Abstract
[Problem] To select a communication method without adding a new command for selecting (designating) the communication method. [Solution] A first communication device 340 is provided with a first storage unit 343 that stores, in association with each other, a communication method that can be used between communication devices and a communication channel corresponding to the communication method. A traveling vehicle 300 is provided with a second storage unit 320 that stores area identification information for identifying each area 30 and a communication channel in association with each other. The traveling vehicle 300 uses the information stored in the second storage unit 320 to specify a communication channel to be used in an area 30 including a current position of the traveling vehicle 300. The first communication device 340 uses the information stored in the first storage unit 343 to specify a communication method corresponding to the communication channel specified by the traveling vehicle 300, and communicates with a second communication device 200 by means of the specified communication channel and communication method.
