Abstract
Description
[Technical field]
[0001] The present invention relates to a thermal insulation construction method and a thermal insulation construction device for constructing a thermal insulation layer on a tank surface or the like. [Background technology]
[0002] Conventionally, cryogenic tanks are widely used to store cryogenic liquids such as liquefied natural gas (LNG), liquefied ethylene gas (LEG), and liquefied petroleum gas (LPG). In order to prevent the cryogenic liquid stored inside the cryogenic tank from being heated by external heat, a thermal insulation layer made of foam or the like may be applied to the tank surface as a thermal insulation material. For example, the thermal insulation layer is formed on the outer peripheral surface of a storage tank for storing cryogenic liquid, or in the case of a double-shell tank equipped with a liquid barrier, the thermal insulation layer is applied to the inner surface as a cold and heat resistance mitigation material to protect the outer tank, which serves as the liquid barrier, from low-temperature brittleness.
[0003] A known construction machine for constructing a thermal barrier layer includes a molding device having a discharge port for discharging a foam concentrate, a guide rail, and a lifting device for raising and lowering the molding device along the guide rail (see, for example, Patent Documents 1 and 2). The construction machines disclosed in Patent Documents 1 and 2 can form a thermal barrier layer along the height direction of the tank by raising and lowering the molding device with the lifting device while discharging the foam concentrate onto the construction surface.
[0004] There is also known a method of forming a heat insulating layer by discharging a foam concentrate from a discharge device onto the surface of a tank while rotating the tank, as shown in Patent Document 3. According to the method described in Patent Document 3, a heat insulating layer can be formed along the circumferential direction of the tank by rotating the tank. [0005] [Patent Document 1] JP 2008-240808 A [Patent Document 2] JP 2015-40580 A [Patent Document 3] JP 2020-164234 A Summary of the Invention [Problem to be solved by the invention]
[0006] The thermal insulation layer used as a thermal insulation material for tanks is generally formed by reacting and foaming a reactive hardening foam concentrate such as polyurethane. When using a reactive hardening foam concentrate, it is necessary to increase the reactivity during construction in order to develop sufficient adhesive strength between the thermal insulation layer and the construction surface, and it is necessary to keep the construction surface at a certain temperature or higher.
[0007] However, the application of thermal insulation materials is often carried out at the site, such as the installation location of a tank. On-site application is subject to large changes in environmental temperature. For example, application at a site in winter may result in insufficient reaction and insufficient adhesive strength being exerted between the thermal insulation layer and the application surface. For this reason, the use of hot air heaters to heat the treatment surface has been considered; however, there is a limit to how much heat a hot air heater can provide, and depending on the treatment conditions, such as when the treatment surface has a large thermal capacity or when the treatment area is not sealed, it can be difficult to sufficiently raise the temperature of the treatment surface.
[0008] Therefore, an object of the present invention is to form a heat insulating layer that has high adhesion to the application surface by appropriately heating the application surface to increase the reactivity of the foam concentrate. [Means for solving the problem]
[0009] The present invention relates to the following items [1] to
[10] . [1] The treatment surface is heated by an electromagnetic induction heater. [3] A heat insulation construction method for performing heat insulation construction as described in [1] or [2] above, in which the foam concentrate is ejected onto the heated construction surface by moving the construction surface. [4] A heat insulation construction method for performing heat insulation construction according to any one of the above [1] to [3], in which the electromagnetic induction heater is advanced toward the construction surface and positioned at a fixed distance from the construction surface, and the construction surface is heated by the electromagnetic induction heater spaced at a fixed distance. [5] A heat insulation construction method for performing heat insulation construction according to any one of the above [1] to [4], in which a spacing member protruding toward the construction surface side beyond the electromagnetic induction heater is abutted against the construction surface, thereby separating the electromagnetic induction heater from the construction surface at a fixed distance, and heating the construction surface by the electromagnetic induction heater separated by the fixed distance. Effect of the Invention
[0010] In the present invention, by appropriately heating the application surface, the reactivity of the foam concentrate can be increased, and a heat insulating layer that has high adhesion to the application surface can be formed. [Brief description of the drawings]

[0012] [First embodiment] First, with reference to FIG. 1, a representative example of a tank 10 to which a thermal insulation layer is applied using a thermal insulation application device in the first embodiment will be briefly described. As shown in FIG. 1, the tank 10 is a double-shell tank and includes an inner tank 11 and an outer tank 12. The tank 10 is a tank for storing low-temperature liquid such as LNG, LEG, or LPG. The outer tank 12 includes, for example, a cylindrical side wall 13 and a ceiling 14, and a thermal insulation layer 15 constituting a thermal insulation material is applied, for example, to an inner circumferential surface 13A of the side wall 13. The inner circumferential surface 13A of the side wall 13 is provided with a metal plate that can be heated by dielectric heating, such as an iron plate or a stainless steel plate, as a liner. Between the outer circumferential surface 11A of the inner tank 11 and the inner circumferential surface 13A of the outer tank 12, there is usually a space A, in which glass wool or the like is applied.
[0013] The heat insulating layer 15 is preferably a reactive hardening foam, such as urethane foam, phenol foam, and styrene foam. From the viewpoints of ease of production and hardening speed, urethane foam and phenol foam are preferred, and urethane foam is more preferred. By using urethane foam, self-adhesiveness, foaming property, and heat insulation property are likely to be good. The thickness of the heat insulating layer 15 is not particularly limited, but is, for example, 20 to 150 mm, and preferably 30 to 100 mm. In this embodiment, a facing material (not shown) may be laminated on the surface of the heat insulating layer 15. The facing material is not particularly limited, but examples thereof include cloth materials such as glass cloth, mesh materials such as glass mesh, metal plates such as iron plates and steel plates, and plastic sheets. The thickness of the facing material is not particularly limited, but is, for example, 0.1 to 2 mm, and preferably 0.15 to 1 mm.
[0014] Next, a thermal insulation construction device and a thermal insulation construction method according to a first embodiment of the present invention will be described in detail. In the following description, the inner peripheral surface 13A of the side wall 13 of the outer layer tank 12 is the construction surface on which the thermal insulation layer is constructed. In the following description, the side on which the construction surface is provided as viewed from the thermal insulation construction device is the front, and the opposite side is the rear.
[0015] As shown in Figs. 2 and 3, the thermal insulation construction device 20 of this embodiment includes a foam concentrate discharge device 21 and an electromagnetic induction heater 30. The foam concentrate discharge device 21 is a device for discharging foam concentrate R, and has a discharge port 22 that discharges the foam concentrate R to the construction surface (inner circumferential surface 13A). The foam concentrate discharge device 21 is capable of moving the discharge port 22 in the lateral direction (perpendicular to the paper surface of Fig. 2). The electromagnetic induction heater 30 is a device that has an electromagnetic coil and heats the construction surface (inner circumferential surface 13A) by electromagnetic induction. In this embodiment, a drive control unit such as a power supply and a controller for driving and controlling the electromagnetic induction heater 30 may be mounted on a gondola 43 described later.
[0016] The foam stock solution R supplied from the foam stock solution discharge device 21 is preferably a reactive hardening type foam stock solution in order to form a heat-insulating layer. The foam stock solution R becomes a foam (heat-insulating layer) by foaming and hardening. The foam stock solution, for example, in the case of urethane foam, contains a polyisocyanate component, a polyol component, a blowing agent, a foam stabilizer, a catalyst, etc. Such a foam stock solution is prepared, for example, in the foam stock solution discharge device 21, by mixing a polyisocyanate component (second liquid) with a first liquid that is a mixture of a polyol component, a blowing agent, a foam stabilizer, a catalyst, etc.
[0017] The thermal insulation construction apparatus 20 includes a gondola 43 which is a moving device. The gondola 43 is slidably attached to a guide rail 41, and is raised and lowered by a lifting device 42. The guide rails 41 are provided as a pair in the horizontal direction, for example. As shown in FIG. 3, a reinforcing bar 47 may be placed between the pair of guide rails 41, 41. The gondola 43 is generally capable of carrying a worker who operates the thermal insulation construction apparatus 20.
[0018] The lifting device 42 is disposed above the gondola 43, and supports the gondola 43 by suspending it via a wire 44, for example, and raises and lowers the gondola 43 along the guide rail 41 by winding up and letting out the wire 44. The wire 44 is provided as a pair in the horizontal direction, for example. Also, a running mechanism 46 is provided for running in the horizontal direction along the suspension rail 45, and thus the gondola 43 can be moved in the horizontal direction by the running mechanism 46.
[0019] The gondola 43 (moving device) is equipped with the foam concentrate discharge device 21. Moreover, an electromagnetic induction heater 30 is further equipped above the foam concentrate discharge device 21 on the gondola 43. Therefore, the electromagnetic induction heater 30 can move vertically and horizontally with respect to the treatment surface together with the foam concentrate discharge device 21 (discharge port 22) as the moving device (gondola 43) of the thermal insulation treatment device 20 moves.
[0020] The heat insulation construction device 20 further includes a pressure plate 25, a winding roll 26, a supply roll 27, and a guide roller 28. The pressure plate 25, the winding roll 26, the supply roll 27, and the guide roller 28 are mounted on a gondola 43 (moving device). Therefore, the pressure plate 25, the winding roll 26, the supply roll 27, and the guide roller 28 can move vertically and horizontally with respect to the construction surface together with the foam concentrate discharge device 21 as the moving device (gondola 43) moves.
[0021] The pressing plate 25 is disposed so as to be spaced apart from the application surface (inner circumferential surface 13A), thereby forming an injection space S between the pressing plate 25 and the application surface (inner circumferential surface 13A) on the front side. The injection space S is a space into which the foam concentrate is injected. The discharge port 22 is disposed forward of the pressing plate 25, thereby being disposed above the injection space S.
[0022] The face material 17 is wound around the winding roll 26. The supply roll 27 is disposed above the pressing plate 25. The face material 17 is unwound from the winding roll 26, guided by the supply roll 27, and supplied from the upper part of the injection space S toward the injection space S. In the injection space S, the face material 17 is disposed so as to follow the inner surface 25A of the pressing plate 25. Depending on the type of face material 17, an uncoiler or the like may be provided to appropriately adjust the supply speed when the face material 17 is unwound from the winding roll 26.
[0023] The guide roller 28 is disposed so as to abut against the construction surface (inner peripheral surface 13A). When the guide roller 28 abuts against the inner peripheral surface 13A, the guide roller 28 and the pressure plate 25 are fixed to the gondola 43 so that their positional relationship with respect to the gondola 43 does not change. In other words, the guide roller 28 and the pressure plate 25 are in a state in which their positional relationship with respect to each other does not change. As a result, when the guide roller 28 is maintained in a state in which it abuts against the inner peripheral surface 13A, the distance between the inner surface 25A of the pressure plate 25 and the inner peripheral surface 13A (construction surface) becomes constant. Therefore, the distance between the inner surface 25A and the construction surface is prevented from fluctuating.
[0024] The axial direction of the guide roller 28 is horizontal, and when the guide roller 28 abuts against the inner surface 13A, it is able to rotate as the gondola 43 rises, thereby preventing unnecessary force from being applied from the guide roller 28 to the inner surface 13A. Also, it is preferable that the guide roller 28 can be switched between a fixed state and a displaceable state with respect to the gondola 43. Therefore, the guide roller 28 may be appropriately displaced with respect to the gondola 43 before being brought into contact with the inner peripheral surface 13A. By displacing the guide roller 28 and then bringing it into contact with the inner peripheral surface 13A, the distance between the inner surface 25A of the pressing plate 25 and the inner peripheral surface 13A (the application surface) can be appropriately adjusted. And, by adjusting the distance between the inner surface 25A of the pressing plate 25 and the application surface (the inner peripheral surface 13A), the thickness of the obtained heat insulating layer 15 can also be adjusted.
[0025] The electromagnetic induction heater 30 is attached to a gondola 43 (moving device) via an advancing / retreating mechanism 31. The advancing / retreating mechanism 31 is a mechanism that can move the electromagnetic induction heater 30 forward and backward, thereby allowing the electromagnetic induction heater 30 to be moved closer to or farther away from the construction surface. The thermal insulation construction device 20 also includes a spacing member 32 for spacing the electromagnetic induction heater 30 away from the construction surface. The spacing member 32 protrudes a certain distance forward of the electromagnetic induction heater 30 (i.e., toward the construction surface). Therefore, when the spacing member 32 comes into contact with the construction surface, the electromagnetic induction heater 30 is spaced a certain distance from the construction surface. The certain distance is preferably set to a distance that allows the construction surface to be efficiently heated by electromagnetic induction when a current is passed through the electromagnetic induction heater 30.
[0026] The thermal insulation construction device 20 includes a fixing member 33, and an electromagnetic induction heater 30 is attached to one surface of the fixing member 33. A spacing member 32 is further attached to the fixing member 33. In addition, an advancing / retreating mechanism 31 is connected to the fixing member 33. The advancing / retreating mechanism 31 advances / retreats the electromagnetic induction heater 30 relative to the construction surface by advancing / retreating the fixing member 33 back and forth. Therefore, when the electromagnetic induction heater 30 advances / retreats back and forth, the spacing member 32 also advances / retreats back and forth together with the electromagnetic induction heater 30. In this embodiment, the electromagnetic induction heater 30 has an elongated shape as shown in Fig. 3. Two electromagnetic induction heaters 30 are arranged vertically with their longitudinal direction aligned along the horizontal direction. However, the electromagnetic induction heater 30 may be provided in any number as long as it is one or more. Moreover, the electromagnetic induction heater 30 does not need to be arranged so that its longitudinal direction is along the horizontal direction, but may be arranged so that its longitudinal direction is along the vertical direction, or multiple electromagnetic induction heaters arranged so that their longitudinal direction is along the vertical direction may be arranged in the horizontal direction. Moreover, the electromagnetic induction heater 30 does not need to have an elongated shape, but may have any shape.
[0027] As shown in Fig. 2, for example, a plurality of spacing members 32 are provided and arranged so as to sandwich the electromagnetic induction heater 30 from above and below. The spacing members 32 are arranged on one surface of the fixing member 33 on which the electromagnetic induction heater 30 is provided. As shown in Fig. 3, a plurality of spacing members 32 are also arranged in the horizontal direction. However, it is sufficient that the spacing members 32 separate the electromagnetic induction heater 30 from the construction surface by a certain distance when the spacing members 32 come into contact with the construction surface, and the number of spacing members is not limited as long as there is one or more.
[0028] Furthermore, the spacing member 32 is a ball rotatably attached to the fixed member 33, but is not limited to a ball and may be a roller whose axial direction is horizontal. If the spacing member 32 is a ball or a roller, even if the gondola 43 rises and falls with the spacing member 32 in contact and the spacing member 32 also moves vertically, the spacing member 32 can rotate, and it is possible to prevent the spacing member 32 from applying unnecessary force to the construction surface. However, the spacing members 32 do not need to be balls or rollers, and may be, for example, blocks of resin material.
[0029] 4, the advance / retract mechanism 31 includes a support member 35 that swingably supports the fixed member 33. The support member 35 is mounted on a gondola 43 (movement device). The fixed member 33 is swingably attached to the support member 35 via link members 36A and 36B. Further, the advancing / retreating mechanism 31 includes a cylinder 37 fixed to a gondola 43 (moving device), and a wire 38 connecting the cylinder 37 and the fixed member 33. The wire 38 is supported midway by a pulley 39 and is maintained in a tensioned state. The cylinder 37 can be driven to extend and retract, and in the extended state, the fixed member 33 (i.e., the electromagnetic induction heater 30) is in an advanced state, as shown in Fig. 4(a). On the other hand, by contracting, the cylinder 37 can pull the fixing member 33 via the wire 38, and place the fixing member 33 in a retracted position as shown in Fig. 4(b). At this time, the fixing member 33 swings around the support member 35 and moves from an advanced state to a retracted state. The cylinder 37 is not particularly limited, but examples thereof include an oil cylinder that uses hydraulic pressure to advance and retract the rod, an air cylinder that uses pneumatic pressure to advance and retract the rod, and a power cylinder that electrically advances and retracts the rod. In this way, the electromagnetic induction heater 30 can be moved back and forth, and can be moved back when the heater 30 is not needed. Furthermore, even if the distance to the treatment surface varies, the electromagnetic induction heater 30 can be disposed in an appropriate position, and the treatment surface can be effectively heated by electromagnetic induction.
[0030] 5, the advancing / retreating mechanism 31 may further include chain blocks 40A, 40B. The chain blocks 40A, 40B may be arranged in positions that sandwich the wire 38 from both sides in the lateral direction. The chain blocks 40A, 40B are each fixed to a gondola 43 (moving device), and support the fixed member 33 together with the wire 38 and the support member 35. In addition, since the fixed member 33 can be manually swung by operating the chain blocks 40A, 40B, the position of the fixed member 33 (i.e., the electromagnetic induction heater 30) can be manually adjusted, and the position of the electromagnetic induction heater 30 can be adjusted more precisely.
[0031] Next, a method for applying the thermal insulation layer 15 using the thermal insulation application device 20 will be described in more detail. In applying the thermal insulation layer 15, first, as shown in Figures 2 and 6, the thermal insulation application device 20 is placed in the space A so as to form an injection space S between the pressing plate 25 and the application surface (inner circumferential surface 13A). At this time, liquid leakage prevention members 35A, 35B, and 35C are placed at the bottom and both sides of the injection space S, respectively, as shown in Figure 6, and the bottom and both sides of the injection space S are sealed by the liquid leakage prevention members 35A, 35B, and 35C. The liquid leakage prevention members 35A, 35B, and 35C are formed of, for example, tubes.
[0032] The tube is expanded by supplying air to the inside thereof using an air pump or the like, and in this expanded state, the bottom or either of both sides of the injection space S may be sealed. There are no particular limitations on the material of the tube, and a material with excellent mold release properties, such as fluororesins such as tetrafluoroethylene and difluoroethylene, or silicone resin, may be used. In addition, a surface material with excellent mold release properties, such as fluororesin or silicone resin, may be attached to the surface of the resin tube, or the surface of the resin tube may be subjected to a mold release treatment using a mold release agent such as silicone resin. Furthermore, the air tube may be a resin water supply hose reinforced with glass fiber.
[0033] The liquid leakage prevention members 35B, 35C on both sides may be suspended from, for example, an elevator device 42. The liquid leakage prevention members 35B, 35C on both sides may be fed from a tube supply mechanism (not shown) mounted on a gondola 43, and air may be injected into the liquid leakage prevention members 35B, 35C and supplied to both sides of the injection space S. The lower liquid leakage prevention member 35A may use a tube into which air has been injected beforehand.
[0034] 4(a), the fixing member 33 is advanced and the electromagnetic induction heater 30 is disposed at a position close to the surface to be worked. At this time, the spacing member 32 is abutted against the surface to be worked, so that the electromagnetic induction heater 30 and the surface to be worked are spaced at a fixed distance. Then, a current is passed through the electromagnetic induction heater 30, and the surface to be worked is heated by electromagnetic induction of the electromagnetic induction heater 30. The surface to be worked is not particularly limited, but may be heated by the electromagnetic induction heater 30 to, for example, 10 to 50°C, preferably 20 to 40°C.
[0035] With the injection space S formed as described above, the facing material 17 is supplied so as to follow the inner surface 25A of the pressing plate 25, and the foam raw liquid R is discharged onto the construction surface, thereby injecting the foam raw liquid R into the injection space S. At this time, as shown in Fig. 6, the discharge port 22 may be moved back and forth laterally. The foam raw liquid R injected into the injection space S is foamed and hardened, and is bonded to and integrated with the facing material 17 arranged so as to follow the inner surface 25A, and is also bonded to the construction surface (the inner peripheral surface 13A of the outer layer tank), forming the heat insulating layer 15 on the inner peripheral surface 13A of the outer layer tank.
[0036] Here, the gondola 43 is raised by the lifting device 42, and the foam concentrate discharge device 21 and the electromagnetic induction heater 30 are also raised together. Therefore, the discharge port 22 of the foam concentrate discharge device 21 and the electromagnetic induction heater 30 move relative to the application surface (inner circumferential surface 13A), and the foam concentrate R is continuously discharged after heating onto the application surface heated by the electromagnetic induction heater 30. Therefore, the reaction of the foam concentrate R proceeds appropriately on the application surface, and the heat insulating layer 15 is formed on the application surface with high adhesion.
[0037] The lifting device 42 continues to rise, and the thermal insulation layer 15 is formed from the bottom to the top on the inner circumferential surface 13A of the outer layer tank. The face material 17 is continuously unwound from the winding roll 26, and the face material 17 is laminated on the thermal insulation layer 15. The heat insulation layer 15 applied as described above has a length approximately equal to the width of the pressing plate 25. If the heat insulation layer 15 of that length is considered to be one row, when the formation of one row of the heat insulation layer 15 is completed, the molding device 20 is moved laterally along the hanging rail 45 together with the lifting device 42 to form the next row of the heat insulation layer 15. Then, the formation of the heat insulation layer 15 is repeated until the heat insulation layer 15 is formed around the entire circumference of the tank.
[0038] In addition, the lower liquid leakage prevention member 35A is positioned further below the lower end of the heat insulation layer 15 to be formed, and moves away from the lower end of the pressure plate 25 as the molding device 20 rises. However, as shown in Figure 7, the lower part of the injection section S is occupied by the foam raw liquid R or the heat insulation layer 15 formed by foaming, so that the foam raw liquid R does not leak from the lower part of the injection section S. Furthermore, as described above, when the first row of heat insulation layers 15 are formed, the liquid leakage prevention members 35B, 35C are arranged on both sides of the injection space S, but when the second row and subsequent rows of heat insulation layers 15 are formed, one side of the injection space S only needs to be sealed with the already formed heat insulation layer 15, so one of the liquid leakage prevention members 35B, 35C can be omitted. Furthermore, when the final row of heat insulation layers 15 are formed, both sides are sealed with the first row of heat insulation layers 15 and the row before the final row of heat insulation layers 15, so the liquid leakage prevention members 35B, 35C on both sides can be omitted. Also, for example, after forming the first row, the third row of heat insulation layers 15 are formed at a distance, and then the second row of heat insulation layers 15 are formed, so that when the second row of heat insulation layers 15 are formed, both side portions can be sealed by the already formed heat insulation layers 15. Therefore, with this method as well, both of the liquid leakage prevention members 35B and 35C can be omitted.
[0039] As described above, in the first embodiment of the present invention, the application surface is heated by the electromagnetic induction heater 30, and the foam concentrate R is ejected onto the heated application surface, so that the reaction of the foam concentrate R proceeds appropriately on the application surface, and the heat insulating layer 15 formed from the foam concentrate R can be formed on the application surface with high adhesion. In the above description, a construction method for heating the construction surface by the electromagnetic induction heater 30 has been described. However, even when a thermal insulation layer is constructed using the thermal insulation construction device according to this embodiment, the construction surface does not need to be heated by the electromagnetic induction heater 30 when the construction surface is hot in summer, for example. In such a case, it is advisable to retract the electromagnetic induction heater 30 away from the construction surface. The same applies to the second and subsequent embodiments described below.
[0040] [Second embodiment] Next, the second embodiment of the present invention will be described with respect to differences from the first embodiment. In the first embodiment, the discharge port and the electromagnetic induction heater are moved by a moving device (gondola), but in this embodiment, the processing surface is moved by a processing surface moving device. In the second to fifth embodiments described below, members having similar functions are denoted by the same reference numerals, but members denoted by the same reference numerals do not necessarily have exactly the same configuration.
[0041] Hereinafter, a thermal insulation construction device and a thermal insulation construction method according to the second embodiment will be described with reference to Figs. 8 to 10, taking as an example a case where the construction surface on which the thermal insulation layer is constructed is the outer circumferential surface of a cylindrical tank. The cylindrical tank may be an inner layer tank of a double-shell tank, but does not have to be an inner layer tank of a double-shell tank and may be a single-shell tank. The outer circumferential surface of the cylindrical tank is formed of a metal material that can be heated by dielectric heating, such as iron or stainless steel. In this embodiment, a thermal insulation layer is applied to the outer peripheral surface of a cylindrical tank, and a facing material is further laminated on the surface of the thermal insulation layer.
[0042] In this construction method, as in the first embodiment, a thermal insulation layer is constructed using a thermal insulation construction device 20 equipped with a foam concentrate discharge device 21 and an electromagnetic induction heater 30 as shown in Figs. The foam concentrate supplying device 21 has a discharge port 22, which can be moved in a horizontal direction (i.e., an axial direction X of a cylindrical tank 60, which will be described later), similarly to the first embodiment. The foam concentrate supplying device 21 is preferably mounted on a base 55, not shown.
[0043] As shown in FIG. 8, the cylindrical tank 60 is placed on the turning roll 50 so that its axial direction X is horizontal. For example, the turning roll 50 is provided with two sets of two rolls arranged along the axial direction X of the cylindrical tank 60 (i.e., the vertical direction of the paper surface in FIG. 8), and the cylindrical tank 60 is placed on the four rolls. The axial direction of each roll of the turning roll 50 coincides with the axial direction X of the cylindrical tank 60. Therefore, by rotating each roll in the same direction, the cylindrical tank 60 can be rotated around its axis, and the outer circumferential surface 60A, i.e., the working surface, can be moved. Therefore, the turning roll 50 serves as a working surface moving device for moving the working surface.
[0044] The length of each of the rolls constituting the turning roll 50 in the axial direction is sufficiently shorter than the length of the tank 10 in the axial direction X. Of course, the number of rolls of the turning roll 50 is not particularly limited and may be six, etc. In addition, the cylindrical tank 60 may be rotated by any means other than the turning roll 50 as long as the cylindrical tank 60 can be rotated around its axis.
[0045] The electromagnetic induction heater 30 is mounted on a base 55. The electromagnetic induction heater 30 is disposed above the discharge port 22 on the base 55, but may be disposed below the discharge port 22 in accordance with the rotation direction of the cylindrical tank 60. The electromagnetic induction heater 30 is attached to the base 55 via the advancing / retreating mechanism 31. The advancing / retreating mechanism 31 is a mechanism that can move the electromagnetic induction heater 30 in the forward / rearward direction, thereby enabling the electromagnetic induction heater 30 to advance toward the construction surface or move away from the construction surface. The detailed structure of the advancing / retreating mechanism 31 is as described in the first embodiment. Also, although a chain block is not shown in FIG. 8, the advancing / retreating mechanism 31 may have a chain block as in the first embodiment. The thermal insulation construction device 20 also includes a fixing member 33, and an electromagnetic induction heater 30 is attached to one surface of the fixing member 33. A spacing member 32 is further attached to one surface of the fixing member 33. In this embodiment, one electromagnetic induction heater 30 is provided, and the spacing member 32 is only provided below the electromagnetic induction heater 30, but the configuration of the electromagnetic induction heater and the spacing member is not limited to the arrangement and configuration shown in Fig. 8, as described in the first embodiment.
[0046] The thermal insulation construction device 20 further includes a pressure plate 25. The pressure plate 25 is supported, for example, on a base 55 and is installed so as to be spaced apart from the outer peripheral surface 60A of the cylindrical tank 60, thereby forming an injection space S between the pressure plate 25 and the outer peripheral surface 60A. The injection space S is a space into which the foam concentrate is injected. A discharge port 22 is disposed above the injection space S. Here, the inner surface 25A of the pressing plate 25 facing the outer peripheral surface 60A is formed into a curved surface so as to follow the outer peripheral surface 60A. This allows the distance between the outer peripheral surface 60A of the cylindrical tank 60 and the inner surface 25A of the pressing plate 25 to be constant along the circumferential direction of the cylindrical tank 60.
[0047] 8, the base 55 is provided with guide rollers 28 in the same manner as in the first embodiment, and the guide rollers 28 keep the distance between the inner surface 25A of the pressing plate 25 and the outer peripheral surface 60A of the cylindrical tank 60 constant. Therefore, for example, when the cylindrical tank 60 is rotated, the guide rollers 28 suppress fluctuations in the distance between the inner surface 25A and the outer peripheral surface 60A, making it easier to make the thickness of the thermal insulation layer 15 uniform. The axial direction of the guide rollers 28 coincides with the axial direction X of the cylindrical tank 60.
[0048] In addition to the pressing plate 25, a winding roll 26, a supply roll 27, etc. are also attached to the base 55. The face material 17 is wound around the winding roll 26. The supply roll 27 is disposed near the upper portion of the injection space S. The face material 17 is supplied so as to follow the inner surface 25A of the pressing plate 25, as in the first embodiment.
[0049] Next, the thermal insulation construction method according to this embodiment will be described in detail. First, in this embodiment, as described above, the cylindrical tank 60 is placed on the turning roll 50. Also, as shown in Figures 8 and 9, the pressing plate 25 is placed away from the outer peripheral surface 60A of the cylindrical tank 60 to form the injection space S. Also, as described above, the facing material 17 is unwound from the winding roll 26 and arranged in the injection space S so as to follow the inner surface 25A of the pressing plate 25.
[0050] At this time, as shown in FIG. 9, the liquid leakage prevention members 35A, 35B, and 35C are arranged at the bottom and both sides of the injection space S, respectively, and the bottom and both sides of the injection space S are sealed by the liquid leakage prevention members 35A, 35B, and 35C. In this embodiment, the liquid leakage prevention members 35A, 35B, and 35C are foam molded products and are elastically deformable. Therefore, the bottom and both sides of the injection space S are appropriately sealed. The liquid leakage prevention members 35A, 35B, and 35C may be fixed to, for example, the outer peripheral surface 60A of the cylindrical tank 60. The liquid leakage prevention members 35B and 35C may be provided around the entire circumference of the outer peripheral surface 10S. The liquid leakage prevention member 35A may have a length corresponding to the width of the pressing plate 25. The foam molded product is a foam molded into a predetermined shape such as a columnar shape so as to adequately seal the lower and both sides of the injection space S. The foam molded product is preferably a urethane foam molded product. The liquid leakage prevention members 35A to 35C may be fixed to the outer peripheral surface 60A by an adhesive, a pressure sensitive adhesive, an adhesive tape, or the like, or may be fixed to the outer peripheral surface 60A by a magnet or the like.
[0051] Furthermore, in this embodiment, the fixing member 33 is advanced as shown in Fig. 8, and the electromagnetic induction heater 30 is disposed at a position close to the outer peripheral surface 60A. At this time, the spacing member 32 is abutted against the outer peripheral surface 60A, thereby ensuring a certain distance between the electromagnetic induction heater 30 and the application surface. Note that the outer peripheral surface 60A close to the electromagnetic induction heater 30 is located forward in the rotation direction than the position of the outer peripheral surface 60A where the foam concentrate is discharged from the discharge port 22.
[0052] As described above, after the injection space S is sealed and the facing material 17 is aligned with the inner surface 25A of the pressing plate 25, the foam concentrate R is supplied to the injection space S through the discharge port 22. At this time, it is preferable that the discharge port 22 is moved back and forth along the horizontal direction (axial direction X) as shown in Fig. 9. The foam concentrate R injected into the injection space S is foamed and hardened, and is adhered to and integrated with the surface material 17 arranged along the inner surface 25A, and is also adhered to the outer peripheral surface 60A of the cylindrical tank 60, forming a heat insulating layer 15 on the outer peripheral surface 60A.
[0053] Here, the cylindrical tank 60 is rotated about its axis, and the heated application surface also moves. Therefore, the foam concentrate R is continuously discharged onto the application surface heated by the electromagnetic induction heater 30 after heating. Therefore, the reaction of the foam concentrate R proceeds appropriately on the application surface, and the foam concentrate R foams and hardens to form a heat insulating layer 15 that is formed on the application surface with high adhesion. In addition, the cylindrical tank 60 is rotated so that the application surface to which the foam concentrate discharged from the discharge port 22 is attached faces downward, so that, as shown in Figure 10, the foam concentrate R discharged onto the application surface faces downward, away from the discharge port 22, while foaming and hardening. Then, while heating by the electromagnetic induction heater 30 continues, the foam concentrate R continues to be supplied from the discharge port 22, and the heat insulating layer 15 is formed on the outer peripheral surface 60A of the cylindrical tank 60 all around. In addition, while the foam concentrate is being supplied, the face material 17 continues to be supplied along the inner surface 25A of the pressing plate 25 in accordance with the rotation of the cylindrical tank 60, so that the face material 17 is integrated onto the surface of the heat insulating layer 15.
[0054] As described above, the liquid leakage prevention members 35A, 35B, and 35C are fixed to the cylindrical tank 60. Therefore, when the cylindrical tank 60 is rotated, the lower liquid leakage prevention member 35A also moves together with the cylindrical tank 60, as shown in Fig. 10, and moves away from the injection space S. However, the foam concentrate R is present in the lower part of the injection section S, and the foam concentrate R does not leak from the lower part of the injection section S. 10, the liquid leakage prevention member 35A becomes unnecessary when it is moved away from the pressing plate 25, and therefore may be appropriately removed from the cylindrical tank 60. Alternatively, the liquid leakage prevention member 35A may be left attached to the outer circumferential surface 60A of the cylindrical tank 60 to constitute a part of the heat insulating material.
[0055] Even in this embodiment, the width of the pressure plate 25 (i.e., the length along the axial direction X) is sufficiently smaller than the length of the cylindrical tank 60 in the axial direction X. Therefore, the heat insulation layer 15 formed by one rotation of the cylindrical tank 60 is usually only a portion of the outer peripheral surface of the cylindrical tank 60. Therefore, in this embodiment as well, it is preferable to form the thermal insulation layers in multiple rows along the axial direction X of the cylindrical tank 60, but if the cylindrical tank 60 is sufficiently small, it is also possible to form the thermal insulation layers 15 in a single row. In addition, when forming the heat insulating layers 15 in the second and subsequent rows, at least one of the liquid leakage prevention members 35B, 35C may be omitted as appropriate.
[0056] [Third embodiment] In the second embodiment, the foam concentrate is injected into the injection space S, but in this embodiment, the injection space S is not provided, and the foam concentrate is sprayed onto the outer peripheral surface 60A. The fourth embodiment will be described in detail below with reference to Fig. 11, focusing on the differences from the third embodiment.
[0057] In this embodiment, similarly to the first and second embodiments, a thermal insulation layer is applied using a thermal insulation application device 20 including a foam concentrate discharge device 21 and an electromagnetic induction heater 30. However, in this embodiment, the discharge port 22 of the foam concentrate discharge device 21 is disposed so as to face the application surface. The foam concentrate from the discharge port 22 is sprayed onto the application surface (outer peripheral surface 60A). Furthermore, no pressing plate 25 for forming the injection space S is provided. The foam concentrate is preferably sprayed approximately perpendicular to the application surface (outer peripheral surface 60A). Here, "approximately perpendicular" refers to an angle in the range of 80 to 100° relative to the outer peripheral surface 60A, and from the viewpoint of improving the efficiency of spraying to the outer peripheral surface 10A, an angle in the range of 85 to 95° is preferable.
[0058] In this embodiment, the foam concentrate discharge device 21 and the electromagnetic induction heater 30 are mounted on the base 55. The foam concentrate discharge device 21 is preferably mounted on the base 55 so as to maintain a distance between the discharge port 22 and the outer peripheral surface 60A of the cylindrical tank 60. The electromagnetic induction heater 30 is fixed onto a fixing member 33 together with a spacing member 32, and is further attached to a base 55 via an advancing / retreating mechanism 31. The configurations of the electromagnetic induction heater 30, the advancing / retreating mechanism 31, the spacing member 32, and the fixing member 33 in this embodiment are the same as those in the second embodiment. In the base 55, the electromagnetic induction heater 30 is disposed below the discharge port 22, but it may be disposed above the discharge port 22 in accordance with the rotation direction of the cylindrical tank 60.
[0059] In this embodiment, when constructing the thermal barrier layer, the fixing member 33 is advanced as shown in Fig. 11, and the electromagnetic induction heater 30 is disposed in a position adjacent to the outer peripheral surface 60A, as in the second embodiment. Note that the outer peripheral surface 60A adjacent to the electromagnetic induction heater 30 is located forward in the rotational direction from the position of the outer peripheral surface 60A where the foam concentrate discharged from the discharge port 22 is discharged.
[0060] Moreover, the foam concentrate is sprayed onto the outer circumferential surface 60A from the discharge port 22. At this time, the discharge port 22 may be moved back and forth along the horizontal direction (axial direction X) in the same manner as in the second embodiment. The foam concentrate R sprayed onto the outer peripheral surface 60A is foamed and cured, and is adhered to the outer peripheral surface 60A of the cylindrical tank 60, forming a heat insulating layer 15 on the outer peripheral surface 60A.
[0061] Here, the cylindrical tank 60 is rotated about its axis, and the application surface moves. Therefore, the foam concentrate R is continuously sprayed onto the application surface heated by the electromagnetic induction heater 30 after heating. Therefore, the reaction of the foam concentrate R proceeds appropriately on the application surface, and the foam concentrate R foams and hardens to form a heat insulating layer 15 that is formed on the application surface with high adhesion.
[0062] In this embodiment, heating by the electromagnetic induction heater 30 continues while the foam concentrate R is continuously supplied from the outlet 22, and a heat insulating layer 15 is formed on the outer peripheral surface 60A of the cylindrical tank 60 all around.
[0063] Furthermore, the facing material 17 unwound from the winding roll 26 may be supplied via the supply roll 27 onto the foam concentrate R sprayed onto the outer peripheral surface 60A, and the facing material 17 may be laminated onto the heat insulation layer 15 formed by hardening. The facing material 17 may be adhered to the heat insulation layer 17 by hardening the foam concentrate R, or may be fixed onto the heat insulation layer 15 by a fixing member (not shown) such as a stapler pin.
[0064] In this embodiment, the discharge port 22 also reciprocates in the axial direction X as described above, but the range of the reciprocating motion is sufficiently smaller than the length of the cylindrical tank 60, and therefore the thermal insulation layer 15 formed by one rotation of the cylindrical tank 60 is usually only a part of the outer circumferential surface of the cylindrical tank 60. Therefore, in this embodiment, as in each of the above embodiments, it is preferable to form the thermal insulation layer in multiple rows along the axial direction X of the cylindrical tank 60, but if the cylindrical tank 60 is sufficiently small, it is also possible to form the thermal insulation layer in one row.
[0065] [Fourth embodiment] In the third embodiment, the thermal insulation construction device 20 has the surface material 17 supplied from a base 55 on which a foam concentrate discharge device 21 is mounted, but the surface material 17 does not have to be supplied from the base 55, and may be supplied from somewhere other than the base 55, as in the fourth embodiment described below. The fourth embodiment will be described below with reference to FIG. 12, focusing on differences from the third embodiment.
[0066] In this embodiment, a face material supply base 56 is provided, and a winding roll 26 and a supply roll 27 are provided on the face material supply base 56. In addition, members other than the winding roll 26 and the supply roll 27 are mounted on the base 55, and similarly to the third embodiment, a foam concentrate discharge device 21 and an electromagnetic induction heater 30 are mounted on it. In addition to the electromagnetic induction heater 30, a forward / backward mechanism 31, a spacing member 32, and a fixing member 33 are provided. These configurations are similar to those of the third embodiment, so a description thereof will be omitted. In this embodiment, the electromagnetic induction heater 30 is disposed above the discharge port 22 in FIG. 12, but may be disposed below in accordance with the rotation direction of the cylindrical tank 60.
[0067] In this embodiment, when the thermal barrier layer is applied, the fixing member 33 is advanced as shown in Fig. 12, and the electromagnetic induction heater 30 is disposed in a position adjacent to the outer peripheral surface 60A to heat the application surface, as in the third embodiment. Note that the outer peripheral surface 60A adjacent to the electromagnetic induction heater 30 is located forward in the rotational direction from the position of the outer peripheral surface 60A where the foam concentrate is discharged from the discharge port 22.
[0068] On the other hand, the foam concentrate R is sprayed onto the outer peripheral surface 60A from the discharge port 22 in the same manner as in the third embodiment. In addition, the cylindrical tank 60 is rotated about its axis, the treatment surface moves, and the foam concentrate R is continuously sprayed onto the treatment surface heated by the electromagnetic induction heater 30 after heating. In this embodiment, heating by the electromagnetic induction heater 30 continues while the foam concentrate R is continuously supplied from the outlet 22, and a heat insulating layer 15 is formed on the outer peripheral surface 60A of the cylindrical tank 60 all around.
[0069] Furthermore, the facing material 17 unwound from the winding roll 26 and supplied from the facing material supply base 56 may be supplied via the supply roll 27 onto the foam concentrate R sprayed onto the outer peripheral surface 60A, and laminated onto the heat-insulating layer 15. The facing material 17 may be adhered to the heat-insulating layer 17 by hardening of the foam concentrate R, or may be fixed onto the heat-insulating layer 15 by a fixing member (not shown) such as a stapler pin. In this embodiment, as in each of the above embodiments, it is preferable to form the thermal insulation layer in multiple rows along the axial direction X of the cylindrical tank 60, but if the cylindrical tank 60 is sufficiently small, it is also possible to form the thermal insulation layer in one row.
[0070] [Fifth embodiment] 13 shows a thermal barrier construction device according to a fifth embodiment of the present invention. In this embodiment, a sub-gondola 53 is provided as a moving device in addition to a gondola 43. Hereinafter, only the differences between the fifth embodiment and the first embodiment will be described.
[0071] The sub-gondola 53 can be raised and lowered by winding the wire 51 using winders installed on the left and right sides of the sub-gondola 53. In addition, the sub-gondola 53, together with the gondola 43, can run laterally along the suspension rail 45 by means of a running mechanism 46 (see FIG. 2), and can thus move vertically and horizontally together with the gondola.
[0072] The sub-gondola 53 is equipped with a drive control unit 30A for driving and controlling the electromagnetic induction heater 30. The drive control unit 30A includes a power supply that supplies power to the electromagnetic induction heater 30, and a controller that controls the electromagnetic induction heater 30. The drive control unit 30A may also control the driving of peripheral members of the electromagnetic induction heater 30, and may also include a controller that controls the driving of the cylinder 37. A cable guide 54 is provided between the sub-gondola 53 and the gondola 43, and a cable is routed along the cable guide 54 to connect the drive control unit 30A to the electromagnetic induction heater 30. A worker can generally get on the sub-gondola 53, and the electromagnetic induction heater 30 can be driven and controlled by the worker operating the drive control unit 30A. The drive control unit 30A of the electromagnetic induction heater 30 is generally heavy, and may not be able to be mounted on the gondola 43 as it exceeds the load capacity of the gondola 43. However, by providing a sub-gondola 53 as in this embodiment, the drive control unit 30A can be easily moved together with the electromagnetic induction heater 30.
[0073] [Other embodiments] The present invention is not limited to the above first to fifth embodiments, and various modifications and improvements are possible without departing from the spirit of the present invention. For example, when the thermal insulation layer 15 is formed by spraying as in the third and fourth embodiments, the thermal insulation layer 15 formed by one spraying is relatively thin. Therefore, spraying may be performed on the thermal insulation layer 15 formed by spraying to laminate multiple layers of the thermal insulation layer 15. In other words, the thermal insulation layer may be formed multiple times in the thickness direction. In this case, the facing material 17 may be provided between each thermal insulation layer 15, may be provided every several layers, or may be provided only on the outside of the outermost thermal insulation layer 15.
[0074] When spraying is further performed on the thermal barrier layer 15 and the facing material 17 to form the thermal barrier layer 15, it is not necessary to heat the outer peripheral surface 60A (the application surface) with the electromagnetic induction heater 30. The heat insulating layer 15 and the face material 17 on the outer peripheral surface 60A are easily bonded to the newly formed heat insulating layer 15, and high adhesion can be ensured even without heating. Also in the first, second and fifth embodiments, similarly to the third and fourth embodiments, the thermal barrier layer may be formed multiple times in the thickness direction.
[0075] In each of the above embodiments, the face material 17 is provided in the heat insulating structure, but the face material 17 may be omitted. When the face material 17 is omitted, the winding roll 26 and the supply roll 27 may be omitted. However, in the first, second, and fifth embodiments, a release sheet may be supplied from the winding roll 26 and the supply roll 27 instead of the face material 17. In this case, the release sheet may be supplied so as to follow the inner surface 25A of the pressing plate 25, similar to the face material 17. In the first, second, and fifth embodiments, when the face material 17 is omitted, the foam concentrate comes into direct contact with the pressing plate 25, so that the pressing plate 25 and the foam concentrate are easily bonded to each other, but by supplying a release sheet, the adhesion between the pressing plate 25 and the face material 17 can be prevented. Examples of the release sheet include a resin sheet having excellent releasability, such as a fluororesin sheet made of a fluororesin such as tetrafluoroethylene or difluoroethylene, a silicone resin sheet, etc. Also usable are release paper or release film in which at least one surface of a paper base material or a resin film is release-treated with a silicone resin or the like.
[0076] Furthermore, in the first, second and fifth embodiments, even when the facing material 17 is used, the release sheet may be supplied together with the facing material 17 so as to follow the inner surface 25A of the pressing plate 25. For example, a laminate of the facing material 17 and the release sheet may be wound around the winding roll 26, and the laminate may be unwound and supplied so as to follow the inner surface 25A of the pressing plate 25. In this case, the release sheet is disposed on the inner surface 25A side of the pressing plate 25. Furthermore, the face material 17 and the release sheet do not need to be supplied from the same winding roll 26. For example, a winding roll (not shown) separate from the winding roll 26 may be provided, and the release sheet supplied from the separate winding roll and the face material 17 supplied from the winding roll 26 may be overlapped and supplied along the inner surface 25A of the pressing plate 25.
[0077] Furthermore, in the first, second and fifth embodiments, a release sheet or a face material may be supplied onto the inner surface 25A of the pressing plate 25 by a member other than the winding roll 26 and the supply roll 27. Furthermore, the guide roller 28 may be omitted. Furthermore, in the first and fifth embodiments, the lifting device 42 does not need to be disposed above the gondola 43, and for example, a drive unit may be provided in the gondola and used as the lifting device 42. The same applies to the sub-gondola in the fifth embodiment.
[0078] In the above first and fifth embodiments, the thermal insulation layer 15 is formed on the inner peripheral surface 13A of the outer layer tank 12 in the double-shelled tank, but it may be formed on a surface other than the inner peripheral surface 13A of the outer layer tank 12, or on the outer peripheral surface 11A of the inner layer tank 11 or the outer peripheral surface of the side wall 13 of the outer layer tank 12. Furthermore, the thermal insulation layer may be applied to a tank other than a double-shelled tank, for example, a thermal insulation layer may be formed on a low-temperature tank in which an outer layer tank is not provided, or on a building or structure other than a tank. In addition, in the second to fourth embodiments, the thermal insulation layer 15 may be applied to objects other than cylindrical tanks, and may be applied to various cylindrical components such as vertical cylindrical towers and vessels such as storage tanks, heat exchangers, and reactors, and piping used in chemical plants, etc. However, the surface on which the thermal barrier layer is applied must be made of a metal material that can be heated by electromagnetic induction.
[0079] In the second to fourth embodiments, the treatment surface is moved by rotating, but the treatment surface may be moved by any method as long as the treatment surface can be moved to continuously heat the treatment surface by the electromagnetic induction heater and discharge from the discharge port, and for example, the treatment surface may be moved by linear movement. Therefore, in the second to fourth embodiments, the object to be thermally insulated may be other than a cylindrical member. Furthermore, in the first to fifth embodiments, one of the discharge port and the electromagnetic induction heater or the treatment surface is fixed and the other is movable, but both may be movable.
[0080] In addition to the electromagnetic induction heater 30, in each of the above embodiments, the advancing / retreating mechanism 31, the spacing member 32, the fixing member 33, etc. are provided, but these may be omitted as appropriate. For example, even without the spacing member 32, the advancing / retreating mechanism 31, etc., the treatment surface can be efficiently heated by the electromagnetic induction heater 30 by manually keeping the distance between the electromagnetic induction heater 30 and the treatment surface constant. Also, the fixing member 33 may be omitted, and the electromagnetic induction heater 30 may be directly connected to the advancing / retreating mechanism 31.
[0081] In the first and fifth embodiments, the liquid leakage prevention members 35A, 35B, and 35C are tubes, but they may be foam molded products, release sheets, etc. Similarly, in the second embodiment, the liquid leakage prevention members 35A, 35B, and 35C are foam molded products, but they may be tubes or release sheets.
[0082] In the first, second and fifth embodiments, when a release sheet is used as a liquid leakage prevention member, the release sheet supplied along the inner surface 25A of the presser plate 25 as described above may be used as a liquid leakage prevention member. Specifically, at least one of both side portions or the tip portion of the release sheet supplied along the inner surface 25A of the presser plate 25 may be folded to be used as a member for sealing either one of both side portions or the lower portion of the casting space S. When folding the side portions of the release sheet, for example, a folding mechanism for folding both sides of the release sheet may be provided between the supply roll 27 and the casting space S. The release sheet may be supplied so as to cover the side of the injection space S from a release sheet supply roll (not shown) provided separately from the winding roll 26.
[0083] Furthermore, the liquid leakage prevention members 35A, 35B, and 35C may be other than a foam molded product, a tube, and a release sheet, and may be, for example, a foam sheet or a release sheet attached to the outer peripheral surface of a frame material. The above-mentioned foam molded products, tubes, release sheets, frame materials, etc. may be used in appropriate combination. For example, the lower liquid leakage prevention member 35A and the side liquid leakage prevention members 35B and 35C may be different materials. [Explanation of symbols]
