Abstract
To surely synchronize time of all of hosts in accordance with a delay of a transmission channel.SOLUTION: A master host 40 transmits a clock in a forward direction, and measures a delay time of an entire annular transmission channel from a time when it is returned to the master host 40 via a plurality of slave hosts 50a to 50c on the annular transmission channel. The master host 40 transmits a pulse in a forward direction and transmits the pulse in a reverse direction. Each of the slave hosts 50a to 50c receives the pulse transmitted in the forward direction (or the reverse direction) from the master host 40, then measures a time period until the pulse transmitted from the master host 40 in the reverse direction (or the forward direction) is received, calculates a delay time with respect to the master host 40 in the forward direction from the time measured, and adjusts a stepping clock in accordance with the delay time.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
