Abstract

To improve cooling performance of a battery, protectiveness of a cooling mechanism, or a liquid-proofing property of the battery.SOLUTION: A battery case 1 comprises a rectangular frame-like frame body 2, and a support plate 3 that is provided in a lower part of the frame body 2 so as to support a battery B. An inner peripheral surface of the frame body 2 and a top surface of the support plate 3 define a storage space S of the battery B. Each of a pair of side frames 2A and 2B has a base 21 that constitutes the inner peripheral surface of the frame body 2, and an inside protrusion 22 that protrudes inward in a vehicle width direction from a lower end of the base 21. The support plate 3 is supported on the inside protrusion 22. The battery case 1 comprises a refrigerant passage 70 through which a refrigerant flows. The refrigerant passage 70 includes an in-frame passage 71, and an in-plate passage 72 that is formed within the support plate 3 in such a manner as to communicate with the in-frame passage 71. The in-frame passage 71 is provided in the inside protrusion 22, and arranged on the vehicle-width-direction inside with respect to an inner peripheral surface of the base 21 and on the downside with respect to the support plate 3.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 13
