Abstract

The present invention provides a secondary battery comprising an electrode assembly, a pouch that houses the electrode assembly and has a gas exhaust port, a first adhesive that adhesively seals the gas exhaust port and breaks the adhesive when pressure inside the pouch increases, thereby opening the gas exhaust port, and a self-healing adhesive that adhesively reseals the opened gas exhaust port to prevent gas from being discharged from the gas exhaust port.
