Abstract
A logical expression processing device (1) is provided with: an acquisition unit (11) which acquires background knowledge information in which at least one logical formula represents a set of rules that if an antecedent holds, then a consequent holds, and query information in which at least one logical formula represents observed facts; a processing execution unit (12) which processes the logical formula in at least one of the background knowledge information and query information acquired by the acquisition unit to obtain processed background knowledge information and query information; an inference execution unit (13) which performs logical inference that uses the processed background knowledge information and query information as input; and an evaluation unit (14) which outputs at least one of the processed background knowledge information and query information, depending on whether or not the execution result of the logical inference satisfies prescribed requirements.
