Wind power generation equipment inspection method

Abstract

To provide a method for properly inspecting a contour of a blade by using a camera mounted on an unmanned aircraft even when the blade of a windmill is rotating due to a strong wind.SOLUTION: A method of inspecting a wind turbine generator system comprises the steps of: periodically determining an angle around a rotation shaft of a blade 11 of a windmill 10 by using inspection data from a distance measurement sensor 22 which is attached to a nacelle 13 of the windmill 10; estimating a rotation angle of the blade 11 after the lapse of a prescribed time from the present time on the basis of a change in the angle around the rotation shaft of the blade 11 up to the present time; determining a flying route for an unmanned aircraft 30 along the blade 11 from the present time to after the lapse of the prescribed time on the basis of the angle around the rotation shaft of the blade 11 at the present time and the estimated rotation angle of the blade 11; and making a camera 33 mounted on the unmanned aircraft 30 image the blade 11 while making the unmanned aircraft 30 fly following the determined flying route.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
