[0010] Hereinafter, the present invention will be described based on an example of an embodiment. However, the embodiment shown below is an example for embodying the technical idea of the present invention, and the present invention is not limited to the following description. In the present specification, preferred embodiments are shown, but a combination of two or more of the individual preferred embodiments is also a preferred embodiment. Regarding matters indicated by numerical ranges, when there are several numerical ranges, the lower limit and upper limit can be selectively combined to form a preferred embodiment. Note that the description of a numerical range as "XX to YY" means "XX or more and YY or less." Regarding the numerical range of temperature, for example, "-5℃~55℃" means "-5℃~+55℃" and the "+" symbol is omitted.

[0011] [Resin composition] The resin composition of the present invention is a resin composition comprising a block copolymer (A) including a polymer block (a1) containing a structural unit derived from an aromatic vinyl compound and a polymer block (a2) having a structural unit derived from a conjugated diene containing isoprene, The block copolymer (A) has a rebound resilience of 60% or more at 25°C, The content of the polymer block (a1) in the block copolymer (A) is 5 to 28% by mass. The present invention will be described in detail below.

[0012] <Block copolymer (A)> The block copolymer (A) used in the present invention has a rebound resilience of 60% or more at 25° C. In the present invention, by using a block copolymer (A) having a rebound resilience of 60% or more at 25° C., it is possible to improve the rebound resilience of a molded article using the resin composition of the present invention. In particular, in the present invention, it is presumed that by adjusting the content of the polymer block (a1) in the block copolymer (A) to a specific range, the block copolymer (A) has a microphase separation structure close to a sphere, and as a result, it is considered that the rebound resilience is improved under a wider range of temperature conditions.

[0013] From the viewpoint of improving the impact resilience of the molded article using the resin composition of the present invention, the impact resilience of the block copolymer (A) at 25° C. is preferably 62% or more, more preferably 65% or more, and even more preferably 67% or more, and the upper limit may be substantially 100% or 99%. The "block copolymer (A) having a rebound resilience at 25°C of 60% or more" used in the present invention can be produced by setting the content of polymer block (a1) at 5 to 28% by mass and further by appropriately adjusting the combination and ratio of conjugated dienes constituting the block copolymer (A), the peak top molecular weight, and the like.

[0014] The block copolymer (A) preferably has a rebound resilience of 42% or more, more preferably 45% or more, and even more preferably 48% or more at -5°C. By using the block copolymer (A) having a rebound resilience at -5°C or more than the lower limit, it becomes possible to improve the rebound resilience at low temperatures of the molded article using the resin composition of the present invention. The upper limit of the rebound resilience at -5°C may be substantially 100% or 99%.

[0015] Furthermore, the block copolymer (A) preferably has a rebound resilience of 60% or more, more preferably 63% or more, and even more preferably 65% or more at 55° C. By using the block copolymer (A) having a rebound resilience at 55° C. equal to or more than the lower limit, it becomes possible to improve the rebound resilience of the molded article using the resin composition of the present invention at high temperatures. The upper limit of the rebound resilience at 55° C. may be substantially 100% or may be substantially 99%.

[0016] In the present invention, the rebound resilience of the block copolymer (A) at -5°C, 25°C, and 55°C refers to a value measured in an atmosphere of -5°C, 25°C, or 55°C in accordance with ASTM D1054 (ISO4662:2017), and specifically, can be measured by the method described in the examples.

[0017] The block copolymer (A) used in the present invention contains a polymer block (a1) containing a structural unit derived from an aromatic vinyl compound and a polymer block (a2) having a structural unit derived from a conjugated diene containing isoprene. The structure of each polymer block will be described below. In the present invention, the block copolymer (A) may be used alone or in combination of two or more kinds.

[0018] [Polymer block (a1)] The polymer block (a1) contains structural units derived from an aromatic vinyl compound, and the content of the structural units derived from an aromatic vinyl compound in the polymer block (a1) is preferably 60% by mass or more, more preferably 70% by mass or more, even more preferably 80% by mass or more, even more preferably 90% by mass or more, and particularly preferably substantially 100% by mass.

[0019] Examples of aromatic vinyl compounds constituting the polymer block (a1) include styrene, α-methylstyrene, 2-methylstyrene, 3-methylstyrene, 4-methylstyrene, 4-propylstyrene, 4-t-butylstyrene, 4-cyclohexylstyrene, 4-dodecylstyrene, 2,4-dimethylstyrene, 2,4-diisopropylstyrene, 2,4,6-trimethylstyrene, 2-ethyl-4-benzylstyrene, 4-(phenylbutyl)styrene, 1-vinylnaphthalene, 2-vinylnaphthalene, vinylanthracene, N,N-diethyl-4-aminoethylstyrene, vinylpyridine, 4-methoxystyrene, monochlorostyrene, dichlorostyrene and divinylbenzene. These aromatic vinyl compounds may be used alone or in combination of two or more. Among these aromatic vinyl compounds, styrene, α-methylstyrene and 4-methylstyrene are preferred, and styrene is more preferred. The polymer block (a1) may contain structural units derived from other monomers such as the monomers constituting the polymer block (a2) described below.

[0020] In the present invention, the content of the polymer block (a1) in the block copolymer (A) is 5 to 28% by mass. If the content of the polymer block (a1) is less than 5% by mass, the moldability of the resin composition is likely to decrease, and if it exceeds 28% by mass, the impact resilience of the obtained molded article is likely to decrease. From this viewpoint, the content of the polymer block (a1) in the block copolymer (A) is preferably 7 to 25% by mass, more preferably 10 to 23% by mass, and further preferably 12 to 21% by mass. As described above, the content of structural units derived from an aromatic vinyl compound in the polymer block (a1) in the present invention is preferably 60% by mass or more, and particularly preferably substantially 100% by mass. The content of the polymer block (a1) in the block copolymer (A) can be measured according to the method described in the Examples. Specifically, 1 It can be calculated from the value measured by H-NMR.

[0021] [Polymer block (a2)] The polymer block (a2) has a structural unit derived from a conjugated diene containing at least isoprene, and when the polymer block (a2) contains at least isoprene, the mechanical strength of the resulting molded article can be improved. Examples of conjugated dienes other than isoprene constituting the polymer block (a2) include butadiene, 2,3-dimethyl-butadiene, 2-phenyl-butadiene, 1,3-pentadiene, 2-methyl-1,3-pentadiene, 1,3-hexadiene, 1,3-octadiene, 1,3-cyclohexadiene, 2-methyl-1,3-octadiene, 1,3,7-octatriene, myrcene, farnesene, and chloroprene. These may be used alone or in combination of two or more. Among these, butadiene, myrcene and farnesene are preferred, butadiene and farnesene are more preferred, and butadiene is even more preferred. That is, the polymer block (a2) in the present invention preferably contains a structural unit derived from butadiene in addition to the structural unit derived from isoprene.

[0022] The content of structural units derived from conjugated dienes in the polymer block (a2) is preferably 60% by mass or more, more preferably 80% by mass or more, even more preferably 90% by mass or more, and particularly preferably substantially 100% by mass. The content of the polymer block (a2) in the block copolymer (A) is preferably 72 to 95% by mass, preferably 75 to 93% by mass, more preferably 77 to 90% by mass, and even more preferably 79 to 88% by mass. When the content of the polymer block (a2) is equal to or more than the lower limit, the moldability of the resin composition is improved. When the content of the polymer block (a2) is equal to or less than the upper limit, the strength at break and the elongation at break can be improved while maintaining sufficient flexibility.

[0023] The mass ratio [(a1) / (a2)] of the polymer block (a1) to the polymer block (a2) in the block copolymer (A) is preferably 5 / 95 to 28 / 72, more preferably 7 / 93 to 25 / 75, even more preferably 10 / 90 to 23 / 77, and even more preferably 12 / 88 to 21 / 79. Within the above range, a resin composition having excellent flexibility and even better moldability can be obtained.

[0024] [Connection form] The block copolymer (A) is a block copolymer containing at least one polymer block (a1) and at least one polymer block (a2). The bonding form of the polymer block (a1) and the polymer block (a2) is not particularly limited and may be linear, branched, radial, or a combination of two or more thereof. Among these, a form in which each block is bonded linearly is preferred. As a linear bonding form, when the polymer block (a1) is represented by A and the polymer block (a2) is represented by B, the bond form is (AB). l , A-(BA) m , or B-(AB) nHere, the l, m and n each independently represent an integer of 1 or more. When the block copolymer (A) contains at least one each of the polymer block (a1) and the polymer block (a2), it is preferable that the block copolymer (A) is a triblock copolymer represented by ABA, having blocks in the order of the polymer block (a1), the polymer block (a2), and the polymer block (a1). That is, the block copolymer (A) is preferably a triblock copolymer represented by ABA, and the triblock copolymer may be either unhydrogenated or hydrogenated, but is preferably hydrogenated.

[0025] Here, in this specification, when the same type of polymer blocks are linearly bonded via a divalent coupling agent or the like, the entirety of the bonded polymer blocks is treated as one polymer block. Accordingly, a polymer block that should strictly be represented as AXA (X represents a coupling agent residue) is represented as A as a whole. In this specification, since this type of polymer block containing a coupling agent residue is treated as above, for example, a block copolymer containing a coupling agent residue and that should strictly be represented as ABXBA is represented as ABA and treated as an example of a triblock copolymer.

[0026] In addition, the two or more polymer blocks (a1) in the block copolymer (A) may each be a polymer block consisting of the same structural unit or a polymer block consisting of different structural units. Similarly, when the block copolymer (A) has two or more polymer blocks (a2), each polymer block may each be a polymer block consisting of the same structural unit or a polymer block consisting of different structural units. For example, in the two polymer blocks (a1) in a triblock copolymer represented by ABA, the types of aromatic vinyl compounds in each may be the same or different.

[0027] [Polymer block (a3) composed of other monomers] The block copolymer (A) may contain, in addition to the polymer block (a1) and the polymer block (a2), a polymer block (a3) composed of another monomer, so long as the effect of the present invention is not impaired. Examples of such other monomers include unsaturated hydrocarbon compounds such as propylene, 1-butene, 1-pentene, 4-methyl-1-pentene, 1-hexene, 1-octene, 1-decene, 1-undecene, 1-dodecene, 1-tridecene, 1-tetradecene, 1-pentadecene, 1-hexadecene, 1-heptadecene, 1-octadecene, 1-nonadecene, and 1-eicosene; and functional group-containing unsaturated compounds such as acrylic acid, methacrylic acid, methyl acrylate, methyl methacrylate, acrylonitrile, methacrylonitrile, maleic acid, fumaric acid, crotonic acid, itaconic acid, 2-acryloylethanesulfonic acid, 2-methacryloylethanesulfonic acid, 2-acrylamido-2-methylpropanesulfonic acid, 2-methacrylamido-2-methylpropanesulfonic acid, vinylsulfonic acid, vinyl acetate, and methyl vinyl ether. These may be used alone or in combination of two or more.

[0028] When the block copolymer (A) contains another polymer block (a3), the content thereof is preferably 10% by mass or less, and more preferably 5% by mass or less. When the block copolymer (A) contains a polymer block (a3) other than the polymer block (a1) and the polymer block (a2), the total content of the polymer block (a1) and the polymer block (a2) in the block copolymer (A) is preferably 80 mass% or more, more preferably 90 mass% or more, even more preferably 95 mass% or more, and even more preferably 100 mass%.

[0029] [Method for producing block copolymer (A)] The block copolymer (A) can be produced, for example, by an anionic polymerization method. When the block copolymer (A) is a hydrogenated block copolymer, it can be preferably produced by hydrogenating the carbon-carbon double bonds in the structural units derived from the conjugated diene in the block copolymer.

[0030] (Polymerization process) The block copolymer (A) can be produced by a solution polymerization method or the method described in JP-A 2012-502135 and JP-A 2012-502136. Among these, the solution polymerization method is preferred, and known methods such as ionic polymerization methods such as anionic polymerization and cationic polymerization, and radical polymerization methods can be applied. Among these, the anionic polymerization method is preferred. In the anionic polymerization method, styrene, isoprene, and optionally a conjugated diene other than isoprene are added successively in the presence of a solvent, an anionic polymerization initiator, and optionally a Lewis base to obtain a block copolymer.

[0031] Examples of the anionic polymerization initiator include alkali metals such as lithium, sodium, and potassium; alkaline earth metals such as beryllium, magnesium, calcium, strontium, and barium; lanthanoid rare earth metals such as lanthanum and neodymium; and compounds containing the above-mentioned alkali metals, alkaline earth metals, and lanthanoid rare earth metals. Among these, compounds containing alkali metals and alkaline earth metals are preferred, and organic alkali metal compounds are more preferred.

[0032] Examples of the organic alkali metal compound include organic lithium compounds such as methyl lithium, ethyl lithium, n-butyl lithium, sec-butyl lithium, t-butyl lithium, hexyl lithium, phenyl lithium, stilbene lithium, dilithiomethane, dilithionaphthalene, 1,4-dilithiobutane, 1,4-dilithio-2-ethylcyclohexane, and 1,3,5-trilithiobenzene; sodium naphthalene, potassium naphthalene, and the like. Among these, organic lithium compounds are preferred, n-butyl lithium and sec-butyl lithium are more preferred, and sec-butyl lithium is even more preferred. The organic alkali metal compound may be reacted with a secondary amine such as diisopropylamine, dibutylamine, dihexylamine, or dibenzylamine to form an organic alkali metal amide. The amount of the organic alkali metal compound used in the polymerization varies depending on the molecular weight of the block copolymer (A), but is usually in the range of 0.01 to 3 mass % based on the total amount of the monomers constituting the block copolymer (A).

[0033] The solvent is not particularly limited as long as it does not adversely affect the anionic polymerization reaction, and examples thereof include saturated aliphatic hydrocarbons such as n-pentane, isopentane, n-hexane, n-heptane, and isooctane; saturated alicyclic hydrocarbons such as cyclopentane, cyclohexane, and methylcyclopentane; and aromatic hydrocarbons such as benzene, toluene, and xylene. These may be used alone or in combination of two or more. There is no particular limit to the amount of the solvent used.

[0034] Lewis bases play a role in controlling the microstructure of structural units derived from conjugated dienes. Examples of such Lewis bases include ether compounds such as dibutyl ether, diethyl ether, tetrahydrofuran, dioxane, and ethylene glycol diethyl ether; pyridine; tertiary amines such as N,N,N',N'-tetramethylethylenediamine and trimethylamine; alkali metal alkoxides such as potassium t-butoxide; and phosphine compounds. When a Lewis base is used, the amount thereof is preferably in the range of 0.01 to 1,000 molar equivalents per mole of the anionic polymerization initiator.

[0035] The temperature of the polymerization reaction is usually in the range of about -80 to 150°C, preferably 0 to 100°C, and more preferably 10 to 90°C. The polymerization reaction may be carried out batchwise or continuously. The block copolymer (A) can be produced by continuously or intermittently supplying each monomer to the polymerization reaction liquid so that the monomers are in a specific range in the polymerization reaction system, or by sequentially polymerizing each monomer in the polymerization reaction liquid so that the monomers are in a specific ratio. The polymerization reaction can be terminated by adding an alcohol such as methanol or isopropanol as a polymerization terminator. The block copolymer can be isolated by pouring the resulting polymerization reaction solution into a poor solvent such as methanol to precipitate the block copolymer, or by washing the polymerization reaction solution with water, separating it, and then drying it.

[0036] An example of a preferred embodiment of the block copolymer (A) is a structure having polymer block (a1), polymer block (a2), and polymer block (a1) in this order. Therefore, a process for obtaining block copolymer (A) by producing polymer block (a1), polymer block (a2), and polymer block (a1) in this order is preferred. In the case of a hydrogenated product, it is more preferred to produce hydrogenated block copolymer (A) by a method further including a process for hydrogenating the obtained block copolymer (A).

[0037] In producing the block copolymer (A), a coupling agent can be used from the viewpoint of efficient production. Examples of the coupling agent include divinylbenzene; polyfunctional epoxy compounds such as epoxidized 1,2-polybutadiene, epoxidized soybean oil, and tetraglycidyl-1,3-bisaminomethylcyclohexane; halides such as tin tetrachloride, tetrachlorosilane, trichlorosilane, trichloromethylsilane, dichlorodimethylsilane, and dibromodimethylsilane; methyl benzoate, ethyl benzoate, phenyl benzoate, diethyl oxalate, diethyl malonate, diethyl adipate, and dimethyl phthalate. ester compounds such as dimethyl carbonate, diethyl carbonate, diphenyl carbonate, etc.; carbonate compounds such as dimethyl carbonate, diethyl carbonate, diphenyl carbonate, etc.; alkoxysilane compounds such as diethoxydimethylsilane, trimethoxymethylsilane, triethoxymethylsilane, tetramethoxysilane, tetraethoxysilane, tetrabutoxysilane, tetrakis(2-ethylhexyloxy)silane, bis(triethoxysilyl)ethane, 3-aminopropyltriethoxysilane, etc.; 2,4-tolylene diisocyanate, etc.

[0038] (Hydrogenation process) The block copolymer (A) may be hydrogenated by subjecting the block copolymer obtained by the above method to a step of hydrogenating the block copolymer (A). That is, the block copolymer (A) is preferably a copolymer in which the carbon-carbon double bonds in the structural units derived from the conjugated diene are hydrogenated. The hydrogenation can be carried out by a known method. For example, the hydrogenation reaction is carried out in a solution of the block copolymer (A) dissolved in a solvent that does not affect the hydrogenation reaction, in the presence of a hydrogenation catalyst such as a Ziegler catalyst; a nickel, platinum, palladium, ruthenium or rhodium metal catalyst supported on carbon, silica, diatomaceous earth, or an organometallic complex containing cobalt, nickel, palladium, rhodium or ruthenium metal. In the hydrogenation step, a hydrogenation catalyst may be added to the polymerization reaction solution containing the block copolymer obtained by the above-mentioned method for producing the block copolymer (A) to carry out the hydrogenation reaction. In the present invention, the hydrogenation catalyst is preferably palladium carbon in which palladium is supported on carbon. In the hydrogenation reaction, the hydrogen pressure is preferably 0.1 to 20 MPa, the reaction temperature is preferably 100 to 200° C., and the reaction time is preferably 1 to 20 hours.

[0039] The hydrogenation rate of the carbon-carbon double bonds in the structural units derived from the conjugated diene in the block copolymer (A) is preferably 85 mol% or more. When the hydrogenation rate is 85 mol% or more, the weather resistance of the molded article is improved. From this viewpoint, the hydrogenation rate of the carbon-carbon double bonds in the structural units derived from the conjugated diene is more preferably 90 to 99.9 mol%, and further preferably 95 to 99.9 mol%. The hydrogenation rate is the ratio of the block copolymer (A) before hydrogenation and the block copolymer (A) after hydrogenation. 1 It can be calculated by measuring H-NMR.

[0040] The above hydrogenation rate is the hydrogenation rate of carbon-carbon double bonds in all structural units derived from conjugated dienes present in the block copolymer (A). An example of the carbon-carbon double bond in the structural unit derived from a conjugated diene present in the block copolymer (A) is a carbon-carbon double bond in the structural unit derived from a conjugated diene in the polymer block (a2). In this specification, although the polymer block (a2) in the hydrogenated block copolymer (A) has been hydrogenated, it will be referred to as "polymer block (a2)" in the same manner as before hydrogenation.

[0041] In the present invention, an unmodified block copolymer may be used, but a block copolymer modified as described below may also be used. In the case of a modified block copolymer, the block copolymer may be modified after the hydrogenation step. Examples of functional groups that can be introduced by modification include amino groups, alkoxysilyl groups, hydroxyl groups, epoxy groups, carboxyl groups, carbonyl groups, mercapto groups, isocyanate groups, and acid anhydride groups.

[0042] As a method for modifying the block copolymer, for example, a method in which the isolated and hydrogenated block copolymer is grafted with a modifying agent such as maleic anhydride can be mentioned. The block copolymer can also be modified before the hydrogenation step. A specific method includes adding a coupling agent such as tin tetrachloride, tetrachlorosilane, dichlorodimethylsilane, dimethyldiethoxysilane, tetramethoxysilane, tetraethoxysilane, 3-aminopropyltriethoxysilane, tetraglycidyl-1,3-bisaminomethylcyclohexane, 2,4-tolylenediisocyanate, a polymerization end modifier such as 4,4'-bis(diethylamino)benzophenone, N-vinylpyrrolidone, or other modifiers described in JP-A-2011-132298, which can react with the polymerization active terminal, before adding a polymerization terminator. The position where the functional group is introduced may be the polymerization terminal or the side chain of the block copolymer. The functional group may be one type or a combination of two or more types. The modifier is preferably used in an amount of 0.01 to 10 molar equivalents per mole of the anionic polymerization initiator.

[0043] [Peak top molecular weight] The lower limit of the peak top molecular weight (Mp) of the block copolymer (A) is preferably 5,000 or more from the viewpoint of improving mechanical strength, more preferably 9,000 or more, even more preferably 15,000 or more, even more preferably 30,000 or more, and even more preferably 40,000 or more. The upper limit of the peak top molecular weight (Mp) of the block copolymer (A) is preferably 800,000 or less, more preferably 500,000 or less, even more preferably 300,000 or less, even more preferably 200,000 or less, and particularly preferably 150,000 or less from the viewpoint of improving moldability.

[0074] (3) Measurement method for hydrogenation rate Each block copolymer before and after hydrogenation was dissolved in CDCl3, 1 H-NMR measurement was performed [apparatus: "ADVANCE 400 Nano bay" (Bruker), measurement temperature: 30°C]. The hydrogenation rate of the carbon-carbon double bond in the structural unit derived from the conjugated diene in each block copolymer before hydrogenation was calculated from the proton peak of the carbon-carbon double bond appearing at 4.5 to 6.0 ppm in the obtained spectrum according to the following formula. Hydrogenation rate (mol%)={1-(moles of carbon-carbon double bonds contained in 1 mole of each block copolymer after hydrogenation) / (moles of carbon-carbon double bonds contained in 1 mole of each block copolymer before hydrogenation)}×100

[0075] (4) Rebound elasticity of block copolymer and molded body The impact resilience of each block copolymer obtained in the Production Examples and the impact resilience of the molded articles were measured as follows. First, a sheet of 40 mm × 40 mm × 5 mm was prepared by press molding using each of the obtained block copolymers, and a test piece with a diameter of 40 mm was prepared by punching out the sheet. Then, the test piece was used for measurement in accordance with ASTM D1054 (ISO4662:2017). Test pieces were also prepared for the molded products in the same manner, and measurements were carried out in the same manner.

[0076] (5)Hardness From each sheet of the resin composition obtained in the Examples and Comparative Examples, a dumbbell No. 3 test piece (2 mm) was obtained using a punching blade conforming to JIS K 6251:2010. Three of the obtained test pieces were stacked together to a thickness of 6 mm, and the hardness was measured using a type A durometer indenter in accordance with JIS K 6253-3: 2012.
