Abstract

The present invention relates to a wall (1) of a sealed, insulated tank for storing liquefied gas, the wall (1) comprising at least one insulating barrier (6) and one sealing membrane (8) fixed to the insulating barrier (6) and adapted to be in contact with the liquefied gas contained in the sealed, insulated tank, the insulating barrier (6) comprising insulating panels (7) juxtaposed in parallel rows and columns, each insulating panel (7) having an inner surface supporting the sealing membrane (8) and connected to adjacent insulating panels (7) by bridging elements (26), each bridging element (26) being arranged across two adjacent insulating panels (7) and fixed to a recess (25) formed in an edge of the inner surface of one of the two adjacent insulating panels (7) and to a recess (25) formed in an edge of the inner surface of the other of the two adjacent insulating panels (7).
