Abstract
Description
[Technical field]
[0001] The present invention relates to a water jet type deburring device for removing burrs from resin molded products. [Background technology]
[0002] In modern society, there are many industrial products on the market that are manufactured by molding materials into desired shapes. During this molding process, some of the material may protrude beyond the desired shape, resulting in excess protrusions called burrs on the molding surface of the molded product.
[0003] For example, in molded products whose outer shape is determined by molding, burrs (so-called outer burrs) protruding from the molding surface corresponding to the outer periphery of the molded product are often formed, and in products in which through holes are formed by molding, burrs (so-called hole burrs) protruding from the molding surface corresponding to the inner wall surface of the through hole are often formed. Therefore, after molding, a deburring process is required to remove such burrs from the molded product.
[0004] Here, as one deburring method, a water jet type deburring method in which burrs are removed by spraying water onto the molded product to be deburred has been conventionally known (see, for example, Patent Documents 1 and 2). Since water jet type deburring can remove burrs simply by spraying water, it has the advantage of being less time-consuming and more efficient than deburring methods that remove individual burrs with cutting tools, etc. [Prior art documents] [Patent documents]
[0005] [Patent Document 1] Japanese Patent Application Publication No. 3-178385 [Patent Document 2] Japanese Patent Application Publication No. 4-224912 Summary of the Invention [Problem to be solved by the invention]
[0006] However, in water jet deburring, the force of the jetted water acts not only on the area where the burr exists but also on the surrounding area, so there is a risk of damaging the molded product being deburred. For this reason, water jet deburring has traditionally been applied to molded products that have a relatively high resistance to the force of the jetted water, such as metal molded products made by forming metal materials, and has been considered unsuitable for molded products with low durability.
[0007] For example, resin molded products made by molding resin materials have lower durability than metal molded products, so deburring methods other than the water jet method, such as deburring using ultrasonic waves or cutting tools, are often used for resin molded products.
[0008] However, resin products obtained from resin molded products are industrial products that are in high demand and are used in a variety of fields, and from the perspective of improving productivity, there is a strong desire to apply water jet deburring, which offers high deburring efficiency, to resin molded products as well.
[0009] In view of the above circumstances, the present invention aims to realize a water jet type deburring device that removes burrs from resin molded products while suppressing damage to the resin molded products caused by the jet of water. [Means for solving the problem]
[0010] In order to solve the above-mentioned problems, the present invention provides the following deburring device.
[0011] [1] A water jet type deburring device that removes burrs from a resin molded product having a molding surface from which burrs protrude, at least a portion of which is plate-shaped, by spraying water onto the resin molded product, the deburring device comprising: a first jig having a flat placement surface on which the resin molded product is placed with the underside of the resin molded product that connects to the molding surface in contact with the placement surface; a second metal jig having a flat pressing surface that sandwiches the resin molded product with the molding surface exposed between the pressing surface and the placement surface of the first jig, while covering the upper surface of the resin molded product that connects to the molding surface on the opposite side to the underside, up to the vicinity of the molding surface; and a water spraying unit that sprays water from the side of the second jig toward the burrs on the molding surface.
[0012] [2] The resin molded product is molded using its outer peripheral surface as the molding surface, and the burr is a peripheral burr protruding from the outer peripheral surface, and the water injection section is positioned directly above the second jig on a plane along the outer peripheral surface, and water is sprayed from the tip of the water injection section with a predetermined angular width.
[0013] [3] The resin molded product has a through hole molded with an inner wall surface as the molding surface, and the burr is a hole burr protruding from the inner wall surface of the through hole, the first jig has a first communication hole formed therein that communicates with the through hole when the resin molded product is sandwiched between the first jig and the second jig, and the second jig has a second communication hole formed therein that communicates with the through hole when the resin molded product is sandwiched between the first jig and the second jig, the second communication hole having an inflow opening through which water sprayed from the water injection unit flows in, and an outflow opening connected to an opening of the through hole on the second jig side through which the water flowing in from the inflow opening flows out into the through hole.
[0014] [4] The second jig is a deburring device described in [3], wherein the second jig has a second communicating hole whose inlet opening has a larger opening area than the outlet opening.
[0015] [5] The second jig is a deburring device described in [4], wherein the second communicating hole is formed such that at least a portion of the inner wall surface of the second jig narrows and tapers from the inlet opening side toward the outlet opening side.
[0016] [6] The second tool is a deburring device described in [4] or [5], wherein the second communicating hole is formed such that at least a portion of the inner wall surface of the second jig curves and narrows from the inlet opening side toward the outlet opening side. Effect of the Invention
[0017] In the deburring device of the present invention, the upper surface of the resin molded product is covered with the second metal jig, thereby preventing the resin molded product from being damaged by water sprayed from the water spray unit. As a result, the present invention makes it possible to remove burrs from the resin molded product while suppressing damage to the resin molded product caused by spraying water. FIG. DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENTS
[0019] Hereinafter, an embodiment of the present invention will be described with reference to the drawings. It should be understood that the present invention is not limited to the following embodiment, and that appropriate design changes, improvements, etc. may be made based on the ordinary knowledge of a person skilled in the art without departing from the spirit of the present invention.
[0020] FIG. 1 is a schematic diagram showing the configuration of a deburring device 10 according to one embodiment of the present invention.
[0021] The deburring device 10 is a water jet type deburring device that removes burrs from a resin molded product, at least a portion of which is plate-shaped and has a molding surface from which burrs protrude, by spraying water onto the resin molded product.
[0022] The term "resin molded product" here refers to a molded product at least partially molded from a resin material. In other words, the term "resin molded product" includes not only a molded product entirely molded from a resin material and made only of resin, but also a molded product partially molded from a resin material and other portions made of a material other than resin (such as metal). In Fig. 1, as an example of a resin molded product to be deburred, a resin molded product 4 is shown, which is made of a main body 41 having a shape that spreads out in a plane and a plate-shaped seal part 42 made of resin that seals the end of the main body 41.
[0023] The resin molded product 4 (more precisely, the seal portion 42 which is a part of the resin molded product) is molded from a resin material with the outer peripheral surface 4c as the molding surface, and during this molding, an outer peripheral burr X protruding from the outer peripheral surface 4c may be generated as shown in Fig. 1. Furthermore, as will be described later, the resin molded product 4 has a through hole 40 (not shown in Fig. 1, see Figs. 2 and 3 described later) molded in the seal portion 42, and during this molding, a hole burr Y (see Fig. 2 described later) protruding from the inner wall surface 4d of the through hole 40 may be generated.
[0024] As components for removing burrs during molding, the deburring device 10 includes a first jig 1, a second jig 2, and a water injection unit 3. These components will be described below with reference to FIG. 1, taking the case of removing peripheral burrs X as an example.
[0025] The first jig 1 has a flat arrangement surface 1a. When removing peripheral burrs X, the resin molded product 4 is arranged with the lower surface 4b of the resin molded product 4 in contact with the arrangement surface 1a of the first jig 1. Here, the lower surface 4b of the resin molded product 4 is connected to the outer peripheral surface 4c, which is the molding surface, and in this arranged state, the molding surface (the outer peripheral surface 4c in FIG. 1) is exposed to the outside.
[0026] The second jig 2 is a metal member having a flat pressing surface 2a. When removing peripheral burrs X, the second jig 2 sandwiches the resin molded product 4 with the molding surface (outer peripheral surface 4c in FIG. 1) exposed between the pressing surface 2a and the placement surface 1a of the first jig 1. The second jig 2 covers the upper surface 4a of the resin molded product 4 sandwiched in this manner up to the vicinity of the molding surface (outer peripheral surface 4c in FIG. 1). Here, the upper surface 4a of the resin molded product 4 is the surface of the resin molded product 4 opposite the above-mentioned lower surface 4b, and is the surface that connects with the molding surface (outer peripheral surface 4c in FIG. 1).
[0027] The water injection unit 3 injects water from a tip 31 toward the peripheral burr X on the molding surface (the peripheral surface 4c in FIG. 1) from the side of the second jig 2. This water injection removes the peripheral burr X from the molding surface (the peripheral surface 4c in FIG. 1).
[0028] Next, removal of hole burrs will be described.
[0029] FIG. 2 is a schematic explanatory diagram of hole burr removal in the deburring device 10 of FIG.
[0030] As shown in FIG. 2, in the resin molded product 4, a through hole 40 is molded in the sealing portion 42 (not shown in FIG. 1), and FIG. 2 shows that a hole burr Y generated during this molding protrudes from the inner wall surface 4d of the through hole 40.
[0031] When removing hole burrs Y, similarly to the removal of peripheral burrs X in Fig. 1, the resin molded product 4 is placed with its lower surface 4b in contact with the placement surface 1a of the first jig 1 as shown in Fig. 2. Here, the lower surface 4b of the resin molded product 4 is connected to the inner wall surface 4d of the through hole 40, which is the molding surface, and in this positioned state, the molding surface (inner wall surface 4d in Fig. 2) is exposed to the outside.
[0032] Furthermore, when removing hole burrs Y, similarly to the removal of peripheral burrs X in Fig. 1, the second jig 2 sandwiches the resin molded product 4 with its molding surface (inner wall surface 4d in Fig. 2) exposed between the pressing surface 2a and the placement surface 1a of the first jig 1 as shown in Fig. 2. The second jig 2 covers the upper surface 4a of the resin molded product 4 thus sandwiched up to the vicinity of the molding surface (inner wall surface 4d in Fig. 2) connected to the upper surface 4a.
[0033] A water injection unit 3 (not shown in Fig. 2, see Fig. 1) injects water from the second jig 2 side toward the hole burr Y on the molding surface (inner wall surface 4d in Fig. 2) in the direction of the thick arrow in Fig. 2. This water injection removes the hole burr Y from the molding surface (inner wall surface 4d in Fig. 2).
[0034] 1 and 2, in the deburring device 10, the upper surface 4a of the resin molded product 4 is covered with the metal second jig 2, thereby preventing the resin molded product 4 from being damaged by the water sprayed from the water spraying unit 3. As a result, in the deburring device 10, burrs (peripheral burr X in FIG. 1 and hole burr Y in FIG. 2) can be removed from the resin molded product 4 while minimizing damage to the resin molded product 4 caused by spraying water.
[0035] Here, in the deburring device 10, as shown in FIG. 1, when removing the peripheral burr X, the water spraying unit 3 is positioned directly above the second jig 2 on a plane along the outer peripheral surface 4c, and sprays water from the tip 31 of the water spraying unit 3 with a spread of a predetermined angular width θ.
[0036] Since the water jetted from the water jetting portion 3 has a predetermined angular width θ, the water can easily hit the peripheral burrs X, improving the efficiency of deburring.
[0037] Here, in Fig. 1, the predetermined angle width θ is described as the width of the angle of the water spray direction when the tip 31 of the water spray unit 3 is set as the angular center. Furthermore, the distance L between the tip 31 of the water spray unit 3 and the resin molded product 4, and the water spray range D in a plane perpendicular to the spray direction (the up-down direction in Fig. 1) at a point distance L from the tip 31 (i.e., near the outer peripheral burr X) are also described. The water spray unit 3 sprays water while rotating in the direction of the arrow in the figure, which prevents unevenness in the amount of water sprayed depending on the direction.
[0038] 2, in the deburring device 10, the first jig 1 is formed with a first communication hole 11 communicating with the through hole 40 in a state where the resin molded product 4 is sandwiched between the first jig 1 and the second jig 2. The second jig 2 is formed with a second communication hole 21 communicating with the through hole 40 in a state where the resin molded product 4 is sandwiched between the first jig 1 and the second jig 2. The second communication hole 21 has an inflow opening 21a through which the water injected from the water injection unit 3 flows in, and an outflow opening 21b that is connected to an opening 41a on the second jig 2 side of the through hole 40 and through which the water that flows in from the inflow opening 21a flows out into the through hole 40.
[0039] Such first communication hole 11 and second communication hole 21 allow water to continue to flow up to a location where hole burrs Y are present on the inner wall surface 4d of the through hole 40. At this time, since the second jig 2 covers the resin molded product 4 except for the vicinity of the opening 41a of the through hole 40, damage to the resin molded product 4 by water passing through the second communication hole 21 and the first communication hole 11 is prevented.
[0040] 2, the second communication hole 21 has a straight shape extending straight in the thickness direction of the resin molded product 4 (the vertical direction in FIG. 2), but the same effect can be sufficiently obtained even when a second communication hole of another shape is adopted. Below, a deburring device equipped with a second jig in which a second communication hole of a different shape is formed will be described.
[0041] Figure 3 is a schematic diagram of a deburring device 20 equipped with a second jig 5 in which a second communicating hole 51 having a different shape from the second communicating hole 21 in Figure 2 is formed, and Figure 4 is an enlarged view of the area of the second jig 5 in Figure 3 where the second communicating hole 51 is formed.
[0042] The deburring device 20 in Fig. 3 has the same components as the deburring device 10 in Fig. 1 and Fig. 2, except that a second communication hole 51 having a shape different from the second communication hole 21 in Fig. 2 is formed in the second jig 5 made of metal. In Fig. 3, the same reference numerals are used for such identical components, and the explanation of the identical components shall refer to the explanation of Fig. 1 and Fig. 2, and the duplicated explanation will be omitted here. In addition to the first jig 1 and the second jig 5, the deburring device 20 in Fig. 3 also has a water injection unit 3 (see Fig. 1) not shown in Fig. 3, and this water injection unit 3 injects water in the direction of the thick arrow in Fig. 3 to remove hole burrs Y from the molding surface (inner wall surface 4d in Fig. 3).
[0043] When removing hole burrs Y, as shown in Fig. 3, the second jig 5 of the deburring device 20, like the second jig 2 in Fig. 2, sandwiches the resin molded product 4 with the molding surface (inner wall surface 4d in Fig. 3) exposed between the flat pressing surface 5a of the second jig 5 and the placement surface 1a of the first jig 1. The second jig 5 covers the upper surface 4a of the resin molded product 4 thus sandwiched up to the vicinity of the molding surface (inner wall surface 4d in Fig. 3) connected to the upper surface 4a.
[0044] 3, the upper surface 4a of the resin molded product 4 is covered with the second metal jig 5, thereby preventing the resin molded product 4 from being damaged by water sprayed from the water spraying unit 3 (not shown in FIG. 3, see FIG. 1). As a result, the deburring device 20, like the deburring device 10 of FIGS. 1 and 2, can remove hole burrs Y from the resin molded product 4 while minimizing damage to the resin molded product 4 caused by sprayed water. The same applies to peripheral burrs X (see FIG. 1).
[0045] As shown in Fig. 3, the second jig 5 has a second communication hole 51 formed therein that communicates with the through hole 40 in a state in which the resin molded product 4 is sandwiched between the second jig 5 and the first jig 1. As shown in Figs. 3 and 4, the second communication hole 51 has an inflow opening 51a into which the water sprayed from the water spray unit 3 flows in, and an outflow opening 51ab that is connected to the opening 41a on the second jig 5 side of the through hole 40 and through which the water that flows in from the inflow opening 21a flows out into the through hole 40.
[0046] Here, in the second communication hole 51 in Figures 3 and 4, unlike the second communication hole 21 in Figure 2, the inflow opening 51a has a larger opening area than the outflow opening 51ab connected to the opening 41a of the through hole 40.
[0047] Since the inflow opening 51a has a larger opening area than the outflow opening 51ab, most of the water sprayed from the water spraying part 3 (not shown in FIG. 3) in the direction of the thick arrow in FIG. 3 tends to flow into the second communication hole 21, improving the efficiency of deburring.
[0048] 3 and 4, at least a part of the inner wall surface 52 of the second communication hole 51 of the second jig 5 is tapered and narrowed from the inflow opening 51a side toward the outflow opening 51ab side. More specifically, in the second communication hole 51, of the entire inner wall surface 52 (the entire inner wall surface over the entire length h0 of the second communication hole 51), the upper portion 52a of the thickness direction length h1 from the inflow opening 51a is tapered and narrowed toward the outflow opening 51ab side. In the example of FIG. 3 and FIG. 4, only the upper portion 52a of the entire inner wall surface 52 is tapered, but in the present invention, the entire inner wall surface 52 of the second communication hole may be tapered.
[0049] By inclining at least a portion of the inner wall surface 52 of the second communicating hole 51 into a tapered shape, more of the water sprayed in the direction of the thick arrow in Figure 3 tends to flow into the second communicating hole 21, thereby further improving the efficiency of deburring compared to the form in Figure 2.
[0050] 3 and 4, the remaining lower portion 52b on the side of the outflow opening 51ab of the entire inner wall surface 52 of the second communication hole 51 has a straight shape extending straight in the thickness direction (the vertical direction in FIG. 2) of the resin molded product 4 similar to that of FIG. 2. In particular, in FIG. 4, the upper portion 52a on the side of the inflow opening 51a with an opening diameter d1 of the inner wall surface 52 of the second communication hole 51 has a tapered shape with an inclination angle width φ, and the remaining lower portion 52b on the side of the outflow opening 51ab with an opening diameter d2 (where d1>d2) has a straight shape.
[0051] However, the above-mentioned effect of further improving the efficiency of deburring is not limited to the second communication hole 51 having an inner wall surface 52 with an upper portion 52a tapered and a lower portion 52b straight. That is, there are second communication holes of other shapes in which the inlet opening has a larger opening area than the outlet opening that can achieve the same effect. Below, some second jigs in which second communication holes of other shapes are formed are introduced.
[0052] FIG. 5 is a diagram showing a second metal jig 6 in which a second communication hole 61 having a different shape from that in FIG. 4 is formed.
[0053] At least a part of the inner wall surface 62 of the second communication hole 61 of the second jig 6 in Fig. 5 is curved and narrowed from the inflow opening 61a side toward the outflow opening 61b side. More specifically, the second communication hole 61 is curved in a curved shape with a curvature R over the entire inner wall surface 62 (the entire inner wall surface over the entire length h0 of the second communication hole 61), and is shaped to narrow from the inflow opening 61a side toward the outflow opening 61b side. Here, the outflow opening 61b in Fig. 5 has a smaller opening area than the inflow opening 61a, and is connected to the opening 41a (not shown in Fig. 5, see Fig. 3, etc.) of the through hole 40 of the resin molded product 4, like the outflow opening 51ab in Figs. 3 and 4. In the example of Figure 5, the entire inner wall surface 62 (the entire inner wall surface over the entire length h0 of the second communicating hole 61) is curved, but in the present invention, only the upper portion of the entire inner wall surface 62, whose thickness direction length from the inlet opening 61a is h1, may be curved.
[0054] By curving at least a portion of the inner wall surface 52 of the second communicating hole 51, much of the water sprayed from the water spraying section 3 (not shown in FIG. 5, see FIG. 1) tends to flow into the second communicating hole 61, and similar to the embodiment in FIG. 4, the efficiency of deburring is further improved compared to the embodiment in FIG. 2.
[0055] In the present invention, a second jig may be employed in which a second communication hole is formed, the second communication hole having an inner wall surface that has a shape that combines the tapered shape of FIG. 4 and the curved shape of FIG.
[0056] FIG. 6 is a diagram showing a second jig 7 made of metal in which a second communication hole 71 having an inner wall surface 72 that has a shape that combines the tapered shape of FIG. 4 and the curved shape of FIG. 5 is formed.
[0057] In the second communication hole 71 of the second jig 7 in Fig. 6, of the entire inner wall surface 72 (the entire inner wall surface over the entire length h0 of the second communication hole 71), an upper portion 72a having a length h1 in the thickness direction from the inflow opening 51a has a tapered shape with an inclination angle width φ, as in Fig. 4. On the other hand, the remaining lower portion 72b on the outflow opening 71b side has a curved shape with a curvature R, as in Fig. 5.
[0058] Even when such a second jig 7 is used, much of the water injected from the water injection section 3 (not shown in FIG. 6, see FIG. 1) tends to flow into the second communication hole 71, and similar to the embodiments of FIGS. 4 and 5, the efficiency of deburring is further improved compared to the embodiment of FIG. 2. EXAMPLES
[0059] The following describes more specific examples that demonstrate the effects of the present invention, but the present invention is not limited to these examples.
[0060] Example 1 The deburring device of Example 1 is a specific example of the deburring device 20 of Fig. 3 that is equipped with the second jig 5 of Fig. 4. As described above in the explanation of Fig. 3, the deburring device of Example 1 is equipped with the water injection unit 3 of Fig. 1 (not shown in Fig. 3) in addition to the first jig 1 and the second jig 5 of Fig. 3.
[0061] The first jig 1 (see Figs. 1 to 3) of the deburring device 20 of Example 1 is a stainless steel plate-like member having a flat arrangement surface 1a. The first jig 1 of the deburring device 20 of Example 1 is formed with a straight first communication hole 11 having an aperture of 2.5 mm.
[0062] The second jig 5 (see FIG. 4) of the deburring device of Example 1 is a stainless steel plate-like member having a flat pressing surface 5a. The second jig 5 of the deburring device 20 of Example 1 is formed with a second communication hole 51 (see FIG. 4) having a total length h0 of 3.0 mm, an opening diameter d1 on the inflow opening 51a side of 4.4 mm, and an opening diameter d2 on the outflow opening 51ab side of 2.5 mm. Here, the upper portion 52a (see FIG. 4) of the inner wall surface 52 of the second communication hole 51 has a length h1 from the inflow opening 51a in the thickness direction of the second jig 2 of 1.5 mm, and has a tapered shape with an inclination angle width φ of 60°. On the other hand, the remaining lower portion 52b (see FIG. 4) has a straight shape extending to the outflow opening 51ab with an opening diameter of 2.5 mm.
[0063] The water injection unit 3 (see FIG. 1) of the deburring device of Example 1 ejects water at an injection pressure of 30 MPa from its tip 31 while rotating in the direction of the arrow in FIG. 1 at a rotational speed of 800 to 1000 rpm with an angular width of θ=20° in FIG. 1.
[0064] Example 2 The deburring device of Example 2 is a specific example of the deburring device 10 of Fig. 1 equipped with the second jig 2 of Fig. 2. The first jig 1 (see Figs. 1 to 3) and the water injection unit 3 (see Fig. 1) in the deburring device of Example 2 are the same as those in Example 1, and only the second jig 2 is different from those in Example 1.
[0065] The second jig 2 (see FIG. 2) of the deburring device 10 of Example 2 is a stainless steel plate-like member having a flat pressing surface 2a. The second jig 2 of the deburring device 10 of Example 2 is formed with a straight second communication hole 21 (see FIG. 2) having a total length of 3.0 mm that connects an inflow opening 21a having an opening diameter of 2.5 mm and an outflow opening 21b having an opening diameter of 2.5 mm.
[0066] Comparative Example 1 The deburring device of Comparative Example 1 has the same configuration as the deburring devices of Examples 1 and 2, except that the second jig is not present. That is, the deburring device of Comparative Example 1 has the same first jig 1 (see Figs. 1 to 3) and water spraying unit 3 (see Fig. 1) as Examples 1 and 2, but does not have a second jig. In the deburring device of Comparative Example 1, when removing peripheral burrs X and hole burrs Y, the water sprayed from the water spraying unit 3 is directly received by the resin molded product from which the burrs are to be removed.
[0067] [Test 1] The following test 1 was carried out using the deburring devices of Example 1, Example 2 and Comparative Example 1. As the resin molded product from which burrs were to be removed, the resin molded product 4 shown in Figs. 1 to 3 having a through hole 40 with a diameter of about 2.5 mm was used, and peripheral burrs X (see Fig. 1) and hole burrs Y (see Figs. 2 and 3) on the outer periphery of this resin molded product 4 were removed. In removing peripheral burrs X, the amount of protrusion of the portion of the outer periphery of the resin molded product 4 that was not covered by the second jig of each Example and protruded slightly was about 0.3 mm, which is an extremely small amount.
[0068] Specifically, first, the distance L (see FIG. 1) between the tip 31 of the water spraying unit 3 and the resin molded product 4 to be deburred was set to 15 mm, and peripheral burrs X were removed from the outer peripheral surface 4c (see FIG. 1), which is the molding surface. Note that the water spray range D (see FIG. 1) in a plane perpendicular to the spray direction at the point with the distance L = 15 mm from the tip 31 is 6.5 mm because the angle width θ of the water spray from the water spraying unit 3 is 20°.
[0069] Next, the distance L (see Fig. 1) between the tip 31 of the water spraying part 3 and the resin molded product 4 from which burrs were to be removed was set to 10 mm, and hole burrs Y were removed from the inner wall surface 4d (see Figs. 2 and 3) of the through hole 40, which is the molding surface. Note that the water spray range D (see Fig. 1) in a plane perpendicular to the spray direction at the point with distance L = 10 mm from the tip 31 was 4.7 mm because the angular width θ of the water spray from the water spraying part 3 was 20°.
[0070] The deburring of such peripheral burrs X and hole burrs Y was carried out by feeding the multiple resin molded products 4 one by one in order to a position where they would receive water spray from the water spraying unit 3. The moving speed of the resin molded products 4 fed in this way was 3 m / min. The time spent deburring the hole burrs for one resin molded product 4 was 0.1 seconds.
[0071] In addition, in this test 1, the reason for changing the distance L (see FIG. 1) between the tip 31 of the water injection part 3 and the resin molded product 4 from which burrs are to be removed when removing peripheral burrs X and when removing hole burrs Y is as follows. In general, the size of the water droplet particles that are sprayed from the tip 31 of the water injection part 3 and collide with the burrs becomes smaller as the distance L becomes shorter. In removing hole burrs Y, a distance L of about 10 mm is sufficient, but in removing peripheral burrs X, the trajectory of the tip 31 of the water injection part 3 is more complex than in removing hole burrs, making it difficult to align it with the resin molded product 4. For this reason, the water droplet particles are too small at this distance L, and burrs may be left behind. Therefore, in removing peripheral burrs X, the optimum distance L (see FIG. 1) is 15 to 20 mm. On the other hand, when removing hole burrs Y, if the distance L (see Figure 1) is 15 to 20 mm, depending on the size of the opening through which the injected water flows (for example, the inflow opening in the second communicating hole of the second jig), a large amount of water will miss such opening and not flow into the through hole 40 of the resin molded product 4.
[0072] After performing Test 1 for each of the deburring devices of Example 1, Example 2, and Comparative Example 1, the presence or absence of damage to the resin molded product 4 due to the water injection was checked. In addition, with regard to the hole burrs Y (see Figs. 2 and 3), 10 burrs Y were randomly selected from the hole burrs Y remaining on the inner wall surface 4d of the through hole 40 of the resin molded product 4 after Test 1, and the arithmetic mean value of their heights was calculated.
[0073] [Results of Test 1] The evaluation results of Examples 1 to 3 and Comparative Examples 1 and 2 are shown in Table 1 below, together with the characteristics of these Examples and Comparative Examples.
[0074] [Table 1]
[0075] In Table 1, comparing Comparative Example 1 in which the second jig was not present with Examples 1 and 2 in which the second jigs 5 and 2 were present, the resin molded product 4 was damaged in Comparative Example 1, whereas no damage was observed in the resin molded product 4 in Examples 1 and 2. This shows that by covering the resin molded product 4 with the second jigs 5 and 2, damage to the resin molded product 4 by the water sprayed from the water spray unit 3 is prevented.
[0076] In Table 1, comparing Example 1 in which the second communication hole 51 has a tapered shape on the inflow opening 51a side with Example 2 in which the entire second communication hole 21 has a straight shape, the average value of the height of the remaining hole burrs Y is lower in Example 1 than in Example 2. This shows that by increasing the opening area of the inflow opening side of the second communication hole (more precisely, making it relatively larger than the outflow opening side), most of the sprayed water can easily flow into the second communication hole, improving the efficiency of deburring. In Comparative Example 1, the sprayed water damaged the vicinity of the through hole 40 of the resin molded product 4, so the average value of the height of the remaining hole burrs Y could not be obtained.
[0077] Example 3 The deburring device of Example 3 is a specific example of a deburring device in which the second jig 5 (see Figures 3 and 4) in Example 1 is replaced with the second jig 6 in Figure 5, and the first jig 1 and the water injection section 3 are the same as those in Example 1.
[0078] The second jig 6 (see FIG. 5) of Example 3 is a stainless steel plate member having a flat pressing surface, similar to Example 1. The second jig 6 of Example 3 is formed with a second communication hole 61 (see FIG. 4) that is curved with a curvature R of 3.5 mm over the entire inner wall surface 62 and narrows from the inlet opening 61a side to the outlet opening 61b side. The total length h0 of the second communication hole 61 in Example 3 is 3 mm, similar to Example 1, and the opening diameter of the outlet opening 61b is also the same as Example 1.
[0079] Example 4 The deburring device of Example 4 is a specific example of a deburring device in which the second jig 5 (see Figures 3 and 4) in Example 1 is replaced with the second jig 7 in Figure 6, and the first jig 1 and the water injection section 3 are the same as those in Example 1.
[0080] The second jig 7 (see FIG. 6) of Example 4 is a stainless steel plate member having a flat pressing surface, similar to Example 1. The second jig 7 of Example 4 is formed with a second communication hole 71 having an inner wall surface 72 having a shape combining the tapered shape of Example 1 (see FIG. 4) and the curved shape of Example 3 (see FIG. 5). Specifically, in the second communication hole 71 of Example 4, an upper portion 72a having a length h1 of 2 mm in the thickness direction from the inflow opening 71a has a tapered shape with an inclination angle width φ=60°, and the remaining lower portion 72b on the outflow opening 71b side has a curved shape with a curvature R=3.5 mm.
[0081] Example 5 The deburring device of Example 5 is a specific example of a deburring device in which the second jig 5 (see Figures 3 and 4) in Example 1 is replaced with another second jig 5 (see Figures 3 and 4) that has a different opening diameter d1 on the inlet opening 51a side and a different length h1 of the upper portion 52a (see Figure 4). Apart from these dimensional differences, Example 5 is the same as Example 1, and the first jig 1, water injection unit 3, etc. are also the same as Example 1.
[0082] Therefore, the second jig 5 (see FIG. 6) of Example 5 is also a stainless steel plate-like member having a flat pressing surface, similar to Example 1, and has a second communication hole 51 (see FIG. 4) with a total length h0 of 3.0 mm and an opening diameter d2 of 2.5 mm on the side of the outflow opening 51ab. The upper portion 52a of the inner wall surface 52 of the second communication hole 51 has a tapered shape with an inclination angle width φ of 60°, similar to Example 1. However, in Example 5, the opening diameter d1 on the side of the inflow opening 51a is 4.8 mm, and the length h1 of the upper portion 52a (see FIG. 4) of the inner wall surface 52 of the second communication hole 51 in the thickness direction of the second jig 2 from the inflow opening 51a is 2.0 mm, and these are the only differences from Example 1.
[0083] [Test 2] Test 2 was conducted using the deburring devices of Examples 3 to 5 and the above-mentioned Example 1. Test 2 was exactly the same as Test 1, except that the distance L (see FIG. 1) between the tip 31 of the water injection part 3 and the resin molded product 4 from which the burrs were to be removed was maintained at 15 mm in both the removal of peripheral burrs X (see FIG. 1) and hole burrs Y (see FIG. 2 and FIG. 3).
[0084] After performing Test 2 for each of the deburring devices of Examples 1 and 3 to 5, it was checked whether the hole burrs Y had been sufficiently removed so that the resin molded product 4 could be judged to be an acceptable product.
[0085] [Results of Test 2] After the test 2, in all of the examples 1, 3 to 5, no damage was observed in the resin molded product 4, and the hole burrs Y were sufficiently removed. From this, it can be seen that even if the distance L between the tip 31 of the water injection part 3 and the resin molded product 4 to be deburred is maintained at the optimal distance (about 15 mm) for removing the peripheral burrs X (see FIG. 1), the hole burrs Y can be sufficiently removed if the opening area of the inlet opening side of the second communication hole is large. This is considered to be because the injected water sufficiently flows in from the wide inlet opening in each example. In this case, there is no need to change the distance L between the tip 31 of the water injection part 3 and the resin molded product 4 to be deburred between the process of removing the peripheral burrs X and the process of removing the hole burrs Y, so the efficiency of the deburring work process is improved. Specifically, it is possible to reduce the work time by about one second per resin molded product 4 to be deburred.
[0086] The above is a description of this embodiment.
[0087] In the above description, the removal of burrs from resin molded products has been mainly described, but the present invention may also be applied to the removal of burrs from products other than resin molded products. [Industrial Applicability]
