Summary of the Invention
Problems to be Solved by the Invention
[0005] However, the resin composition described in Patent Document 1 contains a large amount of silicone oil in order to suppress the crystallinity of the resin component, and as a result, the physical properties of the molded article obtained from this resin composition may not be sufficient.
[0006] Therefore, an object of the present invention is to provide a resin composition in which the crystallinity of a resin component is suppressed and a molded article thereof.
Means for Solving the Problems
[0007] As a result of intensive studies to solve the above problems, the present inventors have found that the above problems can be solved by a polyolefin-based resin composition containing a nucleating agent having specific properties at a specific ratio, and have completed the present invention.
[0008] That is, the resin composition of the present invention is a resin composition containing a polyolefin resin and a nucleating agent, where the nucleating agent is a nucleating agent that melts at a temperature 150 °C higher than the melting point of the polyolefin resin, or a nucleating agent that dissolves in the polyolefin resin at a temperature 150 °C higher than the melting point of the polyolefin resin, and when 0.2 parts by mass of the nucleating agent is added to 100 parts by mass of the polyolefin resin, the nucleating agent is one that improves the crystallization temperature of the polyolefin resin by 7 °C or more, and the content of the nucleating agent with respect to 100 parts by mass of the polyolefin resin is 0.005 parts by mass or more and less than 0.1 parts by mass.
[0009] In the resin composition of the present invention, the melting point of the nucleating agent is preferably 150 to 300 °C. Also, in the resin composition of the present invention, it is preferable that the nucleating agent contains a triazine compound represented by the following general formula (1).
[0010]
[0011] Here, in the general formula (1), Ar , 5 , , 3 , , 1 , 3 , 2 , 4 , 2 ,
[0014] ,
[0013] , 、Ar 2 and Ar 3 each independently represent a phenyl group with or without a substituent.
[0012] Furthermore, in the resin composition of the present invention, it is also preferable that the nucleating agent contains an acetal compound represented by the following general formula (2).
[0013]
[0014] Here, in the general formula (2), R 1 represents a hydrogen atom or an alkyl group having 1 to 4 carbon atoms, and R 2 、R 3 、R 4 and R 5 each independently represent a hydrogen atom, a halogen atom, a cyano group, an alkyl group having 1 to 4 carbon atoms or an alkoxy group having 1 to 4 carbon atoms, or R 2 and R 3 or R4 and R 5 These groups are linked together to represent an alkylene group with 3 to 6 carbon atoms or an alkylenedioxy group with 1 to 4 carbon atoms, and X represents a single bond, a -CH(OH)- group, or a -CH(OH)CH(OH)- group.
[0015] In the resin composition of the present invention, the "melting point" of the polyolefin resin is determined by measurement using a differential scanning calorimetry device, and is the temperature of the endothermic peak top observed when the polyolefin resin is heated from room temperature at a rate of 10°C / min in a nitrogen atmosphere. Similarly, the "melting point" of the nucleating agent is determined by measurement using a differential scanning calorimetry device, and is the temperature of the endothermic peak top observed when the nucleating agent is heated from room temperature at a rate of 10°C / min in a nitrogen atmosphere.
[0016] Furthermore, in the resin composition of the present invention, the crystallization temperature of the polyolefin resin is the crystallization temperature measured in accordance with JIS K 7121 using a differential scanning calorimetry device.
[0017] The molded article of the present invention is characterized by being obtained by molding the resin composition of the present invention. [Effects of the Invention]

[0020] Embodiments of the present invention will be described in detail below. <Resin composition> The resin composition of the present invention comprises a polyolefin resin and a nucleating agent. In the composition of the present invention, the nucleating agent melts at a temperature 150°C higher than the melting point of the polyolefin resin, or dissolves in the polyolefin resin at a temperature 150°C higher than the melting point of the polyolefin resin, and when 0.2 parts by mass of the nucleating agent is added per 100 parts by mass of the polyolefin resin, the crystallization temperature of the polyolefin resin is raised by 7°C or more. Furthermore, in the resin composition of the present invention, the content of the nucleating agent per 100 parts by mass of the polyolefin resin is 0.005 parts by mass or more and less than 0.1 parts by mass. With this configuration, the crystallinity of the resin component is suppressed in the resin composition of the present invention. The reason for this is thought to be as follows.
[0021] When a resin composition obtained by adding the nucleating agent according to the present invention to a polyolefin resin in a conventional amount (for example, 0.2 parts by mass per 100 parts by mass of resin) is heated and plasticized, the nucleating agent melts or dissolves in the polyolefin resin and diffuses into the resin matrix. When the resulting molten resin is cooled, the nucleating agent in the resin matrix self-assembles into microcrystals. These microcrystals then act as crystal nuclei, promoting the crystallization of the polyolefin resin.
[0022] On the other hand, when the resin composition of the present invention is similarly heated and plasticized and then cooled, the concentration of the nucleating agent in the resin matrix is sufficiently low, preventing the nucleating agent from self-assembling within the resin matrix. Furthermore, the strong interaction between the nucleating agent molecules and the resin molecules inhibits the expansion of the crystalline domains of the resin molecules. From these results, it is presumed that the resin composition of the present invention suppresses the crystallization of polyolefin-based resins. The components of the resin composition of the present invention will be described in detail below.
[0023] <Polyolefin resins> The polyolefin resin according to the resin composition of the present invention can be used regardless of molecular weight, degree of polymerization, density, softening point, proportion of insoluble matter in the solvent, degree of stereoregularity, presence or absence of catalyst residue, type and blending ratio of raw material monomers, type of polymerization catalyst (e.g., Ziegler catalyst, metallocene catalyst, etc.). In the resin composition of the present invention, a polyolefin resin refers to a resin in which the proportion of polyolefin is 70% by mass or more of the resin component, preferably 80% by mass or more, more preferably 90% by mass or more, and particularly preferably 100% by mass.
[0024] Examples of polyolefin resins include polyethylene, low-density polyethylene, linear low-density polyethylene, high-density polyethylene, polypropylene, homopolypropylene, random copolymer polypropylene, block copolymer polypropylene, impact copolymer polypropylene, high-impact copolymer polypropylene, isotactic polypropylene, syndiotactic polypropylene, hemiisotactic polypropylene, maleic anhydride-modified polypropylene, polybutene, cycloolefin polymer, stereoblock polypropylene, α-olefin polymers such as poly-3-methyl-1-butene, poly-3-methyl-1-pentene, and poly-4-methyl-1-pentene, ethylene / propylene block or random copolymers, ethylene-methyl methacrylate copolymers, and ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymers, and may also be elastomers. In the resin composition of the present invention, two or more of these may be used in blend form, a block copolymer may be formed and used as a block polymer type, and the resin may be alloyed. Furthermore, these polyolefin resins may be chlorinated products.
[0025] Examples of polyolefin-based resin elastomers include elastomers obtained by blending polyolefins such as polypropylene and polyethylene as hard segments and rubbers such as ethylene-propylene rubber as soft segments, or elastomers obtained by dynamic crosslinking.
[0026] Examples of hard segments include at least one selected from polypropylene homopolymer, polypropylene block copolymer, polypropylene random copolymer, and the like.
[0027] Examples of soft segments include ethylene-propylene copolymer (EPM), ethylene-propylene-diene copolymer (EPDM), ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer (EVA), and vinyl acetate homopolymer. Two or more of these may be used in blend form.
[0028] <Nuclear agent> The nucleating agent in the resin composition of the present invention is a nucleating agent that melts at a temperature 150°C higher than the melting point of the polyolefin resin, or a nucleating agent that dissolves in the polyolefin resin at a temperature 150°C higher than the melting point of the polyolefin resin. When the nucleating agent melts at a temperature 150°C higher than the melting point of the polyolefin resin, during the molding process of the resin composition, the nucleating agent melts into a liquid state and diffuses into the molten plasticized polyolefin resin. When the nucleating agent dissolves in the polyolefin resin at a temperature 150°C higher than the melting point of the polyolefin resin, during the molding process of the resin composition, the nucleating agent dissolves in the molten plasticized polyolefin resin and diffuses into the molten liquid.
[0029] The nucleating agent contained in the resin composition of the present invention is preferably a nucleating agent that melts at a temperature 120°C higher than the melting point of the polyolefin resin, or dissolves in the polyolefin resin at a temperature 120°C higher than the melting point of the polyolefin resin; more preferably a nucleating agent that melts at a temperature 100°C higher than the melting point of the polyolefin resin, or dissolves in the polyolefin resin at a temperature 100°C higher than the melting point of the polyolefin resin; and particularly preferably a nucleating agent that melts at a temperature 70°C higher than the melting point of the polyolefin resin, or dissolves in the polyolefin resin at a temperature 70°C higher than the melting point of the polyolefin resin.
[0030] Furthermore, the melting point of the nucleating agent contained in the resin composition of the present invention is preferably 150 to 300°C. When the melting point of the nucleating agent is 150°C or higher, the crystallinity of the resin component is more effectively suppressed. Also, when the melting point of the nucleating agent is 300°C or lower, the molding temperature of the resin composition can be sufficiently low, and discoloration and deterioration of physical properties of the molded product can be suppressed. The melting point of the nucleating agent is more preferably 280°C or lower, even more preferably 250°C or lower, and particularly preferably 230°C or lower. Furthermore, the melting point of the nucleating agent is more preferably 180°C or higher, and even more preferably 200°C or higher.
[0031] Furthermore, as described above, the nucleating agent in the resin composition of the present invention also raises the crystallization temperature of the polyolefin resin by 7°C or more when 0.2 parts by mass of the nucleating agent are added to 100 parts by mass of the polyolefin resin. If the degree of improvement in the crystallization temperature of the polyolefin resin is less than 7°C when 0.2 parts by mass of the nucleating agent are added to 100 parts by mass of the polyolefin resin, the molecules of the nucleating agent cannot be said to have sufficiently strong interactions with the resin molecules and cannot effectively inhibit the expansion of the crystalline domains of the resin molecules. Therefore, a nucleating agent that raises the crystallization temperature of the polyolefin resin by less than 7°C when 0.2 parts by mass of the nucleating agent are added to 100 parts by mass of the polyolefin resin cannot sufficiently suppress the crystallization of the polyolefin resin. In other words, if the nucleating agent raises the crystallization temperature of the polyolefin resin by less than 7°C when 0.2 parts by mass of the nucleating agent are added to 100 parts by mass of the polyolefin resin, the crystallinity of the resin components in the resin composition will not be sufficiently suppressed. The nucleating agent in the resin composition of the present invention preferably raises the crystallization temperature of the polyolefin resin by 9°C or more, and more preferably by 11°C or more, when 0.2 parts by mass of the nucleating agent is added to 100 parts by mass of the polyolefin resin.

These may be included in the resin composition individually or in combination of two or more. Among these, triazine compounds represented by the following general formula (1) and acetal compounds represented by the following general formula (2) are particularly preferred. [0094] (Experimental Examples 1-6 and Reference Example 1) <Confirmation of crystallization temperature when 0.2 parts by mass of nucleating agent are added to 100 parts by mass of polyolefin resin> The crystallization temperature of polyolefin resins was confirmed when 0.2 parts by mass of each of the following nucleating agents 1 to 6 were added to 100 parts by mass of the polyolefin resin. The following polyolefin resins, nucleating agents, antioxidants, and fatty acid metal salts were blended in the proportions shown in Table 1, mixed using a Henschel mixer, and then melt-kneaded and granulated at an extrusion temperature of 230°C using a twin-screw extruder (TEX-28V, manufactured by Japan Steel Works) to obtain resin composition pellets for Experimental Examples 1 to 6 and Reference Example 1. In Table 1, the unit of the blending amount of each component is parts by mass. The crystallization temperature of the obtained resin composition pellets was measured using the following procedure.
[0095] Polyolefin resin: Homopolypropylene with a melt flow rate of 7.7 g / 10 min at a cylinder temperature of 230°C and a load of 2.16 kg, melting point 160°C. Nuclear agent 1: Triazine compound No. 59, melting point 202.7°C Nuclear agent 2: Triazine compound No. 58, melting point 189.3°C Nuclear agent 3: Triazine compound No. 50, melting point 217.7°C Nuclear agent 4: Acetal compound of compound No. 60, melting point 274.8°C Nuclear agent 5: Acetal compound of compound No. 61, melting point 244.7°C Nuclear agent 6: Lithium 2,2'-methylenebis(4,6-diter-butylphenyl) phosphate, melting point above 400°C (no endothermic peak observed) Antioxidant 1: Tetrakis[methylene-3-(3',5'-diter-butyl-4'-hydroxyphenyl)propionate]methane Antioxidant 2: Tris(2,4-di-tert-butylphenyl) phosphite Fatty acid metal salts: Calcium stearate The "melting point" of the nucleation agent is the temperature (°C) of the endothermic peak observed when the nucleation agent is heated from 50°C to 400°C at a rate of 10°C / min under a nitrogen atmosphere using a differential scanning calorimetry system (Diamond, PerkinElmer).
[0096] <Crystallization temperature> The obtained resin composition pellets were finely crushed, and 5 mg of each was placed in an aluminum pan. The crystallization temperature was measured using a differential scanning calorimetry device (Diamond, PerkinElmer). The crystallization temperature was determined as the temperature (°C) of the exothermic peak observed during the cooling process when the temperature was raised from 50°C to 230°C at a rate of 10°C / min, held for 5 minutes, and then cooled to 50°C at a rate of 10°C / min. The results are shown in Table 1.
[0097] [Table 1]
[0098] As shown in Table 1, the crystallization temperatures of the resin compositions in Experimental Examples 1 to 6 were 7°C or more higher than those of the resin composition in Reference Example 1. Therefore, nucleating agents 1 to 6 were effective in raising the crystallization temperature of polyolefin resins by 7°C or more when added at a rate of 0.2 parts by mass per 100 parts by mass of polyolefin resin.
[0099] (Examples 1-10, Comparative Examples 1-7) <Preparation and Characterization of Resin Compositions> Polyolefin resin, nucleating agent, antioxidant, and fatty acid metal salt were blended in the proportions shown in Tables 2 to 4. After mixing using a Henschel mixer, the mixture was melt-kneaded at an extrusion temperature of 230°C using a twin-screw extruder (TEX-28V, manufactured by Japan Steel Works) and granulated to obtain resin composition pellets of Examples 1 to 10 and Comparative Examples 1 to 7. In Tables 2 to 4, the unit of the blending amount of each component is parts by mass. Furthermore, the crystallization temperature of the obtained resin composition pellets was measured using the same procedure as in Experimental Example 1. The results are shown in Tables 2 to 4.
[0100] [Table 2]
[0101] [Table 3]
[0102] [Table 4]
[0103] (Examples 11-12, Comparative Example 8) Polyolefin resin, nucleating agent, antioxidant, and fatty acid metal salt were blended in the proportions shown in Table 5 and mixed using a Henschel mixer. The mixture was then melt-kneaded and granulated using a twin-screw extruder (Laboplastmill Micro, manufactured by Toyo Seiki Seisakusho) at an extrusion temperature of 230°C to obtain resin composition pellets for Examples 11-12 and Comparative Example 8. In Table 5, the unit of the blending amount of each component is parts by mass. The obtained resin composition pellets were melt-compressed using a 50t press at 230°C, 10MPa, and 5min to obtain a square sheet with a side length of 10cm and a thickness of 1.0mm. A disc-shaped test piece with a diameter of 25mm was cut from the obtained sheet, and the flow field crystallization temperature of this test piece was measured using the following procedure.
[0104] First, the above test specimen was placed in a rotary rheometer (DHR2, TA Instruments Co., Ltd.) equipped with a 25 mm diameter parallel plate, heated at 200°C for 3 minutes under a nitrogen atmosphere, and then the gap was set to 0.9 mm to remove excess resin. Next, dynamic viscoelasticity measurements were performed by setting the apparatus to a strain of 1%, an angular velocity of 1 rad / s, a starting temperature of 200°C, and a cooling temperature of 5°C / min. The complex viscosity value η*(Pa·s) obtained from the measurement was then plotted against the measurement temperature (°C). Figure 1 shows a graph plotting η*(Pa·s) against the measurement temperature (°C) for the resin composition of Example 12. Here, the vertical axis in Figure 1 is on a common logarithmic scale. As shown in Figure 1, the slope of the tangent line on the graph changes significantly before and after the temperature at which the resin component crystallizes. Tangent lines were drawn at the point immediately before and immediately after the point where the slope of the tangent line changed significantly. The temperature corresponding to the intersection of these two tangent lines was defined as the flow-field crystallization temperature TC (°C), and this was used as an indicator of the crystallinity of the resin component in the flow field. Similar graphs were created for the resin compositions of Example 11 and Comparative Example 8, and the flow-field crystallization temperature TC was determined. The results are shown in Table 5.
[0105] [Table 5]
[0106] As shown in Tables 2 to 4, the resin compositions of Examples 1 to 10 had lower crystallization temperatures and suppressed crystallinity of the resin components compared to the resin composition of Comparative Example 7. On the other hand, the resin compositions of Comparative Examples 1 to 6 had higher crystallization temperatures and did not exhibit suppressed crystallinity of the resin components compared to the resin composition of Comparative Example 7. Furthermore, as shown in Table 5, the resin compositions of Examples 11 and 12 had lower flow field crystallization temperatures (TC) and suppressed crystallinity of the resin components compared to the resin composition of Comparative Example 8.
[0107] From the above, it has been confirmed that the resin composition of the present invention has suppressed crystallinity of the resin components.
