Abstract

To provide a sample storage device which can realize an efficient movement of a sample stage.SOLUTION: A sample storage device 1 includes: a body part 2 including a sample stage 5, a heat sink 7, and a peltier element 6 interposed between the sample stage 5 and the heat sink 7; and a planar member 3 which is aligned with the body part 2 such that it partially separates a space S1 containing the sample stage 5 from a space S2 containing the heat sink 7, and is movable in a parallel direction.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
