Abstract

To provide an audio processing unit, an audio processing method and a non-temporary medium for decoding a bit stream.SOLUTION: There is provided a method by a decoder of decoding an encoded audio bitstream containing program loudness metadata and audio data, which includes: adaptive loudness processing of audio data of audio program indicated by the bitstream; or processing to perform authentication and / or validation of the metadata and / or audio data of such audio program.
