Abstract
To develop a novel method for eliminating a noodle group, which is unnecessary in noodle group cutting and charging steps of an instant noodle manufacturing process, in the steps from the cutting of the noodle group to the charging of the noodle group into a drying container.SOLUTION: A noodle cutting and charging apparatus is used to continuously cut a plurality of rows of noodle groups MS in a bundled state in a suspended state and store the noodle groups MS after cutting in a prescribed form RT. The noodle cutting and charging apparatus comprises a cylindrical rotary cutter part 3 that is arranged in a horizontal direction, a back plate area 5 that is vertically arranged under the cutter part, a noodle group division member 7 that is provided in the back plate area, and an elimination mechanism 9 that is positioned below the division member and provided in the back plate area.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
