Abstract

This light-emitting device includes: a substrate; a light-emitting region comprising light-emitting elements arranged in a matrix on the substrate; and a sealing part positioned over the light-emitting region. The sealing part has formed therein a single lens that covers the light-emitting region. Furthermore, the method for manufacturing the light-emitting device includes: a step for forming the light-emitting region comprising the light-emitting elements arranged in a matrix on the substrate; and a step for sealing by forming the single lens that covers the light-emitting region.
