Abstract

To provide a carbonaceous material and a manufacturing method thereof, capable of high-speed pre-doping and also satisfying high capacity, high initial efficiency and high cycle durability at the same time.SOLUTION: A carbonaceous material has a pore volume obtained by conducting grand-canonical Monte Carlo simulation of an adsorption and desorption isothermal curve of carbon dioxide of 0.05 cm3 / g or over and 0.20 cm3 / g or under, a ratio of the desorption amount and the adsorption amount under a relative pressure of 0.01 in the adsorption and desorption isothermal curve is 1.05 or over, and a mesopore volume obtained by BJH method is 3.7 mm3 / g or over and 41 mm3 / g or under.SELECTED DRAWING: None
