Abstract

To bring a medical device into a usable state again by a simple method after connection between a drive source and a linear body is shut down.SOLUTION: A medical device includes a base unit equipped with a drive source inside and a bendable unit detachably mounted on the base unit. The bendable unit includes a connection part including a first member connected to the drive source and a second member connected to the linear body. The connection part is configured so as to maintain the state in which the first member and the second member are connected, and transmit driving force from the drive source to the linear body when tensile force of a first threshold or less, or compression force of a second threshold or less are applied between the first member and the second member, and separate the first member and the second member to shut down the transmission of the driving force when tensile force exceeding the first threshold or compression force exceeding the second threshold are applied between the first member and the second member.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 18
