Abstract

To provide a toner that can improve cleaning properties and filming resistance.SOLUTION: A toner includes a toner base particle containing a binder resin and a colorant, and an external additive, and the toner satisfies the following conditions (a) and (b). (a) When the average surface roughness of toner particles detected by an SPM analyzer is Ra[nm], the Ra[nm] satisfies the following formula (1). Formula (1) 10<Ra<200. (b) The external additive includes at least coalesced particles. The coalesced particles are non-spherical secondary particle obtained by coalescing primary particles with each other. The number average particle diameter of the coalesced particles is 50 nm or more.SELECTED DRAWING: None
