Abstract
To provide an operation device of a vehicle door capable of preventing the door from being held in a closed position after the door is opened using an emergency handle.SOLUTION: An operation device comprises: a closing latch unit 17 capable of holding a door 4 supported on a vehicle body to open and close, in a closed position; a full-opening latch unit 18 capable of holding the door 4 in a full-open position; an actuator 172 having a motor; an emergency handle 27 capable of being manually operated from the inside of a vehicle; and an operation relay unit 19 that releases latching of the closing latch unit 17 and the full-opening latch unit 18 based on driving of the actuator 172, and releases latching of the closing latch unit 17 based on the manual operation of the emergency handle 27 so as to be held in an unlatched state.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
