Abstract

A stator comprising: a stator shaft; a laminated core including a plurality of laminations, the stator teeth being connected to one another via an annular stator yoke; a conductor bundle including a plurality of conductors, in particular a laminate of rectangular conductors, being provided in each of the stator grooves to form an electric stator winding; each of the stator grooves having a groove base facing the stator yoke and a groove slot, in particular formed between two tooth heads of each of the stator teeth and facing in an opposite direction to the groove base; a plurality of support points spaced apart from one another in an axial direction relative to the stator shaft are formed in each of the stator grooves to support the conductor bundle located in the respective stator groove; and a groove base flow passage extending in an axial direction is formed between the groove base of each of the stator grooves and the conductor bundle arranged in the stator groove, in which a cooling medium, in particular oil, can at least partially flow along a cooling path between a groove inlet and a groove outlet of each of the stator grooves, a groove slot passage (18) extending in an axial direction is formed in the groove slot (5.2) of each stator groove (5), the groove slot passage (18) being fluidly connected to the groove base passage (14) of the same stator groove (5) at at least one diverter point (21) via a diverter connection (22) extending radially with respect to the stator axis (2), and the cooling path (15) of the stator groove (5) is formed in such a way that a cooling flow is forced from the groove slot passage (18) via the at least one diverter connection (22) to the groove base passage (14) and / or vice versa.
