Abstract

The present invention provides an authentication management device including: an authentication result acquisition unit that obtains an authentication result of authenticating a user by ear acoustic authentication in an earphone; a storage unit that stores the authentication result; a determination result acquisition unit that after the authentication result is obtained, obtains a wearing determination result indicating whether the earphone is worn in an ear of the user on the basis of a detection result of a proximity sensor; and a control unit that updates the authentication result stored in the storage unit when the wearing determination result indicates that the earphone is not worn in the ear.
