Endoscope overtube

Abstract

To provide an endoscope overtube which simplifies traction operation, has easy operability, and is capable of changing a set insertion angle in operation.SOLUTION: An endoscope overtube 1 has a balloon 13 for indwelling fixation fitted on the circumference of the tip of a body tube 2. In the tip of the body tube 2, a slit 15 is cut from a tip opening to the vicinity of the fitting base of the balloon 13, and portions separated with the slit form branch parts 16 and 17 which can approach and separate from each other. To the circumference of either of the branch parts, an operation balloon 18 is fitted to form a gap by separating both of the branch parts in expansion and eliminate the gap by contact in contraction.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
