Abstract

To provide a steering control device that can utilize merits of turning-side synchronous control and steering-side synchronous control as methods for correcting a positional relation between a steering wheel and turning wheels.SOLUTION: A steering control device comprises: a steering-side control part that controls motion of a steering actuator; and a turning-side control part that controls motion of a turning actuator having a structure in which a power transmission path between the steering actuator and the turning actuator is separated. With respect to a positional relation between a steering angle θh and a pinion angle θp at the time when a starting switch is tuned on, synchronous control in accordance with magnitude of deviation amounts Δθ is executed. The synchronous control is configured so that only turning-side synchronous control is executed when the magnitude is below a first threshold θ1, only steering-side synchronous control is executed when the magnitude is larger than the sum of thresholds θ1 and θ2, and at least either of the steering-side synchronous control and the turning-side synchronous control is executed when the magnitude is larger than the first threshold θ1 and is less than the sum of the thresholds θ1 and θ2.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
