Abstract

To manage secondary battery swelling prevention with high accuracy to make it possible to obtain an optimal end-of-charge voltage value corresponding to the performance of a secondary battery by a simple method based on the temperature and charge rate of the secondary battery and a pre-set calculation formula.SOLUTION: A charging control device includes a charging control unit that sets an end-of-charge voltage value so that the end-of-charge voltage value at which a secondary battery is charged decreases in steps as a count value increases on the basis of the magnitude of the count value accumulated in a storage unit. An arithmetic unit that calculates the count value sets one or more arithmetic formulas for calculating the count value of the secondary battery on the basis of the temperature and charge rate detected from the secondary battery, and calculates the count value to as many digits after the decimal point as possible using the arithmetic formulas.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
