[0003] [Patent Document 1] JP 2020-120812 A Summary of the Invention [Problem to be solved by the invention]

[0004] There is hope for technology that can further suppress vibration in concrete vibrators. Furthermore, in the field of concrete vibrators, technology is expected to be developed that can further reduce the current value of the motor. [Means for solving the problem]

[0005] This specification discloses a concrete vibrator. The concrete vibrator may include a motor, a shaft driven by the motor, and an eccentric member driven by the shaft. The concrete vibrator may include a hose covering the eccentric member and at least a portion of the shaft. The concrete vibrator may include a housing that accommodates the motor. The concrete vibrator may include an elastic body disposed between the housing and the hose. Effect of the Invention

[0006] According to the above concrete vibrator, vibration is further suppressed. Furthermore, according to the above concrete vibrator, the current value of the motor is further suppressed. [Brief description of the drawings]

[Figure 8] Fig. 8A is an exploded perspective view of the coupling of the rechargeable concrete vibrator as seen from the front, and Fig. 8B is an exploded perspective view of the coupling as seen from the rear. DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENTS

[0008] The concrete vibrator of the present disclosure may include a motor, a flexible shaft driven by the motor, and an unbalancer driven by the flexible shaft. It may also include a flexible hose covering at least a portion of the unbalancer and the flexible shaft. It may also include a main body housing that houses the motor. It may also include an elastic member disposed between the main body housing and the flexible hose. In this case, the elastic member serves to further suppress vibration, and also to suppress an increase in the drive power of the motor due to vibration, thereby further suppressing the current value.

[0009] The elastic member may be in the shape of a ring or a half ring, which makes it easier to provide the elastic member. Furthermore, a holder for holding the elastic member may be provided, in which case the elastic member can be easily provided. In addition, the flexible hose may have a hose holder. The holder may be connected to the flexible hose by the hose holder. The elastic member may be in contact with the main housing. In this case, the elastic member and the flexible hose are easily provided. Furthermore, the elastic member may be in contact with the holder on its outer surface (the radial inner surface, the front surface, and the rear surface) except for the radially outer outer surface. In this case, the elastic member is held more firmly and vibration is further suppressed. Furthermore, the elastic member may have projections, front rib projections and rear rib projections on its outer surface (inner surface, front surface and rear surface) that contacts the holder. In this case, the elastic member becomes more easily deformed, and vibration is further suppressed. Furthermore, the elastic member may be in contact with the main housing. The surfaces of the main housing 2 that come into contact with the elastic member 12 (the curved surface of the semi-opening 2LA and the recessed portions 2LC1 and 2LC2) may be formed with recesses 2LB, 2LD1, and 2LD2. In this case, the elastic member 12 is less likely to slip relative to the main housing 2 and is held more firmly, further suppressing vibration.

[0010] The concrete vibrator of the present disclosure may also include a motor, a coupling connected to the motor, and a flexible shaft driven by the coupling. It may also include an imbalance member driven by the flexible shaft. It may also include a flexible hose covering at least a portion of the imbalance member and the flexible shaft. It may also include a main body housing that houses the motor. The flexible hose may also be movable relative to the main body housing. In this case, the coupling allows the rotating shaft to transmit the rotational force even when it is misaligned with the spindle. In particular, when an elastic member is interposed between the main housing and the vibration part (flexible hose) and the vibration part (flexible hose) is movable relative to the main housing 2, the rotational force can be transmitted to the vibration part more reliably.

[0011] Furthermore, the coupling may have an element, and a front hub and a rear hub connected to the element. There may also be two front hubs and two rear hubs. In addition, the front hub and the rear hub may be disposed in front of and behind the element, with the extension direction of the flexible shaft being the front-to-rear direction. The front hub and the rear hub may have front hub claws and rear hub claws, respectively, and the element may have front grooves and rear grooves into which the front hub claws and rear hub claws fit. In these cases, it is easy to provide the coupling. Furthermore, a spindle may be provided between the coupling and the flexible shaft, which makes it easier to provide the coupling and the flexible shaft.

[0012] Hereinafter, an embodiment of the present invention and its modified examples will be described with reference to the drawings as appropriate. The present embodiment relates to a concrete vibrator, which is an example of an electric power working device and an example of an electric power tool. The front, back, top, bottom, left and right in the embodiments and modified examples are defined for the convenience of explanation and may change depending on at least one of the work situation and the state of the moving parts. However, the present invention is not limited to the above embodiment and modified example.

The holder 11 has a tubular portion 11A, a front flange portion 11B and a rear flange portion 11C which each protrude radially outward from the tubular portion 11A, an upper rear piece 11D1 which protrudes rearward from above the rear surface of the rear flange portion 11C, and a lower rear piece 11D2 which protrudes rearward from below the rear surface of the rear flange portion 11C.

[0015] The elastic member 12 is composed of a left half elastic member 12L and a right half elastic member 12R. The elastic member 12 is disposed between the front flange portion 11B and the rear flange portion 11C of the holder 11. The left half-split elastic member 12L has a half-split elastic member main body 12A, a front flange portion 12B and a rear flange portion 12C that respectively protrude radially outward from the half-split elastic member main body 12A, and an end wall 12D that connects the upper and lower ends of the front flange portion 12B and the rear flange portion 12C. A groove 12X is formed between the front flange portion 12B and the rear flange portion 12C. The groove 12X extends in the circumferential direction and is recessed radially inward. A plurality of protrusions 12E that protrude radially inward from adjacent portions are formed on the inner surface of the half-split elastic member main body 12A. Each of the protrusions 12E extends forward and backward. The protrusions 12E are arranged at equal intervals in the circumferential direction. A plurality of front stripe-like protrusions 12F that each extend radially are provided on the front surface of the front flange portion 12B. Each of the front stripe-like protrusions 12F protrudes forward from adjacent portions. The circumferential position of the front streak protrusions 12F corresponds to the protrusions 12E. Each front streak protrusion 12F contacts the rear surface of the front flange portion 11B of the holder 11. A plurality of rear streak protrusions 12G, each extending radially, are provided on the rear surface of the rear flange portion 12C. Each rear streak protrusion 12G protrudes rearward relative to the adjacent portion. The circumferential position of the rear streak protrusions 12G corresponds to the protrusions 12E. Each rear streak protrusion 12G contacts the front surface of the rear flange portion 11C of the holder 11. The right half-split elastic member 12R has a shape symmetrical to the left half-split elastic member 12L. The right half-split elastic member 12R has a half-split elastic member main body 12A, a front flange portion 12B and a rear flange portion 12C that protrude radially outward from the half-split elastic member main body 12A, and an end wall 12D that connects the upper and lower ends of the front flange portion 12B and the rear flange portion 12C. A plurality of front stripe-like protrusions 12F that extend radially are provided on the front surface of the front flange portion 12B. Each front streak protrusion 12F protrudes forward relative to an adjacent portion. The circumferential position of the front streak protrusion 12F corresponds to the protrusion 12E. Each front streak protrusion 12F contacts the rear surface of the front flange portion 11B of the holder 11. A plurality of rear streak protrusions 12G, each extending radially, are provided on the rear surface of the rear flange portion 12C. Each rear streak protrusion 12G protrudes rearward relative to an adjacent portion. The circumferential position of the rear streak protrusion 12G corresponds to the protrusion 12E. Each rear streak protrusion 12G contacts the front surface of the rear flange portion 11C of the holder 11. At least one of the protrusions 12E, the front streak-like protrusions 12F, and the rear streak-like protrusions 12G may be omitted. At least one of the protrusions 12E, the front streak-like protrusions 12F, and the rear streak-like protrusions 12G may be increased or decreased in number, for example, one for each elastic member 12, or one for each of the left and right half-split elastic members 12L, 12R. The extension direction of the protrusions 12E, the front streak-like protrusions 12F, and the rear streak-like protrusions 12G may be other than that described above. At least one of the protrusions 12E, the front streak-like protrusions 12F, and the rear streak-like protrusions 12G may be other than a streak-like shape. At least one of the protrusions 12E, the front streak-like protrusions 12F, and the rear streak-like protrusions 12G may be arranged other than that described above. The elastic member 12 may be formed by omitting the end walls 12D of the left and right half-split elastic members 12L, 12R, and integrating them. The elastic member 12 may be divided into three or more parts.

[0016] A curved surface of the half-opening 2LA at the front of the half-housing 2L, which corresponds to the left half of the cylindrical opening at the front of the motor accommodating section 4, is formed with a plurality of recesses 2LB each recessed radially outward. A recess 2LC1 is formed above the half-opening 2LA, recessed leftward from the mating surface of the half-housing 2L with the half-housing 2R above the half-opening 2LA, and a recess 2LC2 is formed below the half-opening 2LA, recessed leftward from the mating surface of the half-housing 2L with the half-housing 2R below the half-opening 2LA. Each of the recesses 2LC1, 2LC2 is recessed from the mating surface by the thickness of the end wall 12D of the left-half elastic member 12L. A plurality of recesses 2LD1 each recessed radially outward are formed in the recess 2LC1, and a plurality of recesses 2LD2 each recessed radially outward are formed in the recess 2LC2. On the other hand, the half-opening 2RA (see FIG. 4) at the front of the half-housing 2R is formed in the same manner as the half-opening 2LA. At least one of the recesses 2LB, 2LD1, and 2LD2 may be omitted. The half opening 2LA of the half housing 2L protrudes radially inward relative to the portion immediately behind it. The half opening 2LA is sandwiched between the front flange portion 12B and the rear flange portion 12C of the left half-split elastic member 12L. The inner curved surface of the half opening 2LA contacts the protrusion 12E of the left half-split elastic member 12L. The half opening 2LA enters the groove 12X of the left half-split elastic member 12L. On the other hand, the half opening 2RA of the half housing 2R similarly holds the right half-split elastic member 12R. The vibration part 14 is connected to the front end of the cylindrical part 11A.

[0017] The motor 10 is an inner rotor type brushless motor having an outer stator 15 and a rotor 16 disposed inside the stator 15. The motor 10 is housed in a position in which a rotating shaft 25 provided on the rotor 16 extends in the front-rear direction. The stator 15 is supported between upper and lower support ribs 17, 17 protruding from the inner surfaces of the left and right housing halves 2L, 2R. The rotating shaft 25 has, in order from the rear side, a rear end portion 25A, a central portion 25B, a rear large diameter portion 25C, a front large diameter portion 25D, and a front end portion 25E. The stator 15 has a stator core 18 and insulators 19A and 19B arranged in front and behind the stator core 18. A plurality of (six) coils 20 are wound around the stator core 18 via the insulators 19A and 19B. Each coil 20 is three-phase connected on the rear insulator 19B. A three-phase power line 22 is drawn out from a connector 21 screwed to the lower end of the insulator 19B. The power line 22 runs around the upper side of the controller 50 in the controller housing 5 and is connected to the upper surface of the control circuit board 52. A sensor circuit board 23 equipped with a rotation detection element (not shown) is screwed to the rear surface of the insulator 19B. A signal line 24 drawn out from the lower end of the sensor circuit board 23 runs around the upper side of the controller 50 and is connected to the upper surface of the control circuit board 52. In addition, in FIG. 2 and FIG. 3, each wire is shown only by a simple two-dot chain line in order to show the wiring route.

[0018] The rotor 16 includes a rotating shaft 25, a rotor core 26 provided around the rotating shaft 25 (at a central portion 25B), and a plurality of (four) permanent magnets 27 fixed to the rotor core 26. A rear end portion 25A of the rotating shaft 25 is rotatably supported via a bearing 29 by a rear bearing holder 28 protruding from the inner surface of the half housings 2L, 2R. A front large diameter portion 25D of the rotating shaft 25 is rotatably supported via a bearing 31 by a front bearing holder 30 protruding from the inner surface of the half housings 2L, 2R behind the holder 11. The front bearing holder 30 has an upper wall 30A extending in the front-rear and left-right directions, and a lower wall 30B extending in the front-rear and left-right directions. A fan 32 is fixed to the rotating shaft 25 (rear large diameter portion 25C) between the stator 15 and the bearing 31. The fan 32 is surrounded by a box-shaped partition rib 33. A part of a front wall 33A extending up, down, left and right of the partition rib 33 serves as a front bearing holding portion 30. The front ends of each support rib 17 are connected to the top and bottom of a rear wall 33B extending up, down, left and right of the partition rib 33. The lower part of the partition rib 33 has a first lower front wall 33C and a second lower front wall 33D extending in the front, back, left and right directions, respectively. The rear end of the first lower front wall 33C is disposed rearward of the front wall 33A. The front end of the first lower front wall 33C is connected to the lower inner surface of the main body housing 2. The second lower front wall 33D spans between the front wall 33A and the rear wall 33B in the front-rear direction, and is disposed below the first lower front wall 33C. The partition rib 33 protrudes from the inner surface of the half housings 2L, 2R. An exhaust passage 35 connected to the fan 32 is formed inside the partition rib 33 and below the fan 32. A plurality of exhaust ports 36 are formed in the lower surface of the main housing 2, which is the downstream end of the exhaust passage 35.

[0019] The upper rear piece 11D1 of the holder 11 is normally disposed above the upper wall 30A of the front bearing holding portion 30 with a gap therebetween. Also, the lower rear piece 11D2 of the holder 11 is normally disposed below the lower wall 30B of the front bearing holding portion 30 with a gap therebetween. Such an arrangement of the upper rear piece 11D1 and the lower rear piece 11D2 suppresses the transmission of vibration from the holder 11 to the front bearing retaining portion 30. Even if the holder 11 receives an external force and rotates relative to the main body housing 2, the upper rear piece 11D1 hits the upper wall 30A of the front bearing retaining portion 30, and the lower rear piece 11D2 hits the lower wall 30B of the front bearing retaining portion 30, thereby stopping the rotation. In addition, in the holder 11, at least one of the upper rear piece 11D1 and the lower rear piece 11D2 may be omitted.

[0020] The cylindrical portion 11A of the holder 11 holds multiple (two) bearings 41 via a cylindrical bearing retainer 37. The bearing retainer 37 is made of metal, i.e., iron. The holder 11 is made of aluminum, and if the bearings 41 were held directly, there is a possibility that the bearings 41 would creep (slip) relative to the holder 11 due to heat generated during operation. However, in the concrete vibrator 1, each bearing 41 is held via the bearing retainer 37, so creep of each bearing 41 is suppressed. A spacer 38 is provided between the front and rear bearings 41. The front and rear bearings 41 and the spacer 38 are fixed to the bearing retainer 37 by a snap ring 39. The spindle 40 is supported by the front and rear bearings 41 so as to be rotatable about its own central axis. The spindle 40 has a front end 40A, a large diameter portion 40B, and a rear end 40C. The spindle 40 is disposed coaxially in front of the rotating shaft 25 and is coupled to the rotating shaft 25 by a coupling 42. The front end 40A of the spindle 40 protrudes forward from the cylindrical portion 11A. The large diameter portion 40B of the spindle 40 is disposed between the front and rear bearings 41, radially inward of the spacer 38.

[0021] Fig. 8A is an exploded perspective view of the coupling 42 as viewed from the front and Fig. 8B is an exploded perspective view of the coupling 42 as viewed from the rear. The coupling 42 has an iron front hub 42A, an elastic (rubber) element 42B, and an iron rear hub 42C. The front hub 42A has a cylindrical front hub body 42A1 and a pair of front hub claws 42A2 each protruding rearward from the rear of the front hub body 42A1. The front hub body 42A1 has a front hole portion 42A3. The spindle 40 (rear end portion 40C) is inserted in the front hole portion 42A3. The element 42B has a cylindrical element body 42B1, a pair of front grooves 42B2 each extending from the front end to the rear end edge of the element body 42B1 and recessed radially inward relative to the adjacent portion, and a pair of rear grooves 42B3 each extending from the rear end to the front end edge of the element body 42B1 and recessed radially inward relative to the adjacent portion. The front grooves 42B2 and the rear grooves 42B3 are alternately arranged in the circumferential direction. The front grooves 42B2 and the rear grooves 42B3 extend over the entire circumferential direction of the element body 42B1. The rear hub 42C has a cylindrical rear hub body 42C1 and a pair of rear hub claws 42C2 each protruding forward from a front portion of the rear hub body 42C1. The rear hub body 42C1 has a rear hole portion 42C3. The rotating shaft 25 (front end portion 25E) is inserted in the rear hole portion 42C3. Each front hub claw 42A2 is received in a corresponding front groove 42B2. The front hub 42A is coupled to an element 42B. Each rear hub claw 42C2 is received in a corresponding rear groove 42B3. The rear hub 42C is connected to the element 42B. Furthermore, at least one of the front and rear claws may be formed on the element 42B, and the groove may be formed on at least one of the front hub 42A and the rear hub 42C.

[0022] The vibration part 14 is assembled by screwing a cylindrical hose holder 45 provided at the rear end into the tube part 11A. The vibration part 14 has an outer flexible hose 46 and a flexible shaft 47 provided inside the outer flexible hose 46. The flexible hose 46 as a hose has flexibility, which is a property of being able to bend while having a predetermined degree or more of axial rigidity. The flexible shaft 47 as a shaft has flexibility, which is a property of being able to bend while having a specific degree or more of axial rigidity. At least one of the hose and the shaft does not have to have flexibility. An unbalancer 44 serving as an eccentric member is connected to the front end of the flexible shaft 47. The unbalancer 44 is a columnar member extending in the front-rear direction, and is supported rotatably around a virtual rotation axis in the front-rear direction. The unbalancer 44 has two recessed portions 44A in a shape in which a part of a curved surface of a virtual cylinder centered on the rotation axis is recessed. The unbalancer 44 has a non-rotationally symmetric shape around the rotation axis due to each recessed portion 44A, and is eccentric. The weight balance of the unbalancer 44 is biased by the recessed portions 44A. The number of recessed portions 44A may be one, or three or more. The shape of the unbalancer 44 may be different. A plurality of unbalancers 44 may be provided. A cap 49 is fitted to the front end of the flexible hose 46 . The rear end of the flexible shaft 47 is coaxially coupled to the front end of the spindle 40 via a joint sleeve 48 .

[0023] The controller 50 is housed in the controller housing 5 in a state where it extends rearward. The controller 50 has a case 51 and a control circuit board 52 housed in the case 51. The case 51 is made of a metal such as aluminum that has high heat dissipation properties and has an open top. The control circuit board 52 has a microcomputer and multiple switching elements mounted on the top surface. Note that in FIG. 2, the right side of the controller 50 is shown, not a vertical central cross section. The case 51 is held by holding ribs 53 protruding from the inner surfaces of the half housings 2L and 2R. A heat dissipation portion 54 consisting of a plurality of projections and recesses is formed in the center of the bottom surface of the case 51. The holding ribs 53 hold the periphery of the case 51 except for the heat dissipation portion 54. The controller 50 may be accommodated in a location other than the controller accommodating portion 5 in the concrete vibrator 1 .

[0024] A plurality of air intakes 55A, 55B are formed in the lower wall of the main housing 2 in front of the controller 50. Each air intake 55A is disposed on the rear side of the rear wall 33B of the partition rib 33. Each air intake 55B is disposed behind each air intake 55A and in front of the controller 50. A lower guide wall 56 extends upward from the boss of the screw 3 of the battery holding portion 7 and protrudes from the inner surface of the half housings 2L, 2R behind the intake port 55B. The upper end of the lower guide wall 56 is inclined forward relative to the lower portion. The upper end of the lower guide wall 56 is located behind each intake port 55A. The upper end of the lower guide wall 56 is located above the controller 50. An upper guide wall 57 protrudes from the inner surface of the half housings 2L, 2R above the lower guide wall 56. The upper guide wall 57 extends rearward from the rear wall 33B of the partition rib 33. The rear portion of the upper guide wall 57 is aligned along the lower surface of the main housing 2. The front end portion of the upper guide wall 57 is located above the lower guide wall 56 and faces the same direction as the upper end portion of the lower guide wall 56. Each air intake port 55A is located below the lower guide wall 56. The lower guide wall 56 and the upper guide wall 57 form a "Y"-shaped air intake passage 58 above each air intake port 55A and behind each air intake port 55B. That is, the air sucked in from each air intake port 55A moves rearward along the upper guide wall 57 and reaches the upper side of the lower guide wall 57. On the other hand, the air sucked in from each air intake port 55B moves upward along the lower guide wall 57 and reaches the upper side of the lower guide wall 57. The air that joins together above the lower guide wall 57 flows rearward through between the front end of the upper guide wall 57 and the upper end of the lower guide wall 56. Then, the air is divided into two flows: one that reaches the motor 10 via the controller 50 side and one that reaches the motor 10 directly. A display panel 59 is provided on the top surface of the controller housing 5, above the controller 50 and behind the motor 10. The display panel 59 is electrically connected to the control circuit board 52, and displays the remaining capacity of the battery pack 90.

[0025] The grip portion 6 has an upper grip 60 and a lower grip 61 . The upper grip 60 extends in the front-rear direction. A front end of the upper grip 60 is coupled to the motor accommodating portion 4 from above. The lower grip 61 extends in the vertical direction. An upper end of the lower grip 61 is connected to a rear end of the upper grip 60. A lower end of the lower grip 61 is connected to the battery holding portion 7 from above. The grip portion 6 is connected to the motor housing portion 4, the controller housing portion 5 and the battery holding portion 7 in a loop shape. Shoulder belt locking portions 62 are provided on the front and rear upper surfaces of the upper grip 60. Since the locking portions 62 are lined up in the front-to-rear direction, it is easy for a user to adjust the direction of the vibration portion 14 when working with the concrete vibrator 1 while wearing the shoulder belt on his / her shoulder.

[0026] A switch 65 is provided on the upper part of the lower grip 61. The switch 65 has a plunger 66 that protrudes forward. A switch lever 67 is provided in front of the plunger 66. When the user pushes the switch lever 67 rearward, it pushes in the plunger 66. The switch 65 is electrically connected to the control circuit board 52 by a lead wire 68. A cylindrical ferrite core 69 is provided around the lead wire 68. A lock button 71 is provided inside the upper grip 60 above the switch 65. The lock button 71 normally prevents the switch lever 67 from being pushed inward, but allows the switch lever 67 to be pushed inward in the left / right direction. In FIG. 2, the switch 65, plunger 66, switch lever 67 and lock button 71 are shown on their right side, not in a vertical central cross section.

[0027] A terminal block 83 is held in the battery holding portion 7. The terminal block 83 is held in a position extending in the front-rear direction. The terminal block 83 has a plurality of terminal plates (not shown). The terminal block 83 is electrically connected to the control circuit board 52. Note that in FIG. 2, the right side of the terminal block 83 is shown, not a vertical central cross section. An upwardly recessed battery recess 86 is formed in the battery holding portion 7. The battery recess 86 is disposed behind the terminal block 83.

[0028] A battery pack 90 can be attached to the battery holding portion 7 by pushing the battery pack 90 forward from the rear of the battery holding portion 7. Note that in Fig. 2, the right side of the battery pack 90 is shown, rather than a vertical central cross section. A connection portion 92 is disposed on the upper portion of the battery pack 90. The connection portion 92 is connectable to the battery holding portion 7. The connection portion 92 has a plurality of slits (not shown) and terminal fittings disposed in each slit. When the battery pack 90 is attached to the battery holding portion 7, the terminal fittings of the connection portion 92 come into contact with the terminal plate of the terminal block 83, thereby electrically connecting the battery pack 90 to the terminal block 83. A hook button 95 is provided at the rear of the connection part 92. The hook button 95 has an upward hook part 96 at its front end. The hook button 95 is biased by a coil spring (not shown) to an upper position where the hook part 96 protrudes upward from the connection part 92. The hook button 95 enters the battery recess 86 when attached to the battery holding part 7. To remove the battery pack 90, the hook button 95 is pressed downward, which releases the hook portion 96 from the battery recess 86, allowing the battery pack 90 to be slid backward and removed.

[0029] The battery cover 8 is in the shape of a box that can contain the battery pack 90. The battery cover 8 can be attached to the battery holding portion 7 in a state where it covers the battery pack 90. The battery cover 8 has a front body cover 100 and a rear opening / closing cover 101 for opening and closing the rear of the body cover 100. The battery pack 90 can be attached and detached by opening the opening / closing cover 101 without removing the battery cover 8 from the battery holding portion 7.

[0030] An example of the operation of such a concrete vibrator 1 will now be described. When using the concrete vibrator 1 for pouring concrete, the user attaches the vibration unit 14 and inserts it into the concrete in the formwork. In this state, the user presses the switch lever 67. This turns on the switch 65, and power from the battery pack 90 is supplied from the controller 50 to the motor 10, causing the rotor 16 to rotate. That is, the microcomputer of the control circuit board 52 obtains the rotational position of the rotor 16 based on the detection signal obtained from the sensor circuit board 23, and causes the switching elements to perform a switching operation to pass a three-phase current through each coil 20 in sequence, causing the rotor 16 to rotate. This causes the rotating shaft 25 to rotate, which in turn causes the spindle 40 to rotate via the coupling 42. The rotation of the spindle 40 then causes the flexible shaft 47 of the vibration unit 14 to rotate. This causes the unbalancer 44 to rotate, which generates vibrations in the vibration unit 14, and the vibrating vibration unit 14 causes the concrete to flow throughout the entire formwork.

[0031] The coupling 42 transmits the rotation of the rotating shaft 25 to the spindle 40 even if the spindle 40 becomes misaligned with respect to the rotating shaft 25 (main body housing 2). More specifically, the deviation is classified into a deviation angle (deviation related to inclination), an eccentricity (deviation in the up-down direction), and an end play (deviation in the front-to-rear direction) between a virtual central axis line in the front-to-rear direction of the rotating shaft 25 and a virtual central axis line in the front-to-rear direction of the spindle 40. Deviations of at least two of the deviation angle, eccentricity, and end play may occur in combination. The deflection angle is allowed by at least one of the front hub 42A and the rear hub 42C tilting relative to the element 42B. The front hub 42A tilts while maintaining connection to the element 42B by one front hub claw 42A2 entering deeper into the front groove 42B2 of the element 42B and the other front hub claw 42A2 entering shallower into the front groove 42B2. The rear hub 42C tilts while maintaining connection to the element 42B by one rear hub claw 42C2 entering deeper into the rear groove 42B3 of the element 42B and the other rear hub claw 42C2 entering shallower into the rear groove 42B3. The eccentricity is permitted by the front hub 42A and the rear hub 42C being tilted and facing in the same direction while maintaining connection with the element 42B. End play is permitted when at least one of the front hub 42A and the rear hub 42C shifts in the front-rear direction relative to the rubber element 42B. The front hub 42A can move forward and backward while maintaining connection to the element 42B by increasing or decreasing the amount of insertion of both front hub claws 42A2 into the front groove 42B2. The rear hub 42C can move forward and backward while maintaining connection to the element 42B by increasing or decreasing the amount of insertion of both rear hub claws 42C2 into the rear groove 42B3.

[0032] Moreover, the transmission of vibration from the vibrating portion 14 to the motor 10 is suppressed. That is, the vibration transmitted from the vibrating portion 14 (mainly the flexible hose 46) to the holder 11 is attenuated by the elastic member 12, and the transmission of the vibration to the main body housing 2 is suppressed. Since the elastic member 12 has each protrusion 12E and each front streak-like protrusion 12F and each rear streak-like protrusion 12G, a space is provided surrounded by the adjacent protrusions 12E, front streak-like protrusions 12F, and rear streak-like protrusions 12G and the holder 11. Therefore, the deformed portion of the elastic member 12 generated when vibration is attenuated can be located in that space. In other words, the space provides room for the elastic member 12 to be sufficiently deformable. Therefore, the elastic member 12 further suppresses vibration. Moreover, the vibration transmitted from the vibrating portion 14 (mainly the flexible shaft 47) to the spindle 40 is suppressed by the coupling .

[0033] When the fan 32 rotates in conjunction with the rotation of the rotary shaft 25, air is sucked in through the intake ports 55A, 55B of the controller housing 5 as indicated by the dotted arrows in FIG. Part of this air flows toward the controller 50 through the "Y" shaped air intake passage 58. Therefore, the air comes into contact with the heat dissipation portion 54 of the case 51, promoting heat dissipation from the controller 50. In addition, the air that has passed through the controller 50 and the air that has not passed through the controller 50 pass through the motor 10 between the support ribs 17, 17 to cool the motor 10. The air that has cooled the motor 10 flows radially outward of the fan 32, passes through the exhaust path 35, and is exhausted to the outside from each exhaust port 36.

[0034] A battery cover 8 is detachably provided on the battery holding portion 7. Therefore, if the battery cover 8 is damaged, the battery cover 8 can be removed for repair or replacement. In addition, a battery pack larger than the battery pack 90 can also be attached to the battery holding portion 7. Therefore, instead of the battery cover 8, a battery cover of a size matching the larger battery pack can be attached / detached to / from the battery holding portion 7.

The coupling 42 may be connected by means other than a hub pawl and groove.

[0036] The battery pack 90 is not limited to a structure in which it is slid into the battery holding portion 7 from the rear. The battery pack 90 may be slid into the battery holding portion 7 from the front, from either the left or right side, or inserted from below. The position of the battery holding portion 7 is not limited to the lower portion of the main housing 2. The position of the battery holding portion 7 may be the rear portion, upper portion, or side portion of the main housing 2. The sizes of the battery pack 90 and the battery cover 8 are not limited to two types, but three or more types may be used.

[0037] At least any of the function, arrangement, type, format, number, and material of the various members or parts may be changed as appropriate. For example, the material of the elastic body may be other than rubber. Furthermore, the power source of the concrete vibrator 1 may be a commercial power source (AC) instead of or together with the battery pack 90 (DC). The present disclosure is applicable not only to concrete vibrators, but also to mixers (electrically-driven work equipment) used to mix paint and the like. [Explanation of symbols]
