Abstract

To provide a thread-piercing rectangular-column body unit for a textile machine splicer, and a method of manufacturing a thread-piercing rectangular-column body unit for a splicer.SOLUTION: A thread-piercing rectangular-column body unit for a textile machine splicer includes a thread-piercing rectangular-column body unit 1 whose constituent members are assured particularly in their correct positioning and positional adjustments, allowed to be assembled simply and freely of adhesive, and eliminated of necessities for corrections and adjustments of the constituent members following the positional adjustments, thus eliminating the non-sealability in the thread-piercing rectangular-column body unit 1 and damages to the constituent members due to incorrect handling or insufficient positional adjustments during assembling. In order to provide a method of manufacturing a textile machine and a thread-piercing rectangular-column body unit 1 for a splicer, the thread-piercing rectangular-column body unit 1 has a base body 4 formed by plastic injection molding and a thread-piercing rectangular-column body 5 at least partially embedded in a base body at least partially surrounded due to injection molding of a plastic by the plastic.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
