Abstract

To provide a technique for improving battery cell performance of a cell including a rolled electrode.SOLUTION: A battery cell 100 comprises a rolled electrode 20. The rolled electrode has a first curve region 20r1 arranged on a first edge side, and a second curve region 20r2 arranged on a second edge side. In a cross-sectional view taken along a direction perpendicular to a winding axis WL of the rolled electrode 20, a line which extends in a direction perpendicular to a thickness direction across a first flat face 20f1 and a second flat face 20f2 passing through the winding axis WL is defined as a line A. In the rolled electrode 20, the first curve region 20r1 has a first region 20r1a on one side away from the line A. An end-of-winding 22e of a cathode and an end-of-winding 24e of an anode are positioned in the first region 20r1a, and an end-of-winding 70Ae of a first separator, positioned in an outermost face of the rolled electrode 20, is positioned in the second curve region 20r2.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 8
