Abstract

To provide an aqueous coating agent for concrete protection that can form a film with excellent adhesion and water vapor barrier properties, and a method for forming a concrete protection film.SOLUTION: An aqueous coating agent for concrete protection comprises a natural rubber latex (A) and an acrylonitrile butadiene rubber latex (B) that contains no carboxyl group, and satisfies all the requirements of the following conditions (a)-(c). (a) A mass ratio [(B) / (A)] of the natural rubber latex (A) to the acrylonitrile butadiene rubber latex (B) is 0.1-3 in terms of resin solid content. (b) The glass transition temperature of the acrylonitrile butadiene rubber latex (B) is 0°C or lower. (c) When the aqueous coating agent for concrete protection is dried at 20°C and 50%RH for 72 hours to form a film of 1 mm in thickness, the water vapor transmission of the dry coating film is 100 g / m2 day atm or lower.SELECTED DRAWING: None
