Description

[Technical field]

[0001] The present invention relates to a method for connecting a vibrator head of an upper jig to a vibrator plate in a vibration welding apparatus. [Background technology]

[0002] In a vibration welding device that welds multiple workpieces by generating frictional heat due to minute vibrations on the contact surfaces, a considerable acceleration acts on the upper jig that holds one of the workpieces during welding. For this reason, it is necessary to firmly fix the upper jig to the vibrator plate of the vibrator head. In addition, a method of connecting and fixing this upper jig to the vibrator plate of the vibrator head is generally adopted using a number of connecting bolts.

[0003] 9 to 12 show a method of connecting the vibrator head of the upper jig to the vibrator plate in a conventional vibration welding apparatus.

[0004] In the figure, 101 denotes a vibrator head in a vibration welding device that welds a plurality of workpieces (not shown) by generating frictional heat due to minute vibrations. An upper jig 104 is connected and fixed to a vibrator plate 102 of the vibrator head 101 by a connecting bolt 103. More specifically, the upper jig 104 is abutted against the lower surface side of the vibrator plate 102, and the connecting bolt 103 is inserted through a taper washer 104B into a bolt insertion hole 104A drilled in the upper jig 104, and screwed into a female screw hole 102A formed in the vibrator plate 102. The connecting bolt 103 used has a tapered head.

[0005] However, since the upper jig needs to be replaced frequently, it is desirable to perform the replacement work as quickly as possible. However, since the method of connecting and fixing the vibrator head of the upper jig to the vibrator plate is performed using the connecting bolts as described above, the work of screwing in the connecting bolts takes time, and the replacement work cannot be performed efficiently.

[0006] In other words, if the connecting bolt is screwed into the female thread hole at an angle, the threads will become seized between the connecting bolt and the female thread, resulting in damage to the connecting bolt and the female thread.

[0007] For this reason, the worker had to first carefully screw it in by hand, check that the threads were correctly engaged, and then screw it all the way in with an impact wrench. Therefore, it took a lot of time and effort to screw in just one connecting bolt, and even a medium-sized vibration welding machine requires 8 to 12 connecting bolts to connect and secure the upper jig, so replacing one upper jig required a lot of time and effort. Summary of the Invention [Problem to be solved by the invention]

[0008] The present invention has been made in consideration of the above points, and aims to provide a method for connecting a vibrator head of an upper jig to a vibrator plate in a vibration welding apparatus, which uses a connecting bolt configured so that when the connecting bolt is screwed in, the center of the connecting bolt naturally coincides with the center of the female thread into which it is screwed in, thereby enabling the male threaded portion of the connecting bolt and the female thread to accurately engage with each other without causing galling of the threads in the early stages of engagement, thereby allowing the connecting bolt to be screwed in from start to finish with an impact wrench without the need for manual engagement as in the past, and which significantly reduces the effort and time required for replacing the upper jig, and by using a bolt-engaging nut instead of a female thread formed by a tap, if a defect occurs in the female thread due to a mistake during operation, for example, the original condition can be quickly restored by simply replacing the defective bolt-engaging nut without having to replace the entire large part. [Means for solving the problem]

[0009] The gist of the present invention is a method for connecting a vibrator head of an upper jig that holds one of the workpieces in a vibration welding apparatus that welds a plurality of workpieces by generating frictional heat due to minute vibrations on the contact surfaces of the workpieces, to a vibrator plate, the method comprising: a head-side adaptor plate that connects the upper surface to the vibrator head; and an upper jig-side adaptor plate that connects the upper jig to the lower surface side, the adaptor plate being separably laminated between the head-side adaptor plate and the upper jig; a bolt insertion hole is drilled in the upper jig, and a tapered washer is fitted into the opening of the bolt insertion hole; and a bolt insertion hole is formed in the upper jig-side adaptor plate in the same position as the bolt insertion hole of the upper jig. a bolt insertion hole is drilled in the head side adaptor plate at the same position as the bolt engagement nut of the upper jig side adaptor plate, the bolt insertion hole being centered and centered on the bolt engagement nut of the upper jig side, a connecting bolt having a tapered tip and a cylindrical guide portion having a diameter approximately the same as the root diameter of the male thread portion drilled concentrically at its tip is inserted into the bolt insertion hole of the upper jig, and then the male thread portion is screwed into the bolt engagement nut of the upper jig side adaptor plate using the cylindrical guide portion as a guide.

[0010] In the above-mentioned configuration, a tapered washer separate from the connecting bolt may be fitted onto the head side of the connecting bolt. Effect of the Invention

[0011] The present invention has the above-mentioned configuration, and by using a connecting bolt configured so that when the connecting bolt is screwed in, its center naturally coincides with the center of the female thread into which it is screwed in, the male thread of the connecting bolt and the female thread can be accurately engaged without causing galling of the threads in the early stages of engagement, so that the connecting bolt can be screwed in from start to finish with an impact wrench without the manual engagement required in the past. Therefore, the effort and time required for replacing the upper jig can be greatly reduced.

[0012] In addition, the vibrator head of the upper jig is not directly connected to the vibrator plate of the upper jig, but is connected via an adapter plate consisting of a head side adapter plate which connects the upper surface to the vibrator head and an upper jig side adapter plate which connects the upper jig to the lower surface, and which is separably laminated with these. Furthermore, since a bolt screwing nut is used instead of the female thread formed by a conventional tap, if a defect occurs in the female thread due to a mistake during work, etc., the upper head side adapter plate in the adapter plate is removed, the defective bolt screwing nut embedded in the lower upper jig side adapter plate is replaced with a new one, and then the upper head side adapter plate is again laminated to form an integrated unit, so that it is possible to replace only the defective bolt screwing nut without replacing the entire large part (upper jig side adapter plate).

[0013] Furthermore, instead of using connecting bolts with a tapered head as in the past, a tapered washer is made separately from the connecting bolt itself and fitted onto the head of the connecting bolt. If the tapered washer becomes deformed or damaged due to the impact of being screwed in with an impact wrench, it is possible to leave the connecting bolt itself as it is and simply replace the deformed or damaged tapered washer with a new one. [0015] Hereinafter, an embodiment of the present invention will be described with reference to the drawings.

[0016] In the figure, reference numeral 1 denotes a vibrator head in a vibration welding device that generates frictional heat by micro-vibration on a plurality of workpieces (not shown) to weld them.

[0017] Reference numeral 2 denotes a vibrator plate of the vibrator head 1 in the vibration welding apparatus. The vibrator plate 2 is provided with a connecting hole 3 into which a connecting protrusion provided on the upper surface of a head side adaptor plate of an adaptor plate to be described later is fitted.

[0018] Reference numeral 4 denotes an adapter plate which is interposed between the vibrator plate 2 of the vibrator head 1 and an upper jig described below and is used to connect the upper jig to the vibrator plate 2.

[0019] The adapter plate 4 is made up of a head side adapter plate 5 which connects the upper surface side to the vibrator plate 2, and an upper jig side adapter plate 6 which connects the lower surface side to the jig described below, and these are stacked together in a separable manner.

[0020] The head side adaptor plate 5 and the upper jig side adaptor plate 6 are configured to maintain an overlapping state using an appropriate means such as a connecting bolt (not shown), and when a malfunction occurs in any of the bolt-engagement nuts embedded in the lower upper jig side adaptor plate 6 and it becomes necessary to replace it, the two can be separated to easily perform the replacement.

[0021] The head side adapter plate 5 located on the upper side is configured so that the connecting protrusion 5A on its upper surface is fitted into the connecting hole 3 of the vibrator plate 2, and the state in which it is in close contact with the vibrator plate 2 is maintained by using an appropriate means such as a connecting bolt (not shown).

[0022] In addition, a bolt screwing nut 7 is embedded in the upper jig side adapter plate 6 at the same position as the bolt insertion hole of the upper jig described below, and a bolt insertion hole 8 is drilled in the head side adapter plate 5 at the same position as the bolt screwing nut 7 of the upper jig side adapter plate 6, and the center of the bolt insertion hole 8 is drilled in the head side adapter plate 5.

[0023] An upper jig 9 holds one of the workpieces (not shown). The upper jig 9 has a bolt hole 10 drilled therein and a taper washer 11 fitted into the opening of the bolt hole 10, and is similar to a conventional jig.

[0024] Reference numeral 12 denotes a connecting bolt. The connecting bolt 12 has a cylindrical guide portion 12A, which is tapered at its tip and has a diameter approximately the same as the root diameter of the male thread portion 12', protruding concentrically from the tip portion. A tapered washer 13, which is manufactured separately from the head side of the connecting bolt 12, is fitted onto the outside of the head portion of the connecting bolt 12.

[0025] In the above embodiment, the upper jig 9 is connected to the vibrator plate 2 of the vibrator head 1 via the adapter plate 4, but the adapter plate 4 is always connected and fixed to the vibrator plate 2 of the vibrator head 1, and only the upper jig 9 is replaced.

[0026] When replacing the upper jig 9 and connecting another upper jig 9 to the underside of the upper jig side adaptor plate 6, the connecting bolt 12 is inserted through the bolt insertion hole 10 of the upper jig 9 and then screwed into the bolt screwing nut 7 of the upper jig side adaptor plate 6. As described above, the connecting bolt 12 has a tapered tip 12A' and a cylindrical guide portion 12A having approximately the same diameter as the root diameter of the male thread portion 12' protruding concentrically from the tip portion. Therefore, the male thread portion 12' can be screwed into the bolt screwing nut 7 of the upper jig side adaptor plate 6 using the cylindrical guide portion 12A as a guide. As a result, when the connecting bolt 12 is screwed in, its center naturally coincides with the center of the bolt screwing nut 7 of the upper jig side adaptor plate 6, and therefore, in the initial stage of engagement, no galling of the threads occurs and the bolts can be accurately engaged with each other. Therefore, the connecting bolt 12 can be screwed in from start to finish with an impact wrench, without the manual meshing work required in the past, and the effort and time required for replacing the upper jig can be greatly reduced.

[0027] Furthermore, the upper jig 9 is not directly connected to the vibrator plate 2 of the vibrator head 1, but is connected via the adapter plate 4 which comprises a head side adapter plate 5 which connects the upper side to the vibrator head 1, and an upper jig side adapter plate 6 which connects the upper jig 9 to the lower side, and which is separably laminated with the head side adapter plate 5 and the upper jig side adapter plate 6 which connects the upper jig 9 to the lower side. In addition, since the bolt screwing nut 7 is used instead of the female thread formed by the conventional tap, if a defect occurs in the female thread due to a mistake during work, first, the adapter plate 4 is removed from the vibrator plate 2 of the vibrator head 1, then the upper head side adapter plate 5 in the adapter plate 4 is removed, and the defective bolt screwing nut 7 embedded in the lower upper jig side adapter plate 6 is replaced with a new one, and then the upper head side adapter plate 5 is again laminated to be integrated, so that it is possible to replace only the defective bolt screwing nut 7 without replacing the large part (upper jig side adapter plate 6) as a whole. After replacing the bolt-engaging nuts 7, the adapter plate 4 is again connected and fixed to the vibrator plate 2 of the vibrator head 1.

[0028] Furthermore, instead of using a connecting bolt 12 having a tapered shape on the head side as in the conventional method, a tapered washer 13 is made separately from the connecting bolt 12 itself and the tapered washer 13 is fitted onto the head side of the connecting bolt 12. If the tapered washer 13 is deformed or damaged by the impact when screwing it in with an impact wrench, it is possible to leave the connecting bolt 12 itself as it is and simply replace the deformed or damaged tapered washer 13 with a new one.
