A light receiving element is also mounted on the substrate, and has a semiconductor light receiving part that has an optical axis in the normal direction of the substrate and a second protective member that covers the semiconductor light receiving part and has light transmissivity. Sides in a short direction of the first protective member parallel to the substrate face sides in the short direction of the second protective member parallel to the substrate or sides in a longitudinal direction of the second protective member parallel to the substrate.
