Manufacturing method of chain terminals

Abstract

To eliminate inconvenience at the time when a chain terminal is wound up and rewound.SOLUTION: A device for manufacturing a chain terminal comprises: a terminal formation part 131 that punches out a first metal plate to form a chain terminal which has a band plate-like chain part 10 and a plurality of terminals connected with the chain part via a connecting part; a dowel processing part that forms a convex part 23 on another band plate-like chain plate material (a chain plate material) 20 consisting of a second metal plate with a plate thickness thinner than that of the first metal plate, by dowel processing in a plate thickness direction; and a coupling part 33 that disconnects each terminal from the chain part so as to include the connecting part and joins the connecting part to another chain plate material to make a series connection. The terminal formation part 131 forms a small hole 13 on the connecting part. The coupling part 133 joins the convex part 23 with the small hole 13 of the connecting part by dowel caulking to form the series connection.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 7
