Abstract

To provide an injection amount calculation device capable of suppressing deterioration in NOx reduction performance and suppressing ammonia slip, and an injection amount control method.SOLUTION: A controller 1 includes: a calculation unit 10 that upon receiving the input of a current sensor value A1 in a vehicle, based on the current sensor value A1 and a target value of an ammonia adsorption amount in a selective reduction catalyst, calculates an injection amount so that the ammonia adsorption amount approaches the target value; and a prediction unit 20 that upon receiving the input of a current sensor value B1, calculates a correction target value, which is a correction value of the target value, by future prediction based on the current sensor value B1.
