This terminal comprises a control unit that, in at least a portion of a specific frequency range in which a specific subcarrier interval is defined as a minimum subcarrier interval, or in a relevant frequency band that includes a lower frequency band than the specific frequency range, applies a target subcarrier interval that is lower than the specific subcarrier interval. The frequency usage efficiency of the target subcarrier interval is higher than the frequency usage efficiency of the specific subcarrier interval.
