[0003] The compressor unit has a compressor. The compressor is a source of vibration. If the vibration or the like causes damage to the pipes, the refrigerant will leak from the refrigerant circuit. Therefore, it is necessary to suppress the leakage of the refrigerant in the compressor unit. [Means for solving the problem]

[0004] A compressor unit according to a first aspect includes a first case, a compressor, a connection port, and a shutoff valve. The compressor is accommodated in the first case. The connection port includes a first connection port and a second connection port. The shutoff valve includes a first shutoff valve and a second shutoff valve. The compressor forms a refrigerant cycle together with a heat source heat exchanger and a utilization heat exchanger. The refrigerant cycle uses the heat source heat exchanger as a heat source and circulates a refrigerant. The heat source heat exchanger is accommodated in a second case separated from the first case. The utilization heat exchanger is accommodated in a third case separated from the first case. The compressor unit is disposed inside a building. The first connection port is connected to the heat source heat exchanger via a first connection pipe. [0057] (2-4-1) Case 50a The case 50a houses the components of the utilization unit 501.

[0058] (2-4-2) Utilization unit expansion valve 51 The utilization unit expansion valve 51 reduces the pressure of the refrigerant R0. [0065] (2-5-2) Second gas connection pipe 42 The second gas connection pipe 42 connects the second gas side cutoff valve 28b and the utilization units 501, 502. The second gas connection pipe 42 mainly guides the refrigerant R0 in a high pressure gas state or a low pressure gas state.

[0066] (3) Refrigerant circuit configuration The refrigeration device 100 constitutes one refrigerant cycle C0 as a whole. The refrigerant cycle C0 circulates a refrigerant R0. The refrigerant cycle C0 uses a heat source heat exchanger 11 as a heat source. The components belonging to the refrigerant cycle C0 include a compressor 21, a four-way switching valve 22, a first gas side shutoff valve 23b, the heat source heat exchanger 11, a heat source heat exchanger unit expansion valve 13, a first liquid side shutoff valve 23a, a second liquid side shutoff valve 28a, a utilization unit expansion valve 51, a utilization heat exchanger 52, and a second gas side shutoff valve 28b.

[0067] (4) Operation of the refrigeration device 100 In the following description, the refrigerant R0 will be described as undergoing a reaction (condensation, evaporation) accompanied by a phase transition during heat exchange, however, the state of the refrigerant R0 is not limited to this, and the refrigerant R0 may undergo a reaction without a phase transition.

[0068] (4-1)Cold heat utilization operation The compressor 21 discharges the refrigerant R0 in a high-pressure gas state. The refrigerant R0 in the high-pressure gas state reaches the heat source heat exchanger 11 via the four-way switching valve 22 and the first gas side shutoff valve 23b. In the heat source heat exchanger 11, the refrigerant R0 condenses and becomes a high-pressure liquid state. The refrigerant R0 in the high-pressure liquid state reaches the heat source heat exchanger unit expansion valve 13. In the heat source heat exchanger unit expansion valve 13, the refrigerant R0 is decompressed and becomes a low-pressure gas-liquid two-phase state. The refrigerant R0 in the low-pressure gas-liquid two-phase state reaches the utilization unit expansion valve 51 via the first liquid side shutoff valve 23a and the second liquid side shutoff valve 28a. In the utilization unit expansion valve 51, the refrigerant R0 is further decompressed. The refrigerant R0 reaches the utilization heat exchanger 52. In the utilization heat exchanger 52, the refrigerant R0 evaporates and becomes a low-pressure gas state. In this process, the refrigerant R0 provides cold to the user. The refrigerant R0 in a low-pressure gas state passes through the second gas side cutoff valve 28b and the four-way switching valve 22 and reaches the compressor 21. The compressor 21 draws in the refrigerant R0 in a low-pressure gas state.

[0069] (4-2) Heat utilization operation The compressor 21 discharges the refrigerant R0 in a high-pressure gas state. The refrigerant R0 in the high-pressure gas state reaches the utilization heat exchanger 52 via the four-way switching valve 22 and the second gas side shutoff valve 28b. In the utilization heat exchanger 52, the refrigerant R0 condenses and becomes a high-pressure liquid state. In this process, the refrigerant R0 provides heat to the user. The refrigerant R0 in the high-pressure liquid state reaches the utilization unit expansion valve 51. In the utilization unit expansion valve 51, the refrigerant R0 is decompressed and becomes a low-pressure gas-liquid two-phase state. The refrigerant R0 in the low-pressure gas-liquid two-phase state reaches the heat source heat exchanger unit expansion valve 13 via the second liquid side shutoff valve 28a and the first liquid side shutoff valve 23a. In the heat source heat exchanger unit expansion valve 13, the refrigerant R0 is further decompressed. The refrigerant R0 reaches the heat source heat exchanger 11. In the heat source heat exchanger 11, the refrigerant R0 evaporates and becomes a low-pressure gas state. The refrigerant R0 in a low-pressure gas state passes through the first gas side cutoff valve 23b and the four-way switching valve 22 and reaches the compressor 21. The compressor 21 draws in the refrigerant R0 in a low-pressure gas state.

[0070] (4-3) Operation during refrigerant leakage When a refrigerant leak occurs inside the compressor unit 20, the refrigerant detection sensor 61a detects the refrigerant R0. An output signal from the refrigerant detection sensor 61a is received by a microcomputer in the compressor unit 20. The microcomputer transmits a command (or a control signal) for shutoff to the shutoff valve 67. Upon receiving the command, the shutoff valve 67 closes the refrigerant flow path.

[0071] (5) Features (5-1) The first connection pipe 30 and the second connection pipe 40 extending from the compressor unit 20 can be shut off by the shutoff valve 67. Therefore, when leakage of the refrigerant R0 occurs inside the compressor unit 20, the leaking refrigerant R0 can be prevented from reaching the outside of the compressor unit 20.

[0072] In this configuration, the compressor unit 20 and the heat source heat exchanger unit 10 are configured as separate units. Therefore, the refrigeration system 100 has a first connection pipe 30 (first liquid connection pipe 31, first gas connection pipe 32) that connects the compressor unit 20 and the heat source heat exchanger unit 10. The refrigeration system 100 having the long first connection pipe 30 uses a larger amount of refrigerant compared to a refrigeration system in which the compressor 21 and the heat source heat exchanger 11 are housed in the same unit. Even in this case, the provision of a shutoff valve 67 can suppress the diffusion of refrigerant leakage.

[0073] (5-2) The leakage detection sensor 61 detects leakage of the refrigerant R0. Therefore, based on the output signal of the leakage detection sensor 61, the shutoff valve 67 can be shut off.

[0074] The leakage detection sensor 61 is a refrigerant detection sensor 61a, and is therefore capable of directly detecting the leaking refrigerant R0.

[0075] (5-3) When leakage of the refrigerant R0 is detected, the compressor unit control unit 29 automatically closes the shutoff valve 67. This makes it possible to quickly prevent the refrigerant leakage. In addition, since the refrigerant R0 can be confined within the first connection pipe 30 or the heat source heat exchanger unit 11, the diffusion of the refrigerant leakage can be prevented.

[0076] (5-4) The compressor unit control section 29 is cooled by the circulating air current generated by the fan 69. Therefore, the heat generated by the electrical components 74 can be effectively dissipated by the circulating air current.

[0077] (6) Variations (6-1) Variation 1A 4 shows a refrigeration system 100 according to Modification 1A of the first embodiment. Unlike the above-described embodiments, this refrigeration system 100 has a compressor unit control section 29 disposed outside the case 20a.

[0078] According to this configuration, the heat generated by the circuit board constituting the compressor unit control section 29 can be effectively released.

[0079] (6-2) Variation 1B In the above-described embodiment, the heat source heat exchanger unit 10 is disposed outside the building B. Alternatively, the heat source heat exchanger unit 10 may be disposed inside the building B and fluidly connected to the outside of the building B. For example, as shown in FIG. 5, the heat source heat exchanger unit 10 may be disposed in a duct provided in the building B. The duct is fluidly connected to the outside of the building B and exchanges air with the outside of the building B.

[0080] With this configuration, the aesthetic appearance of building B is not marred.

[0081] (6-3) Variation 1C In the above embodiment, the number of utilization units 501, 502 is 2. Alternatively, the number of utilization units may be a number other than 2. For example, the number of utilization units may be 1, 3, or 4.

[0082] <Second embodiment> (1) Composition 6 is a circuit diagram of a refrigeration system 100 according to a second embodiment. Unlike the first embodiment, this refrigeration system 100 has a cascade heat exchanger 24 and configures two refrigerant cycles as a whole.

[0083] The first refrigeration cycle C1 circulates a first refrigerant R1. It is preferable to use a refrigerant with a low GWP value (global warming potential) as the first refrigerant R1. The first refrigerant R1 is, for example, R32 or carbon dioxide. The first refrigeration cycle C1 uses a heat source heat exchanger 11 as a heat source. Components belonging to the first refrigeration cycle C1 include a first compressor 21, a first four-way switching valve 22, a first gas side shutoff valve 23b, a heat source heat exchanger 11, a heat source heat exchanger unit expansion valve 13, a first liquid side shutoff valve 23a, a cascade heat exchanger 24, and the like.

[0084] The second refrigerant cycle C2 circulates the second refrigerant R2. It is preferable to use a refrigerant with a low GWP value as the second refrigerant R2. The second refrigerant R2 is, for example, R410A, R32, or carbon dioxide. The second refrigerant cycle C2 uses the cascade heat exchanger 24 as a heat source. The components belonging to the second refrigerant cycle C2 include the second compressor 25, the second four-way switching valve 26, the cascade heat exchanger 24, the compressor unit expansion valve 27, the utilization unit expansion valve 51, the utilization heat exchanger 52, the first gas side cutoff valve 23b, and the like.

[0085] (2) Features Even with this configuration, the first connection pipe 30 and the second connection pipe 40 extending from the compressor unit 20 can be shut off by the shutoff valve 67. Therefore, when leakage of the refrigerant R0 occurs inside the compressor unit 20, the leaking refrigerant R0 can be prevented from reaching the outside of the compressor unit 20.

[0086] (3) Modifications (3-1) Variation 2A 7 shows a refrigeration system 100 according to a modified example 2A of the second embodiment. Unlike the above-mentioned embodiments, this refrigeration system 100 has compressor unit control sections 291, 292 cooled by cooling refrigerant pipes 641, 642 via refrigerant jackets 651, 652, respectively. Furthermore, the case 20a of the compressor unit 20 is airtight. The leakage detection sensor 61 is a pressure sensor 61b. The case 20a is provided with a rupture disc 66. The rupture disc 66 is broken by a pressure exceeding a predetermined value.

[0087] According to this configuration, since the case 20a of the compressor unit 20 is airtight, heat generated by the circuit board tends to be trapped inside the case 20a. However, the heat generated by the circuit boards constituting the compressor unit control units 291 and 292 can be effectively released using the cooling refrigerant pipes 641 and 642, respectively. The cooling of the circuit boards may be achieved by disposing the compressor unit control unit 29 outside the case 20a, instead of the cooling refrigerant pipes 641 and 642. Alternatively, the cooling of the circuit boards may be achieved by employing a fan that generates a circulating airflow, instead of the cooling refrigerant pipes 641 and 642.

[0088] Furthermore, since the case 20a is airtight, the refrigerant R0 that has leaked into the compressor unit 20 can be prevented from reaching the outside of the compressor unit 20.

[0089] Furthermore, since the leakage detection sensor 61 is a pressure sensor 61b, leakage of the refrigerant R0 can be detected using a change in pressure.

[0090] Furthermore, since the case 20a has the rupture plate 66, the highly airtight case 20a can be prevented from bursting due to high internal pressure.

[0091] Furthermore, since the case 20a is airtight, noise from the compressor unit 20 can be suppressed.

[0092] Furthermore, when the case 20a is made of metal, it is highly effective in blocking electromagnetic noise.

[0093] (3-2) Variation 2B Each of the modified examples of the first embodiment may be applied to the second embodiment.

[0094] <Third embodiment> (1) Composition 8 is a circuit diagram of a refrigeration device 100 according to the third embodiment. Unlike the first embodiment, this refrigeration device 100 has a heat source 71, a fluid refrigerant heat exchanger 72, and a pump 73. The heat source 71 is disposed outside the building B. The fluid refrigerant heat exchanger 72 and the pump 73 are provided in the compressor unit 20.

[0095] The heat source 71, the fluid refrigerant heat exchanger 72, and the pump 73 constitute a circuit for circulating a fluid F such as water or brine.

[0096] The refrigerant cycle C0 circulates the refrigerant R0. The refrigerant cycle C0 uses as a heat source a fluid refrigerant heat exchanger 72. The fluid refrigerant heat exchanger 72 exchanges heat between the fluid F and the refrigerant R0.

[0097] The compressor unit 20 has a second liquid side shutoff valve 28a and a second gas side shutoff valve 28b arranged in the second connection port .

[0098] (2) Features According to this configuration, the second connection pipe 40 extending from the compressor unit 20 can be shut off by the second liquid side shutoff valve 28a and the second gas side shutoff valve 28b. Therefore, when leakage of the refrigerant R0 occurs inside the compressor unit 20, the leaking refrigerant R0 can be prevented from reaching the outside of the compressor unit 20.

[0099] (3) Modifications Each of the modified examples of the first embodiment or the second embodiment may be applied to the third embodiment.

[0100] <Conclusion> Although the embodiments of the present disclosure have been described above, it will be understood that various changes in form and details can be made without departing from the spirit and scope of the present disclosure described in the claims. [Explanation of symbols]
