Abstract

To provide a terminal capable of suppressing breakage of a connection object.SOLUTION: A terminal 1 comprises a main body part 10, an elastic plate 20, a base part 30, a pressing part 40, and a first projection part 50 as a regulation part. The main body part 10 is formed with an opening 10a into which a connection object 90 is inserted, the main body part 10 being formed in such a shape that the connection object 90 can be inserted from the opening 10a in an insertion direction D1. The elastic plate 20 has a contact part 21 arranged in the main body part 10 so as to be in contact with the connection object 90. The base part 30 and the contact part 21 hold the connection object 90 therebetween. The pressing part 40 presses a tip end 20a of the elastic plate 20 located at an inner side in the insertion direction D1 against the base part 30. The first projection part 50 regulates movement of the tip end 20a in a pressing direction D2 in order to keep the tip end 20a in a non-contact state with respect to the base part 30, at a position corresponding to the tip end 20a of the elastic plate 20 pressed from the pressing part 40.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
