Abstract
To provide a speed measurement device suitable for measuring speed in a plurality of different types of sports.SOLUTION: A speed measurement device for sports includes: a microwave doppler sensor 11; an amplifier 12 that amplifies a doppler signal output from the microwave doppler sensor; and a control part 13 for generating display information based on the output doppler signal and displaying the same on a display part 14. The control part 13 executes: an exclusive process for generating display information at a predefined single operation unit in the sports to be measured; a general process for generating an instantaneous speed repeatedly acquired at a predefined time interval as the display information; and a switch process for switching between the exclusive process and the general process based on a switching instruction from an operation part 17 by a user.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
