Description

[Technical field]

[0001] An embodiment of the present invention relates to a compressor and an air conditioner including the compressor. [Background technology]

[0002] A compressor that compresses a refrigerant is mounted on a refrigeration cycle device such as an air conditioner. The compressor includes, as main elements, an electric motor unit that rotates a rotating shaft, a compression mechanism unit connected to the electric motor unit via the rotating shaft, and an airtight container that houses the electric motor unit and the compression mechanism unit. The electric motor unit includes, for example, a so-called inner rotor type motor, and includes a rotor fixed to the rotating shaft and a stator fixed to the inner periphery of the airtight container. The rotating shaft has a crank portion (eccentric portion). The compression mechanism unit includes, for example, a cylinder that forms a cylinder chamber, and a roller that is fitted to the eccentric portion of the rotating shaft and rotates eccentrically within the cylinder chamber. The inside of the cylinder chamber is divided by vanes into a suction chamber for the refrigerant and a compression chamber. The rotating shaft is rotatably supported by a bearing. The bearing has a flange portion that defines one surface of the rotating shaft in the axial direction in the cylinder chamber, and a boss portion that extends cylindrically from the flange portion. In addition, a muffler is attached to the bearing to suppress pulsation and noise caused by the refrigerant compressed in the cylinder of the compression mechanism and discharged into the sealed container. [0004] The flange portion is provided with a discharge port for discharging the refrigerant compressed in the cylinder into the sealed container, and a discharge valve mechanism for controlling the opening and closing of the discharge port. For this reason, the flange portion has a recess (dug-in portion) in the vicinity of the discharge port, to which the discharge valve mechanism is attached. The dug-in portion is formed by digging a surface of the bearing in the axial direction of the rotating shaft, for example, the upper surface of the flange portion, to a predetermined depth. For this reason, the dug-in portion is thinner than other parts of the flange portion, and the rigidity of the bearing is likely to be relatively low. Therefore, when the rotating shaft rotates, the dug-in portion may elastically deform, for example, so as to tilt the boss portion relative to the flange portion. Depending on the degree of deformation of the dug-in portion, the support rigidity of the rotating shaft by the bearing may decrease, and the rotating shaft may bend and vibrate, increasing noise. [Means for solving the problem]

[0005] A compressor according to one embodiment includes a cylinder, a rotating shaft, a bearing, and a discharge valve mechanism. The cylinder compresses a refrigerant. The rotating shaft has an eccentric portion disposed in the cylinder. The bearing has a flange portion that defines one surface of the rotating shaft in the axial direction of the cylinder, and a boss portion that is continuous with the flange portion and extends in a cylindrical shape concentric with the rotating shaft to rotatably support the rotating shaft. The discharge valve mechanism is disposed on the flange portion and has a discharge valve that deforms and opens when the refrigerant compressed in the cylinder reaches a predetermined discharge pressure, and is elongated in a predetermined direction, and a valve guard that suppresses further deformation when the discharge valve opens. The valve guard has a main body portion that is elongated along the longitudinal direction of the discharge valve, and a fixing portion that protrudes from the main body portion in a direction intersecting the longitudinal direction of the discharge valve and is fixed to the bearing. The fixing portion has a first piece that is fixed to the flange portion, and a second piece that is configured continuous with the first piece and is fixed to the boss portion. DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENTS

[0007] Hereinafter, the embodiment will be described with reference to FIGS.

[0008] (First embodiment) 1 is a refrigeration cycle circuit diagram of an air conditioner 1 according to this embodiment. The air conditioner 1 is a device that performs air conditioning using this refrigeration cycle, and is an example of a refrigeration cycle device. The air conditioner 1 includes, as main elements, a compressor 2, a four-way valve 3, an outdoor heat exchanger 4, an outdoor blower 40, an expansion device 5, an indoor heat exchanger 6, and an indoor blower 60.

[0009] As shown in Fig. 1, the discharge side of the compressor 2 is connected to a first port 3a of a four-way valve 3. A second port 3b of the four-way valve 3 is connected to an outdoor heat exchanger 4. The outdoor heat exchanger 4 is connected to an indoor heat exchanger 6 via an expansion device 5. The indoor heat exchanger 6 is connected to a third port 3c of the four-way valve 3. A fourth port 3d of the four-way valve 3 is connected to the suction side of the compressor 2 via an accumulator 8.

[0010] The refrigerant circulates through a circulation circuit 7 that runs from the discharge side of the compressor 2 through an outdoor heat exchanger 4, an expansion device 5, an indoor heat exchanger 6, and an accumulator 8 to the suction side. The refrigerant is preferably a chlorine-free refrigerant, and examples of the refrigerant that can be used include R448A, R449A, R449B, R407G, R407H, R449C, R456A, R516A, R406B, R463A, R744, and HC-based refrigerants.

[0011] For example, when the air conditioner 1 operates in cooling mode, the four-way valve 3 switches so that the first port 3a communicates with the second port 3b and the third port 3c communicates with the fourth port 3d. When the air conditioner 1 starts operating in cooling mode, high-temperature, high-pressure gas-phase refrigerant compressed by the compressor 2 is discharged into the circulation circuit 7. The discharged gas-phase refrigerant passes through the four-way valve 3 and is guided to the outdoor heat exchanger 4, which functions as a condenser (heat radiator).

[0012] The gas-phase refrigerant guided to the outdoor heat exchanger 4 condenses through heat exchange with the air (outdoor air) drawn by the outdoor blower 40, and changes to a high-pressure liquid-phase refrigerant. The high-pressure liquid-phase refrigerant is reduced in pressure while passing through the expansion device 5, and changes to a low-pressure gas-liquid two-phase refrigerant. The gas-liquid two-phase refrigerant is guided to the indoor heat exchanger 6 that functions as an evaporator (heat absorber), and exchanges heat with the air (indoor air) drawn by the indoor blower 60 while passing through the indoor heat exchanger 6.

[0013] As a result, the gas-liquid two-phase refrigerant absorbs heat from the air and evaporates, changing into a low-temperature, low-pressure gas-phase refrigerant. The air passing through the indoor heat exchanger 6 is cooled by the latent heat of evaporation of the liquid-phase refrigerant, and is sent as cool air by the indoor blower 60 to the place to be air-conditioned (cooled).

[0014] The low-temperature, low-pressure gas-phase refrigerant that has passed through the indoor heat exchanger 6 is guided to the accumulator 8 via the four-way valve 3. If the refrigerant contains liquid-phase refrigerant that has not completely evaporated, it is separated into liquid-phase refrigerant and gas-phase refrigerant here. The low-temperature, low-pressure gas-phase refrigerant separated from the liquid-phase refrigerant is sucked from the accumulator 8 into the compressor 2, where it is compressed again into high-temperature, high-pressure gas-phase refrigerant and discharged into the circulation circuit 7.

[0015] On the other hand, when the air conditioner 1 operates in the heating mode, the four-way valve 3 switches so that the first port 3a communicates with the third port 3c and the second port 3b communicates with the fourth port 3d. When the air conditioner 1 starts operating in the heating mode, the high-temperature, high-pressure gas-phase refrigerant discharged from the compressor 2 is guided via the four-way valve 3 to the indoor heat exchanger 6, where it exchanges heat with the air passing through the indoor heat exchanger 6. In this case, the indoor heat exchanger 6 functions as a condenser.

[0016] As a result, the gas-phase refrigerant passing through the indoor heat exchanger 6 condenses by exchanging heat with the air (indoor air) drawn in by the indoor blower 60, and changes to a high-pressure liquid-phase refrigerant. The air passing through the indoor heat exchanger 6 is heated by the heat exchange with the gas-phase refrigerant, and is sent as hot air by the indoor blower 60 to the place to be air-conditioned (heated).

[0017] The high-temperature liquid-phase refrigerant that has passed through the indoor heat exchanger 6 is guided to the expansion device 5, and is reduced in pressure while passing through the expansion device 5, changing into a low-pressure two-phase gas-liquid refrigerant. The two-phase gas-liquid refrigerant is guided to the outdoor heat exchanger 4, which functions as an evaporator, and evaporates by exchanging heat with air (outdoor air) sucked in by the outdoor blower 40, changing into a low-temperature, low-pressure gas-phase refrigerant. The low-temperature, low-pressure gas-phase refrigerant that has passed through the outdoor heat exchanger 4 is sucked into the compressor 2 via the four-way valve 3 and the accumulator 8, and is compressed again by the compressor 2 into a high-temperature, high-pressure gas-phase refrigerant and discharged into the circulation circuit 7.

[0018] In this embodiment, the air conditioner 1 is capable of operating in either cooling mode or heating mode, but the air conditioner 1 may also be, for example, a cooling-only machine or a heating-only machine that is capable of operating in only either cooling mode or heating mode.

[0019] Next, a specific configuration of the compressor 2 used in the air conditioner 1 will be described with reference to Fig. 2. Fig. 2 is a vertical cross-sectional view of the compressor 2. As shown in Fig. 2, the compressor 2 is a so-called vertical rotary compressor (rotary compressor), and includes, as main elements, a sealed container 10, a compression mechanism unit 11, and an electric motor unit 12. In the following description, the side where the compression mechanism unit 11 is located is defined as the bottom, and the side where the electric motor unit 12 is located is defined as the top, based on the relative positional relationship between the compression mechanism unit 11 and the electric motor unit 12 aligned along the central axis O1 of the sealed container 10 described below.

[0020] The sealed container 10 has a cylindrical peripheral wall 10a and stands vertically relative to the installation surface. The installation surface may be, for example, the bottom plate of an outdoor unit. A discharge pipe 10b is provided at the upper end of the sealed container 10. The discharge pipe 10b is connected to the first port 3a of the four-way valve 3 via the circulation circuit 7. An oil reservoir 10c for storing lubricating oil is provided at the bottom of the sealed container 10.

[0021] The compression mechanism 11 is accommodated in the lower part of the sealed container 10 so as to be immersed in the lubricating oil. In the example shown in Fig. 2, the compression mechanism 11 has a twin-type cylinder structure, and includes a first cylinder 13, a second cylinder 14, and a rotating shaft 15 as main elements. The first cylinder 13 and the second cylinder 14 each have a roller (rolling piston) and a vane therein. The number of cylinders in the compression mechanism is not limited to two, and may be one or three or more.

[0022] The first cylinder 13 is fixed to the inner peripheral surface of the peripheral wall 10a of the sealed container 10. The second cylinder 14 is fixed to the lower surface of the first cylinder 13 via a partition plate 18.

[0023] A first bearing 20 is fixed above the first cylinder 13. The first bearing 20 covers the inner diameter portion of the first cylinder 13 from above and protrudes toward the upper side of the first cylinder 13. The space surrounded by the inner diameter portion of the first cylinder 13, the partition plate 18, and the first bearing 20 constitutes a first cylinder chamber. The partition plate 18 corresponds to a closing member that defines the lower surface of the first cylinder chamber, and the first bearing 20 corresponds to a closing member that defines the upper surface of the first cylinder chamber.

[0024] A second bearing 22 is fixed below the second cylinder 14. The second bearing 22 covers the inner diameter portion of the second cylinder 14 from below and protrudes downward from the second cylinder 14. A space surrounded by the inner diameter portion of the second cylinder 14, the partition plate 18, and the second bearing 22 constitutes a second cylinder chamber. The partition plate 18 corresponds to a closing member that defines the upper surface of the second cylinder chamber, and the second bearing 22 corresponds to a closing member that defines the lower surface of the second cylinder chamber. The first cylinder chamber and the second cylinder chamber are arranged concentrically with the central axis O1 of the sealed container 10.

[0025] The first cylinder chamber and the second cylinder chamber are connected to the accumulator 8 via a suction pipe (not shown) which is a part of the circulation circuit 7. The gas phase refrigerant separated from the liquid phase refrigerant in the accumulator 8 is guided to the first cylinder chamber and the second cylinder chamber through the suction pipe.

[0026] The rotating shaft 15 has an axis positioned coaxially with the central axis O1 of the sealed container 10, and penetrates the first cylinder chamber, the second cylinder chamber, and the partition plate 18. The rotating shaft 15 has a first journal portion 27a, a second journal portion 27b, and a pair of crank pin portions (eccentric portions) 28a, 28b. That is, the rotating shaft 15 is configured as a crankshaft. The first journal portion 27a is rotatably supported by the first bearing 20. The second journal portion 27b is rotatably supported by the second bearing 22.

[0027] Furthermore, the rotating shaft 15 has an extension portion 27c coaxially extending from the first journal portion 27a. The extension portion 27c penetrates the first bearing 20 and protrudes above the compression mechanism portion 11. A rotor 33 of the electric motor portion 12, which will be described later, is fixed to the extension portion 27c.

[0028] The eccentric portions 28a, 28b are located between the first journal portion 27a and the second journal portion 27b. The eccentric portions 28a, 28b have a phase difference of, for example, 180 degrees, and have the same amount of eccentricity with respect to the central axis O1 of the sealed container 10. One eccentric portion (hereinafter referred to as the first eccentric portion) 28a is housed in the first cylinder chamber. The other eccentric portion (hereinafter referred to as the second eccentric portion) 28b is housed in the second cylinder chamber.

[0029] The rollers 16 and 17 are fitted to the outer peripheral surfaces of the first eccentric portion 28a and the second eccentric portion 28b, respectively. A small gap is provided between the inner peripheral surfaces of the rollers 16 and 17 and the outer peripheral surfaces of the eccentric portions 28a and 28b to allow the rollers 16 and 17 to rotate relative to the eccentric portions 28a and 28b. As a result, when the rotating shaft 15 rotates, the rollers 16 and 17 rotate eccentrically within the cylinder chamber, and a part of the outer peripheral surface of the rollers 16 and 17 comes into contact with the inner peripheral surface of the cylinder chamber via an oil film.

[0030] Vanes (not shown) are disposed in the first cylinder 13 and the second cylinder 14, respectively. The vanes are supported by the cylinders 13, 14 in a state where they are biased radially inward by a biasing means. The tip of each vane is slidably pressed against the outer circumferential surface of the rollers 16, 17. These vanes cooperate with the rollers 16, 17 to divide the cylinder chambers of the cylinders 13, 14 into a suction chamber and a compression chamber, respectively, and move (advance and retreat) in a direction protruding into the cylinder chamber or retracting from the cylinder chamber with the eccentric rotation of the rollers 16, 17. As the vanes advance and retreat relative to the cylinder chambers in this way, the volumes of the suction chamber and compression chamber of the cylinder chamber change, and the gas-phase refrigerant sucked into the cylinder chamber from the above-mentioned suction pipe is compressed.

[0031] The high-temperature, high-pressure gas-phase refrigerant compressed in each cylinder chamber of the first cylinder 13 and the second cylinder 14 is discharged into the sealed container 10 via discharge valve mechanisms 21, 23 described below. The discharged gas-phase refrigerant rises inside the sealed container 10. Furthermore, while the compression mechanism 11 is in operation, the lubricating oil stored in the oil reservoir 10c of the sealed container 10 is agitated. The agitated lubricating oil turns into mist and rises inside the sealed container 10 toward the discharge pipe 10b along with the flow of the gas-phase refrigerant. An oil separator and the like that separates the lubricating oil contained in the gas-phase refrigerant rising inside the sealed container 10 is incorporated in the sealed container 10.

[0032] The electric motor unit 12 is accommodated in an intermediate portion along the central axis O1 of the sealed container 10 so as to be located between the compression mechanism unit 11 and the discharge pipe 10b. The electric motor unit 12 includes a so-called inner rotor type motor, and is provided with a rotor 33 fixed to the rotating shaft 15, and a stator 34 fixed to the inner peripheral surface of the peripheral wall 10a of the sealed container 10. When a voltage is applied from a power source to the electric motor unit 12, the rotor 33 rotates about the central axis O1 relative to the stator 34, and the rotating shaft 15 rotates together with the rotor 33. The rotating shaft 15 is rotatably supported by two bearings 20, 22.

[0033] Of the two bearings 20, 22, one is a main bearing (hereinafter referred to as a first bearing) 20, and the other is a sub-bearing (hereinafter referred to as a second bearing) 22. The first bearing 20 and the second bearing 22 each rotatably support the rotating shaft 15. The first bearing 20 defines the upper surface of the first cylinder chamber in the first cylinder 13, and the second bearing 22 defines the lower surface of the second cylinder chamber in the second cylinder 14. The upper surface is an end surface on one end side of the cylinders 13, 14 in the axial direction of the rotating shaft 15 (direction along the central axis O1 of the sealed container 10), and the lower surface is an end surface on the other end side of the cylinders 13, 14 in the same direction. In other words, the first bearing 20 corresponds to a member that closes the first cylinder chamber from above, and the second bearing 22 corresponds to a member that closes the second cylinder chamber from below.

[0034] The first bearing 20 has a first flange portion 20a that defines the upper surface of the first cylinder chamber in the first cylinder 13, and a first boss portion 20b that is continuous with the first flange portion 20a and extends upward in a cylindrical shape.

[0035] The first flange portion 20a is located at the lower end of the first boss portion 20b, extends radially outward from the first boss portion 20b, and continues around the entire circumference in a circular shape concentric with the axis of the rotary shaft 15. The first flange portion 20a is formed with a discharge hole (hereinafter referred to as the first discharge hole) 20c (see FIG. 4) for discharging the refrigerant from the compression chamber of the first cylinder 13. The first discharge hole 20c penetrates a part of the first flange portion 20a vertically and communicates with the inside of the compression chamber of the first cylinder 13. The first discharge hole 20c is opened and closed by a predetermined valve mechanism (hereinafter referred to as the first discharge valve mechanism) 21. The first discharge valve mechanism 21 is disposed in the first flange portion 20a, and opens the first discharge hole 20c as the pressure in the compression chamber of the first cylinder 13 rises, discharging the high-temperature, high-pressure gas-phase refrigerant from the compression chamber.

[0036] The first boss portion 20b is a portion of the first bearing 20 through which the rotating shaft 15, specifically the first journal portion 27a, is inserted to rotatably support the rotating shaft 15. The first boss portion 20b is disposed concentrically with the rotating shaft 15. That is, the first boss portion 20b is disposed perpendicular to the first flange portion 20a. When the first journal portion 27a is inserted into the first boss portion 20b, the outer peripheral surface of the first journal portion 27a slides against the inner peripheral surface of the first boss portion 20b.

[0037] The second bearing 22 has a second flange portion 22a that defines the lower surface of the second cylinder chamber in the second cylinder 14, and a second boss portion 22b that is continuous with the second flange portion 22a and extends downward in a cylindrical shape.

[0038] The second flange portion 22a is located at the upper end of the second boss portion 22b, extends radially outward from the second boss portion 22b, and continues around the entire circumference in a circular shape concentric with the axis of the rotary shaft 15. The second flange portion 22a is formed with a discharge hole (not shown; hereinafter, referred to as the second discharge hole) for discharging the refrigerant from the compression chamber of the second cylinder 14. The second discharge hole penetrates a part of the second flange portion 22a vertically and communicates with the inside of the compression chamber of the second cylinder 14. The second discharge hole is opened and closed by a predetermined valve mechanism (hereinafter, referred to as the second discharge valve mechanism) 23. The second discharge valve mechanism 23 opens the second discharge hole in response to a pressure rise in the compression chamber of the second cylinder 14, and discharges the high-temperature, high-pressure gas-phase refrigerant from the compression chamber.

[0039] The second boss portion 22b is a portion of the second bearing 22 through which the rotating shaft 15, specifically the second journal portion 27b, is inserted and rotatably supported. The second boss portion 22b is disposed concentrically with the rotating shaft 15. That is, the second boss portion 22b is disposed perpendicular to the second flange portion 22a. When the second journal portion 27b is inserted into the second boss portion 22b, the outer peripheral surface of the second journal portion 27b slides against the inner peripheral surface of the second boss portion 22b.

[0040] A muffler (hereinafter referred to as the first muffler) 41 that covers the first bearing 20 is provided above the first bearing 20. The first muffler 41 suppresses pulsation and noise caused by the refrigerant discharged from the compression chamber of the first cylinder 13 into the sealed container 10, for example. The first muffler 41 covers the first bearing 20 so as to surround the area between the first flange portion 20a and the first boss portion 20b, and forms a first muffler chamber 43 between the first flange portion 20a and the first boss portion 20b. The first muffler chamber 43 is a space into which the high-temperature and high-pressure refrigerant compressed in the compression chamber of the first cylinder 13 is first discharged from the first discharge hole 20c. The first muffler 41 has a communication hole 41a that communicates the inside and outside (up and down) of the first muffler 41. The high-temperature, high-pressure gas-phase refrigerant discharged into the first muffler chamber 43 through the first discharge hole 20c is discharged into the sealed container 10 through the communication hole 41a.

[0041] A muffler (hereinafter, referred to as the second muffler) 42 that covers the second bearing 22 is provided below the second bearing 22. The second muffler 42 suppresses pulsation and noise caused by the refrigerant discharged from the compression chamber of the second cylinder 14 into the sealed container 10, for example. The second muffler 42 covers the second bearing 22 so as to surround the area between the second flange portion 22a and the second boss portion 22b, and forms a second muffler chamber 44 between the second flange portion 22a and the second boss portion 22b. The second muffler chamber 44 is a space into which the high-temperature and high-pressure refrigerant compressed in the compression chamber of the second cylinder 14 is first discharged from the second discharge hole. The second muffler chamber 44 communicates with the first muffler chamber 43 through a through hole provided in the compression mechanism portion 11. The introduction hole penetrates second flange portion 22a, second cylinder 14, partition plate 18, first cylinder 13, and first flange portion 20a, respectively, and opens into second muffler chamber 44 and first muffler chamber 43. The high-temperature, high-pressure gas-phase refrigerant discharged into second muffler chamber 44 through the second discharge hole reaches first muffler chamber 43 through the introduction hole, and is then discharged into sealed container 10 through communication hole 41a.

[0042] 3 to 5 show the configuration of the first discharge valve mechanism 21. FIG. 3 is a perspective view that shows a schematic view of the first bearing 20 including the first discharge valve mechanism 21. FIG. 4 is a perspective view that shows a schematic view of the state in which only a discharge valve 21a, described later, of the first discharge valve mechanism 21 shown in FIG. 3 is arranged. FIG. 5 is a cross-sectional view that shows a schematic view of the first bearing 20.

[0043] 3 to 5, the first discharge valve mechanism 21 is provided on the first flange portion 20a of the first bearing 20, and appropriately opens the first discharge hole 20c to discharge the refrigerant compressed in the compression chamber of the first cylinder 13 from the compression chamber. The first discharge valve mechanism 21 includes a discharge valve 21a and a valve holder 21b.

[0044] The first discharge hole 20c opens to the bottom of a recess (hereinafter referred to as a dug portion) 20d formed in the first flange portion 20a. The dug portion 20d is formed by dug a predetermined depth into an upper surface (an end surface on one end side in the axial direction of the rotating shaft 15) 20e of the first flange portion 20a. In other words, the dug portion 20d is formed in the first flange portion 20a as a recess for assembling the first discharge valve mechanism 21.

[0045] The recessed portion 20d has a first portion 24 and a second portion 25 each extending longitudinally in a predetermined direction.

[0046] The first portion 24 is a recess in the recessed portion 20d to which the discharge valve 21a and the main body 211 of the valve holder 21b of the first discharge valve mechanism 21, which will be described later, are attached. Therefore, the first portion 24 is formed with a depth and contour that allows the discharge valve 21a and the main body 211 of the first discharge valve mechanism 21 to be attached. The contour is the shape of the outline of the first portion 24 as seen from above the first flange portion 20a. In this embodiment, when attached to the first portion 24, the discharge valve 21a and the valve holder 21b are immersed in the first portion 24. In addition, the recess corresponding to the first portion 24 has the bottom of the recessed portion 20d where the first discharge hole 20c opens.

[0047] On the other hand, the second portion 25 is a recess in the recessed portion 20d to which a fixing portion 212 (described later) of the valve guard 21b of the first discharge valve mechanism 21 is attached. Therefore, the second portion 25 is formed with a depth and contour that allows the fixing portion 212 of the first discharge valve mechanism 21 to be attached. The contour is the shape of the outline of the second portion 25 as viewed from above the first flange portion 20a. The second portion 25 is also disposed adjacent to and above the first portion 24.

[0048] The first portion 24 and the second portion 25 are disposed so that their longitudinal directions cross each other. In the example shown in Figs. 3 to 5, the first portion 24 and the second portion 25 have their longitudinal directions perpendicular to each other. The longitudinal direction of the second portion 25 is the radial direction of the first flange portion 20a, in other words, a direction perpendicular to the axis of the rotating shaft 15 on a plane including the axis of the rotating shaft 15. The longitudinal direction of the first portion 24 is a direction perpendicular to the radial direction of the first flange portion 20a, in other words, a direction perpendicular to the plane including the axis of the rotating shaft 15.

[0049] The discharge valve 21a is a member for closing or opening the first discharge hole 20c, and is in the form of a plate elongated in a predetermined direction. The discharge valve 21a is formed in a strip shape from an elastically deformable material such as spring steel. One end of the discharge valve 21a in the longitudinal direction is fixed to the first flange portion 20a by a fastener 21c. As the fastener 21c, any fastener such as a bolt, a screw, or a rivet is applied. As a result, the discharge valve 21a has a cantilevered leaf spring structure in which one end in the longitudinal direction fixed by the fastener 21c is a fixed end and the other end in the longitudinal direction is a free end, and is capable of bending and deforming. Specifically, the discharge valve 21a is deformed when the high-temperature and high-pressure gas-phase refrigerant compressed in the compression chamber of the first cylinder 13 reaches a predetermined discharge pressure, and opens the first discharge hole 20c. Hereinafter, this state of the discharge valve 21a is referred to as a deformed state. In a state before the first discharge hole 20c is opened (hereinafter, referred to as a normal state), the discharge valve 21a is in pressure contact with the periphery of the first discharge hole 20c so as to close the first discharge hole 20c with an elastic force (pushing force) smaller than the predetermined discharge pressure. Therefore, when the refrigerant exceeds the atmospheric pressure in the first muffler 41 and reaches a predetermined discharge pressure, the discharge valve 21a deforms against the elastic force (pushing force) to open the first discharge hole 20c and discharge the refrigerant. When the first discharge hole 20c is opened to discharge the refrigerant and the discharge pressure of the refrigerant falls below the predetermined pressure, the discharge valve 21a elastically returns from the deformed state to the normal state and closes the first discharge hole 20c again.

[0050] 6 and 7 show the valve holder 21b in a schematic manner. The valve holder 21b is a member for restricting deformation of the discharge valve 21a, and has a main body 211 and a fixed part 212. In this embodiment, as shown in FIGS. 6 and 7, the main body 211 and the fixed part 212 of the valve holder 21b are configured as separate members. That is, the valve holder 21b is configured by assembling the main body 211 and the fixed part 212, which are separate members. FIG. 6 is a perspective view showing the main body (hereinafter referred to as the valve holder piece) 211 of the valve holder 21b in a schematic manner. FIG. 7 is a perspective view showing the fixed part (hereinafter referred to as the fixed piece) 212 of the valve holder 21b in a schematic manner.

[0051] As shown in Figs. 3 to 6, the valve holding piece 211 is elongated in a predetermined direction and has a plate-like shape that is thicker than the discharge valve 21a. The valve holding piece 211 is an element that mainly functions to restrict the deformation of the discharge valve 21a in the valve holder 21b. The valve holding piece 211 is formed of, for example, a steel material. The valve holding piece 211 is arranged with its longitudinal direction aligned with the longitudinal direction of the discharge valve 21a. That is, the valve holding piece 211 is elongated along the longitudinal direction of the discharge valve 21a. These longitudinal directions are directions that intersect with the radial direction of the first flange portion 20a, in other words, directions that intersect with a plane including the axis of the rotating shaft 15. In addition, these longitudinal directions are parallel to the longitudinal direction of the first portion 24 of the recessed portion 20d. 3 to 5, the longitudinal direction is a direction perpendicular to the radial direction of the first flange portion 20a, in other words, a direction perpendicular to a plane including the axis of the rotating shaft 15. In other words, the longitudinal direction of the valve holding piece 211 is parallel to a direction perpendicular to the plane including the axis of the rotating shaft 15. One longitudinal end of the valve holding piece 211 is fixed to the first flange portion 20a by a fixing device 21c together with the discharge valve 21a. The valve holding piece 211 has a through hole 211a through which the fixing device 21c is inserted.

[0052] The valve holding piece 211 is disposed so as to face the discharge valve 21a in the process of the discharge valve 21a being displaced to a position away from the first discharge hole 20c when the first discharge hole 20c is opened. In the example shown in Fig. 3 and Fig. 5, the valve holding piece 211 is disposed above the discharge valve 21a so as to cover the discharge valve 21a. The valve holding piece 211 is curved back so as to follow the discharge valve 21a in a bent (floated) state to open the first discharge hole 20c, that is, in a deformed state (see Fig. 6). As a result, when the discharge valve 21a is bent and deformed to open the first discharge hole 20c, the valve holding piece 211 comes into contact with the deformed discharge valve 21a and suppresses further deformation (floating) of the discharge valve 21a.

[0053] The fixed piece 212 is fixed to the first bearing 20 and supports the valve holding piece 211, while reinforcing the strength of the first flange portion 20a at the recessed portion 20d. In the example shown in Fig. 7, the fixed piece 212 is a separate member from the valve holding piece 211. As shown in Figs. 3, 5 and 7, the fixed piece 212 is elongated in a predetermined direction and is configured as a member that is thicker than the discharge valve 21a, similar to the valve holder 21b. The fixed piece 212 is formed of, for example, the same steel material as the valve holding piece 211.

[0054] The fixing piece 212 has a first piece 30a and a second piece 30b. The first piece 30a and the second piece 30b are continuous at a right angle. A reinforcing part 30c is provided at the continuous part to fill the gap between the first piece 30a and the second piece 30b at an angle.

[0055] The first piece 30a is a portion of the fixed piece 212 that is fixed to the first flange portion 20a. The first piece 30a is in the shape of a long plate along the upper surface 20e of the first flange portion 20a. The first piece 30a protrudes from the valve holding piece 211 in the longitudinal direction of the discharge valve 21a, in other words, in a direction intersecting the longitudinal direction of the valve holding piece 211. The first piece 30a is arranged such that its longitudinal direction is along the radial direction of the first flange portion 20a, in other words, along a direction perpendicular to the axis of the rotating shaft 15 on a plane including the axis of the rotating shaft 15. That is, the longitudinal direction of the first piece 30a is parallel to the direction perpendicular to the axis of the rotating shaft 15 on a plane including the axis of the rotating shaft 15, that is, the longitudinal direction of the second portion 25 of the dug-in portion 20d.

[0056] The first piece 30a has a seat 30d that supports the valve holding piece 211. The seat 30d is a flat surface formed by providing a step at a portion that can face the valve holding piece 211 with respect to other portions. The seat 30d contacts the valve holding piece 211 from above, and holds down and supports the valve holding piece 211. The first piece 30a also has a through hole 30e through which a bolt 31a is inserted. The bolt 31a is an example of a fastener for fixing the first piece 30a to the first flange portion 20a. As shown in FIG. 4, the first flange portion 20a has a through hole 20f through which the bolt 31a is inserted. The through hole 20f communicates with the through hole 30e. 2, in this embodiment, the first piece 30a is fastened together with the first muffler 41 by a bolt 31a to the first cylinder 13 via the first flange portion 20a. The first muffler 41 has a through hole 41b through which the bolt 31a is inserted. This eliminates the need for a bolt for fastening the first piece 30a in addition to the bolt for fastening the first muffler 41, and also eliminates the need for space for fastening the bolt.

[0057] As shown in FIG. 3, FIG. 5, and FIG. 7, the second piece 30b is a part of the fixing piece 212 that is fixed to the first boss portion 20b. The second piece 30b extends along the outer periphery of the first boss portion 20b. The second piece 30b is disposed so as to extend upward along the outer periphery of the first boss portion 20b, in other words, along the axis of the rotating shaft 15. In the example shown in FIG. 3, FIG. 5, and FIG. 7, the second piece 30b is thicker than the first piece 30a. The second piece 30b has a through hole 30f through which the bolt 31b is inserted. The bolt 31b is an example of a fixing tool for fixing the second piece 30b to the first boss portion 20b. The first boss portion 20b has a seat portion 20g that supports the second piece 30b. The seating surface portion 20g is a flat surface portion formed by providing a step on the outer peripheral portion of the first boss portion 20b that can face the second arm portion 30b with respect to other portions. As shown in Fig. 4, the seating surface portion 20g has a bolt hole 20h for fastening the bolt 31b. The bolt hole 20h communicates with the through hole 30f.

[0058] 5, the fixed piece 212 is fixed to the first bearing 20 at two locations, one each on the first flange portion 20a and the first boss portion 20b. In other words, the fixed piece 212 is fixed to the first flange portion 20a by the bolt 31a in a direction along the axis of the rotating shaft 15, and is fixed to the first boss portion 20b by the bolt 31b in a direction along the radial direction of the rotating shaft 15. In this fixed state, the fixed piece 212 is disposed so as to be perpendicular to the valve holding piece 211, and supports the valve holding piece 211 along the radial direction of the first flange portion 20a, in other words, along a direction perpendicular to the axis on a plane including the axis of the rotating shaft 15.

[0059] Thus, according to this embodiment, when the rotating shaft 15 rotates, the force that elastically deforms the dug portion 20d so as to tilt the first boss portion 20b relative to the first flange portion 20a can be borne by the fixing piece 212. That is, the fixing piece 212 functions as a reinforcing member that increases the strength of the first flange portion 20a in the dug portion 20d. This makes it possible to suppress the elastic deformation of the dug portion 20d, and suppress deformation such as tilting the first boss portion 20b relative to the first flange portion 20a. As a result, it becomes possible to reduce noise caused by bending vibration of the rotating shaft 15, for example.

[0060] Here, the configuration of the second discharge valve mechanism 23 can be substantially the same as that of the first discharge valve mechanism 21, except for the difference due to the fact that the second discharge valve mechanism 23 and the first discharge valve mechanism 21 are located upside down. However, in the second discharge valve mechanism 23, the member corresponding to the fixed piece 212 may be omitted. This is for the following reason. As shown in FIG. 2, the second boss portion 22b of the second bearing 22 has a shorter length in the axial direction of the rotating shaft 15 than the first boss portion 20b of the first bearing 20. That is, the second boss portion 22b is unlikely to deform so as to be tilted with respect to the second flange portion 22a, and even if it does deform, it is not deformed as much as the first boss portion 20b. Therefore, in the second discharge valve mechanism 23, the member corresponding to the fixed piece 212 can be omitted. Taking these factors into consideration, the second discharge valve mechanism 23 can be configured in the same manner as the first discharge valve mechanism 21, except for the fact that it does not have a component equivalent to the fixed piece 212 and the differences associated with the fact that the top and bottom are positioned upside down.

[0061] The form of the fixed piece 212 in the first discharge valve mechanism 21 is merely one example of the fixed portion of the valve holder, and is not limited to the above-mentioned first embodiment (examples shown in Figs. 3, 5, and 7). Therefore, even if the fixed portion has another form, it is possible to make it function as a reinforcing member that increases the strength of the first flange portion 20a in the recessed portion 20d. Hereinafter, such another form of the fixed portion will be described as the second embodiment and the third embodiment. Note that the basic components of the compressors according to the second embodiment and the third embodiment are similar to the compressor 2 according to the first embodiment (Fig. 2). Therefore, in the following, the description of the basic components of such a compressor will be omitted or simplified, and differences from the first embodiment, which are the characteristics of the second embodiment and the third embodiment, will be described in detail. In this case, the same reference symbols will be used for components that are the same or similar to those in the first embodiment.

[0062] Second embodiment 8 to 11 show the configuration of the discharge valve mechanism according to this embodiment. This discharge valve mechanism is a valve mechanism (hereinafter, referred to as a first discharge valve mechanism 51) corresponding to the first discharge valve mechanism 21 according to the first embodiment. FIG. 8 is a perspective view that shows a first bearing 50 including the first discharge valve mechanism 51. The first bearing 50 is a main bearing corresponding to the first bearing according to the first embodiment. FIG. 9 is a perspective view that shows a state in which only the discharge valve 21a is arranged in the first discharge valve mechanism 51 in FIG. 8. FIG. 10 is a cross-sectional view that shows a schematic of the first bearing 50. FIG. 11 is a perspective view that shows a schematic of a fixed piece 70 that is a fixed portion of the valve guard 21b in the first discharge valve mechanism 51.

[0063] As shown in FIG. 8 to FIG. 10, the first discharge valve mechanism 51 is provided in the first flange portion 20a of the first bearing 50, and appropriately opens the first discharge hole 20c to discharge the refrigerant compressed in the compression chamber of the first cylinder 13 from the compression chamber. The first discharge valve mechanism 51 includes a discharge valve 21a and a valve holder 21b. The first discharge valve mechanism 51 is assembled to a dug portion 20d formed in the first flange portion 20a. As in the first embodiment, the dug portion 20d is formed by digging the upper surface 20e of the first flange portion 20a to a predetermined depth, and has a first portion 24 and a second portion 25 each having a length in a predetermined direction. Similarly, the first discharge hole 20c opens to the bottom of the dug portion 20d.

[0064] In the first discharge valve mechanism 51, the configurations of the discharge valve 21a and the valve holder piece 211 of the valve holder 21b are similar to those in the first embodiment. The fixed piece 70 is a fixing portion of the valve holder 21b in the first discharge valve mechanism 51. The fixed piece 70 is fixed to the first bearing 50, supports the valve holder piece 211, and reinforces the strength of the first flange portion 20a at the recessed portion 20d. As shown in Figs. 8, 10, and 11, the fixed piece 70 is elongated in a predetermined direction and is configured as a member thicker than the discharge valve 21a, similar to the valve holder piece 211, separately from the valve holder piece 211. That is, the valve holder 21b is configured by assembling the valve holder piece 211 and the fixed piece 70, which are separate members. In this respect, it is similar to the valve holder 21b according to the first embodiment. However, unlike the fixed piece 212, the fixed piece 70 has only a portion corresponding to the first piece portion 30a, and does not have a portion corresponding to the second piece portion 30b or a portion corresponding to the reinforcing portion 30c.

[0065] The fixed piece 70 is a long plate-like member along the upper surface 20e of the first flange portion 20a. The fixed piece 70 is arranged with its longitudinal direction aligned with the radial direction of the first flange portion 20a, in other words, aligned with a direction perpendicular to the axis of the rotating shaft 15 on a plane including the axis of the rotating shaft 15. That is, the longitudinal direction of the fixed piece 70 is parallel to the direction perpendicular to the axis of the rotating shaft 15 on a plane including the axis of the rotating shaft 15, that is, the longitudinal direction of the second portion 25 of the recessed portion 20d. The fixed piece 70 has a seat portion 70a that supports the valve holding piece 211. The seat portion 70a is a flat surface portion formed by providing a step at a portion that can face the valve holding piece 211 with respect to other portions. The seat portion 70a contacts the valve holding piece 211 from above and holds down and supports the valve holding piece 211. Furthermore, the fixing piece 70 has through holes 70b, 70c through which the bolts 71a, 71b are inserted. The bolts 71a, 71b are an example of fasteners for fixing the fixing piece 70 to the first flange portion 20a. As shown in Fig. 9, the second portion 25 of the recessed portion 20d has a through hole 20f through which the bolt 71a is inserted and a bolt hole 20i for fastening the bolt 71b.

[0066] As shown in FIG. 8, FIG. 10, and FIG. 11, the through hole 70b is disposed near one end of the fixed piece 70 in the longitudinal direction, and the through hole 70c is disposed near the other end of the fixed piece 70 in the longitudinal direction. In this embodiment, the through hole 70b is located radially outward of the first flange portion 20a and communicates with the through hole 20f. The through hole 70c is located radially inward of the first flange portion 20a and communicates with the bolt hole 20i. In this embodiment, the fixed piece 70 is fastened together with the first muffler 41 to the first cylinder 13 via the first flange portion 20a by the bolt 71a. This point is the same as the fixed piece 212 according to the first embodiment. Meanwhile, unlike the first embodiment, the fixed piece 70 is also fixed to the first flange portion 20a by the bolt 71b.

[0067] 10, the fixed piece 70 is fixed to the first bearing 20 at two locations on the first flange portion 20a. In other words, the fixed piece 70 is fixed to the first flange portion 20a by bolts 71a and 71b in a direction along the axis of the rotating shaft 15. In this fixed state, the fixed piece 70 is disposed so as to be perpendicular to the valve holding piece 211, similar to the fixed piece 212, and supports the valve holding piece 211 in the radial direction of the first flange portion 20a, in other words, in a direction perpendicular to the axis on a plane including the axis of the rotating shaft 15.

[0068] As described above, according to this embodiment, when the rotating shaft 15 rotates, for example, the force that elastically deforms the dug portion 20d so as to tilt the first boss portion 20b relative to the first flange portion 20a can be borne by the fixing piece 70. That is, the fixing piece 70 can function as a reinforcing member that increases the strength of the first flange portion 20a in the dug portion 20d. This makes it possible to suppress the elastic deformation of the dug portion 20d and the tilt deformation of the first boss portion 20b, and to reduce, for example, noise generated by bending vibration of the rotating shaft 15.

[0069] For the same reasons as in the first embodiment described above, the valve mechanism of this embodiment, which corresponds to the second discharge valve mechanism 23, can omit the member corresponding to the fixed piece 70. In this case, this valve mechanism can be configured in the same way as the first discharge valve mechanism 51, except for the fact that it does not include a member corresponding to the fixed piece 70 and the difference associated with being upside down.

[0070] (Third embodiment) 12 to 15 show the configuration of the discharge valve mechanism according to this embodiment. This discharge valve mechanism is a valve mechanism (hereinafter, referred to as a first discharge valve mechanism 81) corresponding to the first discharge valve mechanism 21 according to the first embodiment. FIG. 12 is a perspective view that shows a schematic diagram of a first bearing 80 including the first discharge valve mechanism 81. The first bearing 80 is a main bearing corresponding to the first bearing according to the first embodiment. FIG. 13 is a perspective view that shows a schematic diagram of a state in which only the discharge valve 21a is arranged in the first discharge valve mechanism 81 in FIG. 12. FIG. 14 is a cross-sectional view that shows a schematic diagram of the first bearing 80. FIG. 15 is a perspective view that shows a schematic diagram of a valve holder 90 in the first discharge valve mechanism 81.

[0071] As shown in FIG. 12 to FIG. 15, the first discharge valve mechanism 81 is provided in the first flange portion 20a of the first bearing 80, and appropriately opens the first discharge hole 20c to discharge the refrigerant compressed in the compression chamber of the first cylinder 13 from the compression chamber. The first discharge valve mechanism 81 includes a discharge valve 21a and a valve holder 90. The first discharge valve mechanism 81 is assembled to a dug portion 20d formed in the first flange portion 20a. As in the first embodiment, the dug portion 20d is formed by digging the upper surface 20e of the first flange portion 20a to a predetermined depth, and has a first portion 24 and a second portion 26 each having a length in a predetermined direction. The first portion 24 and the second portion 26 are arranged so that their longitudinal directions cross each other. In the example shown in FIG. 12 to FIG. 14, the first portion 24 and the second portion 26 are arranged so that their longitudinal directions are perpendicular to each other. The longitudinal direction of the second portion 26 is the radial direction of the first flange portion 20a, in other words, the direction perpendicular to the axis on a plane including the axis of the rotating shaft 15. The longitudinal direction of the first portion 24 is the direction perpendicular to the radial direction of the first flange portion 20a, in other words, the direction perpendicular to the plane including the axis of the rotating shaft 15. The first discharge hole 20c opens at the bottom of the dug portion 20d.

[0072] In the first discharge valve mechanism 81, the shape of the discharge valve 21a is similar to that in the first embodiment. 15, the valve guard 90 has a main body portion 91 and a fixing portion 92, which are configured as a single integral member. In other words, the main body portion 91 and the fixing portion 92 each correspond to a part of the valve guard 90 configured as a single member.

[0073] The main body 91 is a plate-like member extending along the upper surface 20e of the first flange 20a. The longitudinal direction of the main body 91 is along the longitudinal direction of the discharge valve 21a. The main body 91 is disposed so that its longitudinal direction is perpendicular to the radial direction of the first flange 20a, in other words, perpendicular to the plane including the axis of the rotary shaft 15. That is, the longitudinal direction of the main body 91 is parallel to the direction perpendicular to the plane including the axis of the rotary shaft 15, that is, the longitudinal direction of the first portion 24 of the recessed portion 20d. One end of the longitudinal direction of the main body 91 is fixed to the first flange 20a together with the discharge valve 21a by the fixing device 21c. The main body 91 also has a through hole 91a through which the fixing device 21c is inserted.

[0074] The fixing portion 92 is a portion that extends continuously from the main body portion 91 and is fixed to the first bearing 80. In the example shown in FIG. 15, the fixing portion 92 is a pair, and each of them protrudes in the opposite directions from the vicinity of the middle part of the main body portion 91 in the longitudinal direction. That is, the fixing portion 92 protrudes from the main body portion 91 in the longitudinal direction of the discharge valve 21a, in other words, in a direction intersecting the longitudinal direction of the main body portion 91. Each of the fixing portions 92a, 92b is continuous with the main body portion 91 at a right angle. The fixing portions 92a, 92b are arranged in the radial direction of the first flange portion 20a, in other words, along a direction perpendicular to the axis of the rotating shaft 15 on a plane including the axis of the rotating shaft 15. That is, the protruding direction of the fixing portions 92a, 92b, or more specifically, the longitudinal direction of the fixing portion 92, is perpendicular to the axis of the rotating shaft 15 on a plane including the axis of the rotating shaft 15, i.e., parallel to the longitudinal direction of the second portion 26 of the recessed portion 20d.

[0075] The fixing parts 92a, 92b have through holes 90a, 90b through which the bolts 93a, 93b are inserted. The bolts 93a, 93b are an example of fasteners for fastening the fixing parts 92a, 92b to the first flange part 20a. As shown in FIG. 13, the second part 26 of the recessed part 20d has bolt holes 20j, 20k for fastening the bolts 93a, 93b. The through hole 90a is disposed in the fixing part 92a, and the through hole 90b is disposed in the fixing part 92b. In this embodiment, the through hole 90a is located radially outward of the first flange part 20a and communicates with the bolt hole 20j. The through hole 90b is located radially inward of the first flange part 20a and communicates with the bolt hole 20k.

[0076] 14, the fixing portion 92 is fixed to the first bearing 80 at two locations on the first flange portion 20a. In other words, the fixing portion 92 is fixed to the first flange portion 20a by bolts 93a and 93b in a direction along the axis of the rotating shaft 15. In this fixed state, the fixing portion 92 is disposed perpendicular to the main body portion 91 and supports the main body portion 91 along the radial direction of the first flange portion 20a, in other words, along a direction perpendicular to the axis on a plane including the axis of the rotating shaft 15. That is, the valve guard 90 is supported along the radial direction of the first flange portion 20a, in other words, along a direction perpendicular to the axis on a plane including the axis of the rotating shaft 15.

[0077] As described above, according to this embodiment, when the rotating shaft 15 rotates, for example, the force that elastically deforms the dug portion 20d so as to tilt the first boss portion 20b relative to the first flange portion 20a can be borne by the fixing portion 92. That is, the valve holder 90 can function as a reinforcing member that increases the strength of the first flange portion 20a in the dug portion 20d. This makes it possible to suppress the elastic deformation of the dug portion 20d and the tilt deformation of the first boss portion 20b, and to reduce, for example, noise generated by bending vibration of the rotating shaft 15.

[0078] For the same reasons as in the first embodiment described above, in the valve mechanism of this embodiment corresponding to the second discharge valve mechanism 23, the portion corresponding to the fixed portion 92 of the valve holder 90 can be omitted. In this case, this valve mechanism can be configured in the same manner as the first discharge valve mechanism 81, except for the difference that it does not have a fixed portion corresponding to the fixed portion 92 and that it is positioned upside down.

[0079] Although each embodiment of the present invention has been described above, these embodiments are presented as examples and are not intended to limit the scope of the invention. These novel embodiments can be implemented in various other forms, and various omissions, substitutions, and modifications can be made without departing from the gist of the invention.
