Abstract

To enable a comparison between another optical sensor and an electrical discharge level.SOLUTION: An optical detection system comprises: an electrical discharge probability calculation unit 202 for calculating electric discharge probabilities of an optical sensor 1 regarding a first state in which a focal distance of a lens mechanism 21 is a first value and a second state in which the focal distance is a second value; a sensitivity parameter storage unit 19 for preliminarily storing, as a known sensitivity parameter of the optical sensor 1, an electrical discharge probability at the time of a factory shipment; and a photon number calculation unit 205 for calculating a ratio of the number of photons reaching a light-receiving surface of the optical sensor 1 at the time of the factory shipment of the optical detection system and after on-site installation of the optical detection system, on the basis of the sensitivity parameter, the electrical discharge probabilities calculated by the electrical discharge probability calculation unit 202 at the time of the first and second states, a predetermined first ratio between a reference light-receiving amount of the optical sensor 1 and a light-receiving amount at the time of the first state, and a predetermined second ratio between the reference light-receiving amount and a light-receiving amount at the time of the second state.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
