Abstract

An ultraviolet-curable silicone composition is disclosed. The ultraviolet-curable silicone composition includes (A) an organopolysiloxane having at least two alkenyl groups and at least one aryl group in the molecule; (B) a polysiloxane block copolymer including (i) a polysiloxane block and (ii) an organic block, where the polysiloxane block (i) is bonded to the organic block (ii) via a specific bond, and the polysiloxane block copolymer has at least two thiol groups in the molecule; (C) a photopolymerization initiator; and (D) an inorganic filler. The composition exhibits excellent transparency even when an inorganic filler is added to improve thixotropy.
