Abstract

This application discloses a data transmission method and related device. The method includes, in a projection scenario, a first device displaying a first user interface of a first application running on the first device in a first display area of ​​a display and a second user interface displayed by a second device in a second display area of ​​the display. The second user interface includes one or more file objects. A user may drag a first file object from the second user interface onto the first user interface and release it so that the second device transmits the first file object to the first device. The first device then stores the first file object and provides the first application with the first file object for processing. In an embodiment of this application, application data on one device can be directly shared with an application on another device without multiple user interface switches, improving data sharing efficiency.
