Abstract
Description
[Technical field]
[0001] The present invention relates to a resin composition. [Background technology]
[0002] In recent years, with growing environmental awareness, there has been a call for reducing waste. One of the means to achieve this is product recycling.
[0003] Materials recycled from packaging containers that are collected while still containing a printed layer become discolored. To address this issue, if a water-soluble polymer is used as a printing primer, the printed layer can be safely removed with neutral water before recycling, and discoloration of the recycled material can be prevented. In addition, if the water-soluble polymer itself is used as a packaging container material, it can be dissolved in water after use, removed, and recycled.
[0004] On the other hand, it has been difficult to achieve both water solubility and heat resistance in water-soluble polymers. Therefore, in order to increase the heat resistance of polymer materials, they are designed to suppress their affinity with water in order to reduce the effect of water. Therefore, in removing such polymer materials, a method of removing them by adding a solvent other than water or a component other than water to water has been proposed (for example, JP 2018-24243 A and JP 2017-114930 A). Summary of the Invention
[0005] The present invention is a resin composition comprising: resin α1 having an aromatic dicarboxylic acid monomer unit A1 having a hydrophilic group, a dicarboxylic acid monomer unit B1 having no hydrophilic group, and an aromatic monomer unit C1; and resin α2 having an aromatic dicarboxylic acid monomer unit A2 having a hydrophilic group, a dicarboxylic acid monomer unit B2 having no hydrophilic group, and an aliphatic monomer unit C2, wherein the resin α2 contains a monomer unit other than the monomer units constituting the resin α1, and the mass ratio of the content of the resin α1 to the content of the resin α2 is 0.9 or more and 20 or less. Detailed Description of the Invention
[0006] In view of the above situation, it was thought that if a material could be easily removed with water while maintaining heat resistance, it would be possible to achieve both recycling and heat resistance of polymer materials.
[0007] The present invention provides a resin composition that can be easily removed with only water while maintaining heat resistance.
[0008] The present invention is a resin composition comprising: resin α1 having an aromatic dicarboxylic acid monomer unit A1 having a hydrophilic group, a dicarboxylic acid monomer unit B1 not having a hydrophilic group, and an aromatic monomer unit C1; and resin α2 having an aromatic dicarboxylic acid monomer unit A2 having a hydrophilic group, a dicarboxylic acid monomer unit B2 not having a hydrophilic group, and an aliphatic monomer unit C2, wherein the resin α2 contains monomer units other than the monomer units constituting the resin α1, and the mass ratio of the content of the resin α1 to the content of the resin α2 is 0.9 or more and 20 or less.
[0009] According to the present invention, it is possible to provide a resin composition that can be removed with only water while maintaining heat resistance.
[0010] Hereinafter, one embodiment of the present invention will be described.
[0011] <Resin composition> The resin composition of this embodiment contains an aromatic dicarboxylic acid monomer unit A1 having a hydrophilic group other than the hydrophilic group constituting the polymerization related to the production of the resin (hereinafter, also simply referred to as a hydrophilic group), a dicarboxylic acid monomer unit B1 having no hydrophilic group, and an aromatic monomer unit C1, and a resin α2 having an aromatic dicarboxylic acid monomer unit A2 having a hydrophilic group, a dicarboxylic acid monomer unit B2 having no hydrophilic group, and an aliphatic monomer unit C2, and the resin α2 contains a monomer unit other than the monomer unit constituting the resin α1, and the mass ratio of the content of the resin α1 to the content of the resin α2 is 0.9 or more and 20 or less. According to the resin composition of this embodiment, it is possible to provide a resin composition that can be removed only by water while maintaining heat resistance. The reason why the resin composition has such an effect is not clear, but it is considered as follows.
[0012] Since the resin α1 has an aromatic monomer unit C1, the mobility of the molecular chain is low. Therefore, the resin α1 improves the heat resistance of the resin composition, but the water solubility of the resin α1 is lower than that of the resin α2 having an aliphatic monomer unit C2. In general, a resin with low solubility in water and a resin with high solubility in water have low compatibility. However, since the resin α1 and the resin α2 have hydrophilic groups, it is considered that the compatibility is high due to the interaction between the hydrophilic group in one resin and the hydrophilic group constituting the polymerization related to the generation of the other resin. When the resin composition having such resin α1 and resin α2 is brought into contact with water, it is considered that the resin α1, which is sufficiently compatible with the resin α2, is easily dispersed in water by dissolving the resin α2 in water. As a result, it is considered that the resin composition of this embodiment can provide a resin composition that can be removed only by water while maintaining the heat resistance derived from the resin α1.

EXAMPLES
[0080] Pressure is expressed in absolute pressure. "Normal pressure" means 101.3 kPa.
[0081] <Method for preparing resin composition> The preparation method of resin compositions 1 to 17 is described below. The weight average molecular weight of resin α1 and α2 contained in each of resin compositions 1 to 6, 14, and 15, and the ratio of monomer units A1, A2, B1, B2, C1, and C2 to the total of all monomer units of resin α1 and α2 are shown in Tables 1 and 2. The contents of resin α1, resin α2, and organic salt compound β in the resin composition calculated from the glass transition temperature of the resin composition and the amount of added raw materials are shown in Tables 3, 5, 7, and 8. The ratios of monomer units B1, B2, C1, and C2 to the total of all monomer units of resin α1 and α2 were calculated from the amount of added raw materials under the assumption that, for ethylene glycol and 1,3-propanediol, the excess amount was distilled out of the reaction system and the diol unit and dicarboxylic acid unit reacted in equal amounts.
[0082] [Preparation of Resin Composition 1] A 2L stainless steel separable flask (equipped with a K-shaped tube, stirrer, and nitrogen inlet tube) was charged with 23.7g of 2,6-naphthalenedicarboxylate dimethyl (Tokyo Chemical Industry Co., Ltd.), 52.1g of sodium dimethyl 5-sulfoisophthalate (Tokyo Chemical Industry Co., Ltd.), 22.4g of ethylene glycol (Fujifilm Wako Pure Chemical Industries, Ltd.), 26mg of titanium tetrabutoxide (Tokyo Chemical Industry Co., Ltd.), 117.3g of bisphenoxyethanolfluorene (Osaka Gas Chemicals Co., Ltd.), and 866mg of anhydrous sodium acetate (Fujifilm Wako Pure Chemical Industries, Ltd.). The mixture was heated to a temperature of 160°C to 260°C over 1 hour with stirring under normal pressure and nitrogen atmosphere using a mantle heater, and the mixture was stirred at that temperature for 6 hours and 30 minutes to carry out an ester exchange reaction. Next, 17.6 g of dodecylbenzenesulfonic acid tetrabutylphosphonium salt (Takemoto Oil Co., Ltd., Elecut S-418) was added, and the surface temperature of the heater was raised from 260 ° C to 290 ° C over 30 minutes, and stirred for 1 hour and 20 minutes. Thereafter, the pressure was reduced from normal pressure to 2 kPa, and the surface temperature of the heater was raised from 290 ° C to 315 ° C over 35 minutes to carry out a reaction. After raising the temperature to 315 ° C, the mixture was stirred for 2 hours, and then the reaction was carried out while gradually increasing the degree of reduction from 2 kPa to 28 Pa and stirring for 3 hours, and the pressure was returned to normal to obtain a resin composition 1 containing resin α1 and organic salt compound β.
