Description

[Technical field]

[0001] The present invention relates to a hair cosmetic composition, and more particularly to a hair cosmetic composition suitable for use as a hair rinse, a hair conditioner, or a hair treatment. [Background technology]

[0002] After washing the hair with shampoo or the like, hair cosmetics such as hair rinse, hair conditioner, hair treatment, etc. are generally used. These hair cosmetics exhibit various conditioning effects, such as improving the combability of the hair, imparting a glossy feel, and imparting a moist feel to the hair.

[0003] Patent Document 1 discloses a hair cosmetic containing an ester of neopentanoic acid and a branched alcohol having 10 to 13 carbon atoms. This hair cosmetic has the effect of improving finger-combability similar to silicone, but is insufficient in terms of hair gloss.

[0004] Patent Document 2 discloses a hair cosmetic that combines amidoamine, higher alcohol, hydrogenated castor oil fatty acid ester, and α-hydroxy acid. This hair cosmetic imparts good finger-combability and gloss, but the volume of the hair after drying is insufficient. As a method for solving the problem of hair volume, Patent Document 3 discloses a hair cosmetic that combines polyglycerin, sorbitan fatty acid ester, and aromatic alcohol. This hair cosmetic can impart manageability and firmness to hair, and can also impart a volume-increasing effect.

[0005] However, most hair cosmetics are designed for long hair, and when used on short hair, the hair is less likely to be entangled and the lifting effect is less likely to be achieved, so sufficient effects are not always obtained. Therefore, there is a demand for hair cosmetics that can give short hair a voluminous look. [Prior art documents] [Patent documents]

[0006] [Patent Document 1] JP 2005-306786 A [Patent Document 2] JP 2015-174831 A [Patent Document 3] JP 2017-88515 A Summary of the Invention [Problem to be solved by the invention]

[0007] In view of the above problems, the present invention aims to provide a hair cosmetic composition which, when applied, smooths the surface of hair, imparts gloss and smoothness to the hair after drying, and also gives a voluminous finish to even short hair. [Means for solving the problem]

[0008] The present inventors have conducted intensive research in light of the above problems and have found that by combining predetermined amounts of the specific components (A) to (C) below, it is possible to obtain a hair cosmetic composition that not only smoothes the surface of hair and imparts shine and smoothness to the hair after drying, but also gives even short hair a voluminous finish.

[0009] That is, the present invention provides a hair cosmetic composition comprising (A) 0.1 to 10 mass% of an ester compound of a fatty acid having 12 to 22 carbon atoms and hydrogenated castor oil, (B) 0.1 to 10 mass% of an ester oil of a fatty acid having 8 to 22 carbon atoms or rosin acid and a tetra- to hexa-hydric and 5 to 10 carbon atom polyhydric alcohol, and (C) 0.1 to 10 mass% of an alkylene oxide derivative represented by the following general formula (1): Z-[O(AO)m(BO)nH]a Formula (1) (In formula (1), Z is Selected from glycerin, trimethylolpropane, erythritol, pentaerythritol, sorbitan, and alkyl glycosides. All compounds Watera is a residue excluding an acid group, and a is 3 or 4. AO is an oxyalkylene group having 2 or 3 carbon atoms, and m is the average number of moles of the AO added per one hydroxyl group, which is 2 to 30. BO is an oxyalkylene group having 4 carbon atoms, and n is the average number of moles of the BO added per one hydroxyl group, which is 0 to 3. Effect of the Invention

[0010] The hair cosmetic composition of the present invention, when applied, not only smoothes the surface of the hair and gives the hair shine and smoothness to the fingers after drying, but also gives even short hair a voluminous finish. DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENTS

[0011] Hereinafter, an embodiment of the present invention will be described. In this specification, a numerical range defined using the symbol "~" is intended to include both the upper and lower limits of the range. For example, "2~5" means 2 or more and 5 or less.

[0012] The hair cosmetic composition of the present invention contains at least (A) an ester compound of a fatty acid having 12 to 22 carbon atoms and hydrogenated castor oil, (B) an ester oil of a fatty acid having 8 to 22 carbon atoms or rosin acid and a tetrahydric to hexahydric and 5 to 10 carbon atom polyhydric alcohol, and (C) an alkylene oxide derivative represented by general formula (1). Each component will be described below.

[0013] [Component (A): Ester compound] The component (A) used in the present invention is an ester compound of a fatty acid having 12 to 22 carbon atoms and hydrogenated castor oil, more specifically, a compound in which one or more of the hydroxyl groups of the hydrogenated castor oil are ester-bonded to a higher fatty acid. Preferably, the compound is one in which three hydroxyl groups of the hydrogenated castor oil are ester-bonded to a fatty acid. Note that hydrogenated castor oil is obtained by hydrogenating castor oil, and is also called hydrogenated castor oil.

[0014] Examples of fatty acids that form an ester bond with hydrogenated castor oil include linear or branched saturated or unsaturated fatty acids having 12 to 22 carbon atoms, preferably 12 to 18 carbon atoms, which may have a substituent such as a hydroxyl group, and mixed fatty acids thereof. Examples include lauric acid, stearic acid, isostearic acid, hydroxystearic acid, and behenic acid. From the viewpoint of the ease of running your fingers through hair after drying, saturated fatty acids having 18 carbon atoms, such as isostearic acid, stearic acid, and hydroxystearic acid, are preferred.

[0015] In the present invention, products commercially available as cosmetic raw materials can be used as component (A). Specific products include "Castride TIS-P" (hydrogenated castor oil triisostearate, manufactured by National Mimatsu Co., Ltd.) and "Lithocasta MIS" (hydrogenated castor oil isostearate, manufactured by Kokyu Alcohol Kogyo Co., Ltd.).

[0016] As the component (A) above, one type selected from various ester compounds that can be formed from a fatty acid having 12 to 22 carbon atoms and hydrogenated castor oil can be used alone, or two or more types can be used in combination.

[0017] The content of the component (A) is 0.1 to 10% by mass, preferably 0.5 to 8% by mass, and more preferably 1 to 5% by mass, based on the total amount of the hair cosmetic composition. If the content of the component (A) is too low, the smoothness and volume of the hair after drying may be insufficient, whereas if the content of the component (A) is too high, the volume of the hair after drying may decrease.

[0018] [Component (B): Ester oil] The component (B) used in the present invention is an ester oil of a fatty acid or rosin acid having 8 to 22 carbon atoms and a polyhydric alcohol having 4 to 6 valences and 5 to 10 carbon atoms. Examples of fatty acids having 8 to 22 carbon atoms include linear or branched, saturated or unsaturated fatty acids having 8 to 22 carbon atoms, preferably 16 to 22 carbon atoms, which may have a substituent such as a hydroxyl group, and mixed fatty acids thereof. Examples include ethylhexanoic acid, capric acid, lauric acid, myristic acid, palmitic acid, isopalmitic acid, macadamia nut fatty acid, stearic acid, isostearic acid, hydroxystearic acid, oleic acid, behenic acid, etc. Preferred are stearic acid and hydroxystearic acid. Rosin acid is a carboxylic acid derived from the natural amber-colored resin obtained from pine trees, and is a mixture of carboxylic acids with three ring structures and conjugated double bonds. As the component (B) used in the present invention, either an ester derived from a fatty acid having 8 to 22 carbon atoms or an ester derived from rosin acid can be used alone, but an ester of a mixed carboxylic acid of a fatty acid having 8 to 22 carbon atoms and rosin acid with a polyhydric alcohol is preferred.

[0019] Examples of polyhydric alcohols having 4 to 6 valences and 5 to 10 carbon atoms include pentaerythritol, dipentaerythritol, and sorbitol.

[0020] Specific examples of the ester oil of component (B) include pentaerythrityl (behenic acid / polyhydroxystearate), pentaerythrityl rosinate, dipentaerythrityl hexa(hydroxystearate / stearic acid / rosin acid), and dipentaerythrityl tri-polyhydroxystearate.

[0021] In the present invention, products commercially available as cosmetic raw materials can be used as component (B). Specific examples of such products include "Esterol DP-HR" (dipentaerythrityl hexa(hydroxystearic acid / stearic acid / rosin acid), manufactured by National Mimatsu Co., Ltd.).

[0022] As the component (B) above, one type selected from various ester oils that can be formed from a fatty acid or rosin acid having 8 to 22 carbon atoms and a polyhydric alcohol having 4 to 6 valences and 5 to 10 carbon atoms can be used alone, or two or more types can be used in combination.

[0023] The content of the component (B) is 0.1 to 10% by mass, preferably 0.5 to 8% by mass, more preferably 1 to 6% by mass, and even more preferably 1 to 4% by mass, based on the total amount of the hair cosmetic. If the content of the component (B) is too low, the smoothness and volume of the hair after drying may be insufficient, whereas if the content of the component (B) is too high, the volume of the hair after drying may be reduced.

[0024] [Component (C): alkylene oxide derivative] The component (C) used in the present invention is an alkylene oxide derivative represented by the following general formula (1): In formula (1), Z is a residue obtained by removing all hydroxyl groups from a compound (Z(OH)a) having 3 or 4 hydroxyl groups, and a is the valence of the hydroxyl groups in the compound (Z(OH)a). Z-[O(AO)m(BO)nH]a Formula (1)

[0025] The compound (Z(OH)a) is preferably a hydroxyl group-containing hydrocarbon, more preferably a hydroxyl group-containing saturated hydrocarbon, for example, glycerin or trimethylolpropane when a=3, or erythritol, pentaerythritol, sorbitan, alkyl glycoside, diglycerin, or a mixture thereof when a=4. If a is less than 3, the volume after drying may be insufficient, and if a is more than 4, the hair may feel sticky after drying and the volume may decrease.

[0026] AO is an oxyalkylene group having 2 or 3 carbon atoms, and is either or both of an oxyethylene group and an oxypropylene group. When the alkylene oxide derivative represented by the general formula (1) contains both an oxyethylene group and an oxypropylene group, the alkylene oxide derivative is a random copolymer in which these oxyalkylene groups are randomly polymerized. m is the average number of moles added per one hydroxyl group of at least one of the oxyethylene group and the oxypropylene group, and is from 2 to 30, and preferably from 2 to 20. If m is too large, the sense of volume may be insufficient.

[0027] BO is an oxyalkylene group having 4 carbon atoms, which is added in the form of a block to the terminal of the alkylene oxide derivative represented by the general formula (1). Examples of the oxyalkylene group BO having 4 carbon atoms include an oxy(1-ethyl)ethylene group derived from 1,2-butylene oxide, an oxy(1,1-dimethyl)ethylene group, and a tetramethylene group, with the oxy(1-ethyl)ethylene group being more preferred. Examples of compounds that provide an oxyalkylene group having 4 carbon atoms include 1,2-butylene oxide, 2,3-butylene oxide, and tetramethylene oxide (tetrahydrofuran). From the standpoints of availability and ease of reaction control, 1,2-butylene oxide is preferred. n is the average number of moles of the BO added per one hydroxyl group and is 0 to 3.

[0028] The alkylene oxide derivative represented by the above general formula (1) can be produced by a known method. For example, when n is not 0, it can be obtained by addition-polymerizing ethylene oxide and / or propylene oxide to a compound having 3 or 4 hydroxyl groups, and then reacting it with, for example, butylene oxide. Note that the adjustment of m and n in the general formula (1) can be performed by adjusting the respective reaction molar ratios of ethylene oxide, propylene oxide, and alkylene oxide that gives an oxyalkylene group having 4 carbon atoms.

[0029] In the present invention, products commercially available as cosmetic raw materials can be used as component (C). Specific examples of such products include "UNILUBE 50TG-32", "WILBRIDE S-753", "WILBRIDE MG-2070", and "MACBIOBRIDE MG-10E" (all manufactured by NOF Corporation).

[0030] As the component (C) above, one type selected from various alkylene oxide derivatives encompassed by general formula (1) can be used alone, or two or more types can be used in combination.

[0031] The content of the component (C) is 0.1 to 10% by mass, preferably 0.3 to 8% by mass, and more preferably 1 to 5% by mass, based on the total amount of the hair cosmetic composition. If the content of the component (C) is too low, the gloss and volume may be insufficient, whereas if the content of the component (C) is too high, the volume may be insufficient.

[0032] [Component (D): Polymer] The hair cosmetic composition of the present invention preferably further contains, as component (D), a polymer having 2-(meth)acryloyloxyethyl phosphorylcholine and an alkyl (meth)acrylate as constituent monomers, where (meth)acryloyl represents acryloyl or methacryloyl, and (meth)acrylic acid represents acrylic acid or methacrylic acid.

[0033] The alkyl chain of the alkyl (meth)acrylate preferably has 1 to 22 carbon atoms, and more preferably 4 to 18 carbon atoms.

[0034] In the present invention, products commercially available as cosmetic raw materials can be used as component (D). Specific examples of such products include "Lipidure (registered trademark)-PMB (Ph10)" and "Lipidure (registered trademark)-NR" (both manufactured by NOF Corporation). It should be noted that "Lipidure (registered trademark)-PMB" contains a (2-methacryloyloxyethyl phosphorylcholine / butyl methacrylate) copolymer, and "Lipidure (registered trademark)-NR" contains a (2-methacryloyloxyethyl phosphorylcholine / stearyl methacrylate) copolymer.

[0035] As the component (D) above, one selected from various polymers having 2-(meth)acryloyloxyethyl phosphorylcholine and alkyl (meth)acrylate as constituent monomers can be used alone, or two or more selected from these can be used in combination.

[0036] When the hair cosmetic composition of the present invention contains component (D), the content thereof is preferably from 0.01 to 5 mass %, more preferably from 0.05 to 2 mass %, and even more preferably from 0.1 to 1 mass %, based on the total amount of the hair cosmetic composition. By containing component (D) in this amount, the smoothness, gloss and volume of the hair after drying are further improved.

[0037] [Medium] The hair cosmetic composition of the present invention may contain water and / or an organic solvent as a medium, and preferably contains water from the viewpoints of solubility of other ingredients and economic efficiency. Examples of the organic solvent include lower alkanols such as ethanol, aromatic alcohols such as benzyl alcohol, and polyols such as ethylene glycol. One selected from these organic solvents may be used alone, or two or more may be used in combination.

[0038] The content of the medium in the hair cosmetic composition of the present invention is preferably 70 to 99 mass %, more preferably 75 to 99 mass %, and even more preferably 80 to 95 mass %, from the viewpoints of solubility of other ingredients and economic efficiency.

[0039] [Other ingredients] In addition to the above-mentioned components, the hair cosmetic of the present invention can appropriately contain components generally contained in hair cosmetics, so long as the effects of the present invention are not impaired. Examples of such components include surfactants other than those mentioned above, oily components, higher alcohols, sugars, amino acids, preservatives, antioxidants, antibacterial agents, fragrances, pH adjusters, various drugs, etc. If necessary, one selected from the above components can be contained alone, or two or more can be contained in combination. The content of other components can be set according to the amount usually used in cosmetics, etc. depending on the purpose, but is usually 25% by mass or less, preferably 0.1 to 20% by mass, and more preferably 0.5 to 18% by mass.

[0040] [Form and dosage form] The hair cosmetic composition of the present invention may be in any of a variety of forms, including liquid, gel, paste, cream, wax, etc., but is preferably in a liquid form using water or a lower alcohol, particularly water, as a solvent. The hair cosmetic composition of the present invention may be in the form of a pump spray, aerosol spray, pump foam, aerosol foam, gel, lotion, etc.

[0041] [How to use] The hair cosmetic composition of the present invention may be applied to dry hair or to wet hair. From the viewpoint of the object of the present invention, such as imparting a glossy feel, it is preferable to apply it to wet hair, in particular hair after washing. The hair cosmetic composition of the present invention is not particularly limited to the hairstyle to which it is applied, but since the hair cosmetic composition of the present invention has the effect of making even short hair look voluminous, it is preferably applied to hairstyles whose ends do not reach the shoulders, such as very short, short, and bob hair. After applying the hair cosmetic composition of the present invention to hair, the hair cosmetic composition is massaged into the entire hair as necessary, or is blended into the hair using a tool such as a finger comb, a brush, or a hair brush, and is left to stand for several seconds to several minutes. The temperature during the leaving is preferably room temperature (1 to 35°C), more preferably normal temperature (15 to 25°C), and may be heated to 40 to 60°C using a heater as necessary. After leaving, the hair cosmetic composition is washed off with water, preferably normal temperature water or warm water of 10 to 60°C. The hair is then towel-dried, and if necessary, dried using a hair dryer. EXAMPLES
