Abstract
Description
[Technical field]
[0001] The present invention relates to a method for winding a carrier tape used for storing, storing, conveying, transporting, etc., of parts, and to a package of the carrier tape. [Background technology]
[0002] Conventionally, when multiple parts are individually stored, conveyed, transported, etc., a carrier tape 10 called an embossed carrier tape has been used from the viewpoint of efficiently handling small parts that are difficult to handle, preventing damage to the parts, or storing as many parts as possible (see Patent Document 1).
[0003] As shown in Figure 5, the carrier tape 10 has flanges 12, 12A formed on both sides of a band-shaped resin sheet 11, and of the pair of flanges 12, 12A, at least one of the flanges 12 has a plurality of sprocket holes 13 punched at predetermined intervals in the longitudinal direction, and a plurality of pockets 14 embossed at predetermined intervals in the longitudinal direction of the center between the pair of flanges 12, 12A, so that predetermined components are stored in each pocket 14.
[0004] Such a carrier tape 10 is wound around a take-up reel, but when storing multiple components, it is set in a mounting machine and unwound from the take-up reel, and the components are stored sequentially in multiple pockets 14. A band-shaped cover tape for covering and protecting the components is attached to the center of the surface of the resin sheet 11, and then the carrier tape is taken up around the core 2 of an empty take-up reel 1.
[0005] Incidentally, when storage, transportation, or transport of a large number of parts is required, the carrier tape 10 is stretched to, for example, 1,000 m or more and traverse-wound in multiple stages around the winding core 2 of an empty winding reel 1 to reduce the winding diameter.
[0006] When traverse winding the carrier tape 10 in multiple stages, (A) the carrier tape 10 is moved in the core width direction of the take-up reel 1 while being shifted by approximately the width of the resin sheet 11, and then the direction of movement of the carrier tape 10 is reversed near the side plate 3 of the take-up reel 1, and the carrier tape 10 is moved in the original direction while being shifted by approximately the width of the resin sheet 11, and then wound, and these windings are repeated to traverse wind the carrier tape 10 in multiple stages (see FIG. 6 ); (B) the carrier tape 1 is wound around the preceding carrier tape 10 in a row. 7A to 7C, (C) in addition to the flanges 12 with sprocket holes 13 of the carrier tape 10, also the flanges 12A without sprocket holes 13 are stacked and wound, and the carrier tape 10 is wound while reversing the direction of movement near the side plate 3 of the take-up reel 1, and then these windings are repeated (see FIG. 7A); or (D) in addition to the flanges 12 with sprocket holes 13 of the carrier tape 10, the flanges 12A without sprocket holes 13 are stacked and wound, and the carrier tape 10 is wound while reversing the direction of movement near the side plate 3 of the take-up reel 1, and then these windings are repeated. [0007] [Patent Document 1] JP 2001-247158 A Summary of the Invention [Problem to be solved by the invention]
[0008] Conventionally, carrier tape 10 is wound in multiple stages in a traverse manner as described above. However, in the case of method (A), the gap between the horizontal circumferential rows wound in the traverse winding widens due to vibrations, etc., and the bottom of pocket 14 in the outer stage fits into this widened gap, causing the tape to collapse.
[0009] In contrast, in the cases of methods (B) and (C), although the winding of the carrier tape 10 is stable, when multiple circumferential rows are continuously overlapped and wound, the overlapping portions may slip off due to the slipperiness and thickness of the material of the carrier tape 10, the overlapping portion may overlap, and the winding pitch may become unstable due to the tension during winding. For example, when the material of the carrier tape 10 is a slippery polyethylene terephthalate resin, the overlapping portions may slip off and the winding pitch may become unstable.
[0010] Furthermore, when the thickness of the resin sheet 11 is large, for example, when the thickness of the resin sheet 11 is 0.4 mm or more, if the overlap is large, it becomes difficult to control the winding of the multiple circumferential rows, and the multiple circumferential rows may slip off irregularly, causing a problem of collapse of the winding (see FIG. 8). Furthermore, if the multiple circumferential rows slip off, an uncontrollable increase in pitch occurs, which results in problems such as unintended overlap in the next circumferential row.
[0011] The present invention has been made in consideration of the above, and aims to provide a carrier tape winding method and a carrier tape packaging body that can prevent the overlapping portion from slipping off and improve the stability of the winding process. [Means for solving the problem]
[0012] In order to solve the above problems, the present invention provides Thickness: 0.15mm to 0.55mm A method for winding a carrier tape in which a plurality of pockets are arranged on a band-shaped resin sheet, comprising the steps of: The carrier tape is wound in multiple stages while moving in the width direction of the winding core of the winding reel, and at least some of the multiple stages are wound. By arranging multiple overlapping rows in a line at a predetermined interval in the width direction of the core, The alternating overlapping layers are formed. a gap is formed between adjacent overlapping rows so as not to overlap each other, and each overlapping row is formed by winding and arranging the overlapping circumferential rows alternately in the width direction of the winding core, The side of the carrier tape in the overlapping circumferential row is overlapped with the side of the carrier tape in the adjacent overlapped circumferential row. Contact with It is characterized by the following.
[0013] The carrier tape is a resin sheet containing polyethylene terephthalate resin, and a plurality of sprocket holes are arranged at a predetermined interval along the longitudinal direction of at least one of both side portions of the resin sheet, and a plurality of pockets are recessed and formed at a predetermined interval along the longitudinal direction between both side portions of the resin sheet.
[0014] In addition, the carrier tape can be configured so that a plurality of sprocket holes are arranged at a predetermined interval in the longitudinal direction of at least one of both side portions of a resin sheet having a thickness of 0.4 mm or more, and a plurality of pockets are recessed at a predetermined interval in the longitudinal direction between both side portions of the resin sheet.
[0015] In addition, of the multiple stages to be wound, the remaining stages can be formed into normal stages by arranging a plurality of normal circumferential rows, and the carrier tape in each normal circumferential row of this normal stage can be made non-contact with the carrier tape in the adjacent normal circumferential row. In addition, when winding in multiple stages, alternate overlapping stages and normal stages can be alternately repeated. It is also possible to form all of the multiple winding stages as alternating overlapping stages.
[0016] In order to solve the above problems, the present invention is characterized in that it is a package of a carrier tape wound by the method for winding a carrier tape according to any one of claims 1 to 4.
[0017] Here, the resin sheet in the claims is formed from at least one type of resin. The resin sheet may or may not be conductive, insulating, or light-transmitting. In addition, at least some of the multiple stages include one stage, an even number stage, an odd number stage, or all stages. The side of the carrier tape in the overlapping circumferential row and the side of the carrier tape in the adjacent overlapped circumferential row may have the same width or different widths. When the side of the carrier tape in the overlapping circumferential row is overlapped with the side of the carrier tape in the adjacent overlapped circumferential row, the wide side may be overlapped with the narrow side, or the narrow side may be overlapped with the wide side.
[0018] According to the present invention, by alternately winding a plurality of overlapping circumferential rows and overlapped circumferential rows, an alternating overlapping step that exhibits a slip prevention function is formed, and deviation in cumulative height is suppressed, so that the winding posture of the carrier tape can be stabilized. In addition, it is possible to eliminate the risk of the overlapping part of the side part slipping off due to the slip characteristics and thickness of the material of the carrier tape, the cumulative overlap of the side part, and the tension during winding, which causes the pitch during winding to become unstable. Effect of the Invention
[0019] According to the present invention, at least some of the multiple winding stages are By arranging multiple overlapping rows in a line at a predetermined interval in the width direction of the core, The alternating overlapping layers are formed. a gap is formed between adjacent overlapping rows so as not to overlap each other, and each overlapping row is formed by winding and arranging the overlapping circumferential rows alternately in the width direction of the winding core, The side of the carrier tape in the overlapping circumferential row is overlapped with the side of the carrier tape in the adjacent overlapped circumferential row. Because they come into contact with each other, This has the effect of preventing the overlapping portions of the carrier tape from slipping off, thereby improving the stability of the winding process. In addition, since the thickness of the resin sheet is 0.15 mm or more and 0.55 mm or less, the strength and moldability of the resin sheet can be improved, and costs can be reduced. Furthermore, even if the thickness of the resin sheet is 0.4 mm or more and the overlapping margin at the sides of the carrier tape is large, it is not difficult to control the multiple overlapping circumferential rows and the overlapped circumferential rows when they are wound, and these circumferential rows rarely slip off irregularly and become unwound.
[0020] According to the invention described in claim 3, when winding in multiple stages, alternating overlapping stages and normal stages are repeatedly wound, so that the winding posture of a carrier tape having a width of 24 mm or less can be stabilized.
[0021] According to the invention described in claim 4, since all the stages are formed as alternating overlapping stages, even if the width of the carrier tape is as wide as 32 mm or more, the winding posture of the carrier tape can be stabilized. [Brief description of the drawings]

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENTS
[0023] A preferred embodiment of the present invention will be described below with reference to the drawings. In this embodiment, as shown in Figures 1 to 4, the method of winding the carrier tape 10 involves winding the carrier tape 10 in multiple stages around the core 2 of the winding reel 1 by traverse winding, and dividing the multiple stages into alternating overlapping stages 20 and normal stages 24. The alternating overlapping stages 20 are formed by arranging a plurality of overlapping rows 21, and each overlapping row 21 is formed by an arrangement of overlapping circumferential rows 22 and overlapped circumferential rows 23. The flange 12 of the carrier tape 10 in the overlapping circumferential row 22 is overlapped with the flange 12A of the carrier tape 10 in the overlapped circumferential row 23, thereby contributing to the achievement of Goal 9 of the SDGs (the United Nations' International Goals for Sustainable Development, consisting of 17 global goals and 169 targets (achievement criteria)) adopted at the United Nations Summit.
[0024] As partially shown in Fig. 1, the take-up reel 1 has a cylindrical core 2, with side plates 3 attached to both open ends of the core 2, and is rotatably supported by a mounting machine (not shown). The core 2 is formed into a cylindrical shape from a predetermined resin or paper, and a carrier tape 10 is wound under tension around the outer circumferential surface. Each side plate 3 is formed into a disk from a predetermined resin (e.g., polyphenylene ether resin, etc.). On such a take-up reel 1, the carrier tape 10, which is long in the radial direction of the core 2, is traverse-wound in multiple stages.
[0025] As shown in Figures 2(a) and (b) and Figures 3(a) and (b), the carrier tape 10 comprises a flexible, band-shaped resin sheet 11, the left and right sides of which are formed into plate-shaped flanges 12, 12A, and a plurality of sprocket holes 13 are punched at predetermined intervals in the longitudinal direction of at least one of the pair of left and right flanges 12, 12A, and a plurality of pockets 14 are embossed in the center between the pair of flanges 12, 12A, and components are individually stored in each pocket 14.
[0026] The resin sheet 11 is formed into a long strip shape with a thickness of 0.1 mm to 0.5 mm by extrusion molding or the like using a molding material containing a predetermined resin. The predetermined resin of the resin sheet 11 is not particularly limited to polyethylene terephthalate resin, polycarbonate resin, ABS resin, MBS resin, etc., but from the viewpoint of preventing the carrier tape 10 from becoming entangled or warping, it is preferable that the resin sheet 11 mainly contains a hydrocarbon-based resin. Examples of the hydrocarbon-based resin include a transparent polystyrene resin with excellent versatility, a conductive polystyrene resin capable of preventing static electricity troubles, and a polyethylene resin.
[0027] The resin sheet 11 may be formed of one type of resin, but may be formed of multiple types of resin as necessary. For example, when it is desired to achieve multi-functionality, the resin sheet 11 may be formed in a laminated structure in which the first layer is a thin polyethylene terephthalate resin, the second layer is a thick polystyrene resin, and the third layer is a thin polyethylene terephthalate resin. In addition, the resin sheet 11 may have a laminated structure in which the first layer is a polystyrene resin, the second layer is a polyethylene resin, and the third layer is a polystyrene resin, or a three-layer structure in which the first layer is a thin ABS resin, the second layer is a thick polystyrene resin, and the third layer is a thin ABS resin.
[0028] The width of the resin sheet 11 is set based on the JIS standard to 8mm, 12mm, 16mm, 24mm, 32mm, 44mm, 56mm, etc., and when it is 32mm or more, multiple sprocket holes 13 are punched at predetermined intervals in the longitudinal direction of the pair of flanges 12, 12A (see Figure 3(a)), and when it is 24mm or less, multiple sprocket holes 13 are punched at predetermined intervals in the longitudinal direction of one of the flanges 12 (see Figure 2(a)).
[0029] When the width of resin sheet 11 is 32 mm or more, the pair of flanges 12, 12A of resin sheet 11 are ensured to have a width of at least 3.0 mm or more, preferably a width of about 3.1 mm or more, as necessary. On the other hand, when the width of resin sheet 11 is 24 mm or less, one flange 12 with sprocket holes 13 is ensured to have a width of 3.0 mm or more, preferably a width of about 3.1 mm or more, as necessary, and the other flange 12A without sprocket holes 13 is ensured to have a width of 0.5 mm or more, preferably a width of about 1 mm or more.
[0030] The thickness of resin sheet 11 is 0.1 mm or more and 0.6 mm or less, but from the viewpoints of strength, formability, and cost of resin sheet 11, it is preferably 0.15 mm or more and 0.55 mm or less, and more preferably 0.2 mm or more and 0.5 mm or less.
[0031] A plurality of pockets 14 are formed and arranged at a predetermined interval in the longitudinal direction of the center of the resin sheet 11, and each pocket 14 is formed by forming a depression into a flat rectangular shape by heat pressing, and components such as electronic components (not shown) are stored in the pockets 14 through gaps. The components are not particularly limited, but examples thereof include large aluminum electrolytic capacitors, resistor elements, diodes, IC chips, leaf springs, etc. Once the components are stored in such pockets 14, a transparent cover tape is gradually attached in the longitudinal direction of the center of the resin sheet 11 to cover and protect the components.
[0032] Now, under the control of a predetermined program, the carrier tape 10 is wound up in multiple stages while moving via an inlet guide roll in the width direction of the winding core 2 of the take-up reel 1 (left and right direction in Figure 1). As shown in Figure 1, these multiple stages are formed into odd-numbered stages (1 stage, 3 stages, 5 stages, etc.) and even-numbered stages (2 stages, 4 stages, 6 stages, etc.), one of which is formed into alternating overlap stages 20 that exhibit an anti-slip function, and the other is formed into normal stages 24.
[0033] The alternating overlapping rows 20 are formed by arranging a plurality of overlapping rows 21 (three rows in FIG. 1) in a horizontal row at a predetermined interval in the width direction of the winding core 2, and it is preferable that a small gap is formed between adjacent overlapping rows 21 so that they do not overlap. Each overlapping row 21 is formed by arranging an overlapping circumferential row 22 and an overlapped circumferential row 23 adjacent to each other in the width direction of the winding core 2, and the flange 12 of the carrier tape 10 in the overlapping circumferential row 22 is preferably overlapped and in contact with the flange 12A of the carrier tape 10 in the adjacent overlapped circumferential row 23.
[0034] The ordinary stage 24 is formed by arranging a plurality of ordinary circumferential rows 25 with small gaps therebetween in the width direction of the winding core 2. The carrier tape 10 of each ordinary circumferential row 25 is not in contact with the carrier tape 10 of the adjacent ordinary circumferential rows 25.
[0035] In the above, when traverse winding the carrier tape 10 in multiple stages, as shown in Fig. 1, the carrier tape 10 is first wound while moving it from one end of the winding core 2 of the take-up reel 1 toward the other end to form adjacent odd-numbered overlapped circumferential rows 23 and even-numbered overlapped circumferential rows 22, thereby forming an overlapping row 21, and this operation is repeated up to the vicinity of the other end of the winding core 2 to form the first stage into an alternating overlapping row 20. During these operations, the flanges 12 of the carrier tape 10 in the overlapping circumferential rows 22 are overlapped and contacted from the outside (from the upper side in Fig. 1) with the flanges 12A of the carrier tape 10 in the adjacent overlapping circumferential rows 23.
[0036] Once the first stage has been formed into an alternating overlapping stage 20 in this manner, the direction of movement of the carrier tape 10 is reversed, and the carrier tape 10 is wound normally while moving from the other end of the winding core 2 of the take-up reel 1 toward one end thereof to form a plurality of normal circumferential rows 25, and this operation is repeated up to the vicinity of one end of the winding core 2 to form the second stage into a normal stage 24.
[0037] After the second row is formed into a normal row 24, the third odd-numbered row is formed into an alternating overlap row 20, and the fourth even-numbered row is formed into a normal row 24. By repeating these steps, the carrier tape 10 can be traverse-wound and wound up in multiple rows to obtain a package of the carrier tape 10.
[0038] Next, a case will be described in which an 8 mm wide carrier tape 10 is traverse wound in multiple stages. In this carrier tape 10, the resin sheet 11 has a width of 8 mm, the flange 12 with sprocket holes 13 has a width of 3.1 mm, and the flange 12A without sprocket holes 13 has a width of 0.8 mm.
[0039] First, the carrier tape 10 is wound while moving it from one end of the core 2 of the take-up reel 1 toward the other end to form the first row of the first stage, and at this time, the width of the lateral movement of the incoming guide roll per revolution of the take-up reel 1 is set to 8.1 mm, and the carrier tape 10 is wound so that the flange 12A does not overlap the preceding carrier tape 10. After the carrier tape 10 is wound in this manner, the second row of the first stage is formed, and at this time, the width of the lateral movement of the incoming guide roll per revolution of the take-up reel 1 is changed to 5.0 mm.
[0040] Next, the third row of the first stage is formed, with the lateral movement width of the incoming guide roll for each rotation of the take-up reel 1 being 8.1 mm. Then, when the fourth row of the first stage is formed, the lateral movement width of the incoming guide roll for each rotation of the take-up reel 1 is changed to 5.0 mm, and these changes in the movement width of the incoming guide roll are alternately repeated up to the vicinity of the other end of the winding core 2.
[0041] When the carrier tape 10 has moved to the vicinity of the other end of the winding core 2, the direction of movement of the carrier tape 10 is reversed, and the carrier tape 10 is wound while moving from the other end toward one end of the winding core 2 to form the first circumferential row of the second stage. At this time, the lateral movement width of the incoming wire guide roll for each rotation of the winding reel 1 is set to 8.1 mm.
[0042] After the first circumferential row of the second stage is formed, the second circumferential row of the second stage is formed, but at this time, the lateral movement width of the incoming guide roll per rotation of the take-up reel 1 is changed to 7.5 mm, and the flange 12 of the carrier tape 10 is overlapped by 0.6 mm over the flange 12A of the preceding carrier tape 10. By repeating these operations for the required number of stages, the 8 mm wide carrier tape 10 can be traverse-wound in multiple stages to obtain a package of the carrier tape 10.
[0043] According to the above, the alternating overlapping steps 20 that exhibit a non-slip function are formed by alternately winding the multiple overlapping circumferential rows 22 and the overlapped circumferential rows 23, and deviation in the cumulative height is suppressed, thereby stabilizing the winding posture of the carrier tape 10. In particular, the winding posture of the carrier tape 10 having a width of 24 mm or less in FIG. 2 can be significantly stabilized.
[0044] It is also possible to eliminate the risk of the overlapping portions of the flanges 12 and 12A slipping off and the pitch becoming unstable during winding due to the sliding characteristics and thickness of the material of the carrier tape 10, the accumulated overlap of the flanges 12 and 12A, and the tension during winding. For example, even when the material of the carrier tape 10 is polyethylene terephthalate resin, which is slippery, it is possible to prevent the overlapping portions of the flanges 12 and 12A from slipping off and the pitch becoming unstable during winding.
[0045] In addition, even if the thickness of the resin sheet 11 is 0.4 mm or more and the overlapping margin of the flanges 12 and 12A is large, the overlapping circumferential rows 22 and the overlapped circumferential rows 23 are not difficult to control when wound, and these circumferential rows do not slip off irregularly and become unwound. Therefore, it is not necessary to wind the carrier tape 10 in multiple stages by normal winding. Furthermore, since the carrier tape 10 can be prevented from slipping off, uncontrollable pitch expansion does not occur, and it is possible to prevent problems such as unintended overlapping in the next circumferential row.
[0046] Next, FIG. 4 shows a second embodiment of the present invention, in which the carrier tape 10 is wound in multiple stages around the winding core 2 of the winding reel 1 by traverse winding, and all of the multiple stages are formed into alternating overlapping stages 20.
[0047] The overlapping rows 21 are preferably adjacent to each other with a small gap therebetween, but may be in contact with each other. Also, the flanges 12 of the carrier tape 10 in the overlapping circumferential row 22 are preferably overlapped and in contact with the flanges 12A of the carrier tape 10 in the adjacent overlapped circumferential row 23, but may be overlapped and in contact with each other.
[0048] In the above, when traverse winding the carrier tape 10 in multiple stages, as shown in Figure 4, first, the carrier tape 10 is wound while moving it from one end of the winding core 2 of the take-up reel 1 toward the other end, thereby forming adjacent odd-numbered overlapped circumferential rows 23 and even-numbered overlapping circumferential rows 22, thereby forming an overlapping row 21, and this operation is repeated up to the vicinity of the other end of the winding core 2 to form the first stage into an alternating overlapping stage 20.
[0049] Once the first stage has been formed into the alternating overlapping stage 20 in this manner, the moving direction of the carrier tape 10 is reversed, and the carrier tape 10 is wound while moving it from the other end of the winding core 2 toward one end to form adjacent odd-numbered overlapped circumferential rows 23 and even-numbered overlapped circumferential rows 22, thereby forming an overlapping row 21, and this operation is repeated up to the vicinity of one end of the winding core 2 to form the second stage into the alternating overlapping stage 20. During these operations, the flanges 12A of the carrier tape 10 in the overlapping circumferential rows 22 are overlapped and contacted from the outside (from the upper side in FIG. 4) with the flanges 12 of the carrier tape 10 in the adjacent overlapping circumferential rows 23.
[0050] After the second row is formed into an alternating overlap row 20, the third odd-numbered row is formed into an alternating overlap row 20 similar to the first row, and the fourth even-numbered row is formed into an alternating overlap row 20 similar to the second row, and by repeating these steps, the carrier tape 10 can be traverse-wound and wound up in multiple rows to obtain a package of the carrier tape 10. The other parts are the same as those in the above embodiment, so a description thereof will be omitted.
[0051] In this embodiment, the same effects as those of the above embodiment can be expected, and furthermore, since all the stages are formed into alternating overlapping stages 20, it is clear that the winding posture of the carrier tape 10 can be significantly stabilized even if the carrier tape 10 has a width of 32 mm or more as shown in Figure 3.
[0052] In the above embodiment, when the carrier tape 10 is wound in multiple stages, either the odd-numbered stages or the even-numbered stages are the alternating overlap stages 20, but this is not limited to this. For example, specific stages (e.g., the first stage, the fifth stage, the tenth stage, etc.) may be the alternating overlap stages 20, and the remaining stages may be the normal stages 24. EXAMPLES
[0053] Hereinafter, examples of the carrier tape winding method according to the present invention will be described together with comparative examples. Example 1 First, a take-up reel and a carrier tape were prepared. The take-up reel used had a core diameter of 220 mm, an outer diameter of each side plate of 420 mm, and a width of 150 mm. The carrier tape used had a resin sheet width of 8 mm. The width of the sprocket flange with sprocket holes of this carrier tape was measured to be 3.1 mm, and the width of the free flange without sprocket holes was measured to be 0.8 mm. Each pocket of the carrier tape was measured to be 3.1 mm wide x 2.5 mm long x 1.4 mm deep.
[0054] After the take-up reel and carrier tape were prepared, the carrier tape was wound while moving it from one end of the winding core of the take-up reel toward the other end by the inlet guide roll to form adjacent overlapped circumferential rows and overlapping circumferential rows, and these formed an overlapping row, and this operation was repeated up to the vicinity of the other end of the winding core to form the first row into an alternating overlapping row. During this operation, the sprocket flanges of the carrier tape in the overlapping circumferential rows were overlapped and contacted from the outside with the free flanges of the carrier tape in the adjacent overlapping circumferential rows.
[0055] After the first stage was formed as an alternating overlapping stage, the moving direction of the carrier tape was reversed, and the carrier tape was wound while moving it from the other end of the winding core toward one end by the in-line guide roll to form adjacent overlapped circumferential rows and overlapping circumferential rows, thereby forming an overlapping row, and this operation was repeated up to the vicinity of one end of the winding core to form a second stage as an alternating overlapping stage. During these operations, the free flange of the carrier tape in the overlapping circumferential row was overlapped and contacted from the outside with the sprocket flange of the carrier tape in the adjacent overlapping circumferential row.
[0056] The travel distance of the incoming guide roll was set to 5.0 mm or 8.1 mm for the alternating overlapping stage where the sprocket flange overlaps the free flange from the outside. In contrast, it was set to 7.5 mm or 8.1 mm for the alternating overlapping stage where the free flange overlaps the sprocket flange from the outside. In addition, a constant tension was applied to the carrier tape during the above work, and this tension was set to 40 N.
[0057] The carrier tape was wound around the take-up reel in a multi-stage traverse winding manner to obtain a package of the carrier tape, and the appearance of this package was observed to evaluate its quality. Specifically, the carrier tape was visually observed, and the presence or absence of pocket fitting and winding irregularity were evaluated by recording ○ and × in Table 1. ○ indicates that there was no problem with the practicality of the package, and × indicates that there was doubt about the practicality of the package.
[0058] Comparative Example 1 The basic structure is the same as in Example 1, but the movement of the inlet guide roll was changed to only 8.1 mm in the alternating overlapping stage where the sprocket flange overlaps the free flange from the outside. Also, the movement of the inlet guide roll was changed to only 8.1 mm in the alternating overlapping stage where the free flange overlaps the sprocket flange from the outside.
[0059] The carrier tape was wound around the take-up reel in a multi-stage traverse winding manner to obtain a package of the carrier tape, and the appearance of this package was then observed. Specifically, the carrier tape was visually observed, and the presence or absence of pocket fitting and winding irregularities were summarized in Table 1.
[0060] Comparative Example 2 The basic structure is the same as in Example 1, but the movement of the incoming guide roll was changed to only 5.0 mm in the alternating overlapping stage where the sprocket flange overlaps the free flange from the outside, and to only 8.1 mm in the alternating overlapping stage where the free flange overlaps the sprocket flange from the outside.
[0061] The carrier tape was wound around the take-up reel in a multi-stage traverse winding manner to obtain a package of the carrier tape, and the appearance of the package was observed to evaluate its quality. Specifically, the carrier tape was visually observed, and the presence or absence of pocket fitting and the presence or absence of winding irregularity were evaluated by recording ○ × in Table 1.
[0062] [Table 1]
[0063] 〔evaluation〕 In the case of Example 1, since no pockets were fitted into the gaps in the carrier tape, there were no irregularities on the surface of the carrier tape and no irregular winding was observed, resulting in very good results. In contrast, in the case of Comparative Example 1, the bottom of the pocket fitted into the gap of the carrier tape, causing unevenness on the surface of the carrier tape, raising doubts about practical use. Also, in the case of Comparative Example 2, the bottom of the pocket fitted into the gap of the carrier tape, causing unevenness on the surface of the carrier tape. In addition, random slip-off occurred at the overlapping portion of the flange, and winding irregularities were confirmed. This winding irregularity raised serious doubts about practical use. [Industrial Applicability]
[0064] The carrier tape winding method and the carrier tape package according to the present invention are used in the fields of storing, storing, conveying, transporting, and the like of parts. [Explanation of symbols]
