Abstract

To provide a recording device which is excellent in design property.SOLUTION: A recording device includes: a body; a recording section which is stored in the body and performs recording on a medium; a medium supply port which is provided in an upper section of the body, sets the medium, and supplies the medium to the recording section; and a medium support member which supports the medium set to the medium supply port. The medium support member has a first support member which can be opened / closed with respect to the medium supply port and a second support member which rotationally movably supports the first support member. When the first support member is in a closed state with respect to the medium supply port, the first support member and a top face of the body are formed on the same plane. The recording device further includes an energization mechanism which energizes the first support member in the closed state in a first direction to be the body side facing a tip of the first support member.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4A
