Abstract
To provide a cleaning device of a liquid injection head capable of efficiently cleaning an injection plate installed with a guard member, while suppressing the leakage of a washing liquid along an opening of the guard member.SOLUTION: A cleaning device 1 of an ink jet head is equipped with a holder 2 relatively moving with respect to the ink jet head. The holder 2 is equipped with an injecting portion 30 that injects a washing liquid toward a nozzle guard 210 of the ink jet head, a wiping portion 40 whose width W2 in a width direction orthogonal to a moving direction of the holder 2 is smaller than the width W1 of an opening of the nozzle guard 210, and which wipes a nozzle plate with the movement of the holder 2, a first sucking portion 50 that is disposed on a front side in the moving direction of the holder 2 with respect to the injecting portion 30 and the wiping portion 40, and a second sucking portion 60 that is disposed on a rear side in the moving direction of the holder 2 with respect to the injecting portion 30 and the wiping portion 40.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
