Elevator monitoring system and communication control device

Abstract

The operation of elevators during renovation work, which include a mixture of new and existing elevators, is monitored using a common monitoring panel. [Solution] The elevator monitoring system undergoing renovation work includes a monitoring panel that receives operation management information and transmits operation control information, a first group control panel that performs group management of one or more existing elevators, a second group control panel that performs group management of one or more new elevators, and a communication control device that communicates with the monitoring panel, the first group control panel, and the second group control panel via a serial transmission method. The communication control device is configured to generate first operation control information and second operation control information based on the operation control information received from the monitoring panel and transmit them to the first group control panel and the second group control panel, respectively, and to generate operation control information based on the first operation control information and second operation control information received from the first group control panel and the second group control panel and transmit it to the monitoring panel.
