Abstract

To provide an image forming device that can reduce defects in which printing is performed in a state where a setting of a recording medium is mismatched in comparison with a case where opening and closing of a recording medium storage part performed after printing is performed previously until printing is performed this time is not taken into consideration.SOLUTION: An image forming device 10 comprises: a recording medium storage part 28 that stores a recording medium; a memorizing part that memorizes information on the recording medium stored in the recording medium storage part 28, and on which printing is performed previously; a sensing part 30 that senses opening and closing of the recording medium storage part; a comparing part that compares setting-information on the recording medium which is set this time with the information on the recording medium memorized in the memorizing part, under the condition that the sensing part 30 senses that the recording medium storage part 28 is not opened from when printing is performed previously until printing is performed this time; and an output part 26 that outputs a result of comparison performed by the comparing part.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
