Abstract

To provide a robust authentication system improved in convenience for users.SOLUTION: In an information processing system for providing an authentication service, a registration management unit 101 causes a predetermined storage device to store information specified by a user as information required for authentication of the user and including one or more registration images, to be managed as registration information. An authentication receiving unit 141 receives one or more authentication images in authenticating the user, by operation of an operator. A comparison unit 142 compares the authentication images received by the authentication receiving unit 141 with the registration information managed by the registration management unit 101. An authentication unit 143 executes processing for authenticating the operator as the user on the basis of a result of the comparison of the comparison unit 142.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 10
