Abstract

The present invention relates to a baby carrier (1) comprising shoulder straps (5) arranged to extend around both shoulder regions of a wearer, a front piece (2) attached onto the shoulder straps (5) to form a baby carrier pouch (4), and a head support (7), wherein the front piece (2) has a strap-like portion (20) connected to a lower portion of the shoulder straps (5) via a connecting element (10), the strap-like portion (20) being longitudinally movable within the connecting element (10) to adjust the size of the baby carrier pouch (4). The width W1 of the strap-like portion (20) is 50% to 150%, preferably 70% to 130%, and most preferably 90% to 110% greater than the width W2 of the connecting element (10).
