Abstract

In a glass for vehicles (1), an opening part, a far-infrared ray transmissive region (B) which is arranged in the opening part and has a far-infrared ray transmissive member provided therein, and a visible light transmissive region (C) through which visible light can pass are formed in a light-blocking region (A2). As observed in a first direction toward a lower edge part (1b) from an upper edge part (1a) of the glass for vehicles (1), the opening part is formed between the upper edge part (1a) and a first position (P1) of which the distance from the upper edge part (1a) is 30% of the length between the upper edge part (1a) and the lower edge part (1b); as observed in a second direction toward a side edge part (1d) from a side edge part (1c) of the glass for vehicles (1), the opening part is formed between a second position (P2) and a third position (P3), wherein the length (L2a) between the second position (P2) and the third position (P3) as observed in the second direction is 55% of the length (L2) between the side edge part (1c) and the side edge part (1d); and the length of the longest straight line among straight lines each connecting arbitrary two points located on a plane on the vehicle exterior side is 80 mm or shorter.
